finally got this done
personally don't know much about Killer Moth aside from a few pages that people posted, but from what i understand he fashions himself to be the "criminal's batman." he creates and sells gadgets to help criminals and copies Batman a bit

so what i tried to do is make a sort of budget Batman with a recognizable emblem for marketing purposes
- he can't compress his gear to the extent that infinite money Batman can, so has to have bulkier pouches and more belts (also to imitate the orange bands on his original design's pants)
- his suit is a bit loose because that magical superhero spandex is expensive shit
- helmet is probably just sturdy plastic but it looks cool
- i imagine he wears garish colors so he can serve as a distraction to his clientele. he's better equipped to take the heat and its better they get away to buy more of his merchandise, especially if they see how effective it can be as he uses it

Yeah, I kept playing around with ideas for months and months and months but what I realised is I just need to keep things simple

Colors in the second one are just placeholders to keep objects distinct from each-other before I go in to do the real thing.

Well you sound like myself and just about everyone else I know, so that's promising. I can't give you a whole psychological breakdown and explain exactly how to overcome it step by step but your barrier is always going to be your attitude and to what extent you feed into it's negative trends. Feeling like artistic death is fine and should be expected, but backing that up with self-loathing tirades is masturbatory and obviously counter productive. You need to start with the bare minimum daily consistent effort that you can pull off and don't let that falter. Now and again increase that bare minimum you're willing to practice and build on that. Let the things you need to do become second nature, instead of having every stroke you make be another excuse to enter an existential crisis.

Maybe you die before you can pull it off but you can at least die trying, that's better than most. .

You really ought to clean up the hand in the second panel, for a focal point it feels messier than the other objects in the scene, as simple as they are which makes it detract from everything. You don't need to go crazy but it's good to try to make the most important thing the cleanest thing, not that I tend to follow my own advice.
