Everything's ending because Giz can't make money off the ads anymore. She's getting 'real' comics work with various publishers these days, so it's a lot less hassle than trying to appease the advertisers with sex comedies that aren't allowed to show nipples.

Sticky Dilly Buns ended a few months back back, Magick Chicks ended years ago, Eerie Cuties had a series of wet farts before calling it quits, Sandra on the Rocks is ending sometime in the next few months (would probably be faster if they could get out more than a single strip every fortnight), and both DC and Ma3 will be ending in April or May, I believe.

Don't know about them. T. Campbell and Dave0 or whatever his name is have done a few other webcomics. Campbell was behind Fans and Guilded Age (which started out good and promising, then shit the bed hard with the reveal that fantasy land was actually an MMO and an alternate reality at the same time).

DC's artist, J. Waltrip is either John or Jason Waltrip, and they tend to whore themselves out for whatever cheap webcomic needs a replacement artist (One of the Waltrips replaced Erica Henderson on Guilded Age). They've been subpar artists in the comics industry since they got their start doing drawing and writing Robotech comics in the 80s, but they always turn their shit in on time, so someone needing a replacement can always turn to them.

This is my first exposure to this Why would anybody read this? It's like self-parody.

Yeah I think it's the whole him turning to a girl that ruined it. Only reason they did it was to lose the lesbian cheerleader that raged everyone or something. I really wonder how this comic would have gone. If they never made teddy a girl and just kept to the original story they had planned out.

I feel kinda bad for Giz having to censor themselves because their advertisers won’t let a porn webcomic show nudity.

Holy shit I started dropping the first ever one when they kept making side stories of each person I couldn't deal with that kind of stupid shit but fucking glad I dropped it before I even got too deep into this shit show I could only imagine how all those others stories went just by seeing this one.

Geez. I can remember when she ran the webcomic "cool cats studio". It wasn't my thing but it was well drawn.
Then Eerie Cuties started and it was a cute monstergirl comic.
Even MA3 was a romantic sitcom that was fairly normal.

But at some point she just cranked it to 11 with poly relationships, cheating, everyone being Bi, TF plots and just kept going.

How did she ruin her gig with Archie Comics?

A lot of that is Dave taking over the bulk of the plotting while she focuses on art.

She didn't ruin anything with Archie that I'm aware of. She drew stories for four different comics, then an Archie meets the Ramones thing. That was only about two years ago. I remember she did some startlingly bland art for Jem and the Holograms and Betty Boop in '17 or so, then started Exorsisters last year for Image.

Nah, her gig only ever lasted for a few issues.

And, yeah. When Dave is writing, plotlines got a lot more sex focused with a lot more random comedy that relied on people being brain damaged lunatics.

Is it worse than Penny & Aggy? Cause that was pretty fucking bad.

All their works have ended badly. Magick Chicks got really fucking bad towards the end and Eerie Cuties ending on a wet fart. DSB honestly didnt need to exist and was clearly rushed out. Ma3 is looking to have a rushed ending as well but DC has gotten far too weird that I'm curious to see how it wraps up.
