You know, I was going to contest this, until I realized you could almost boil both down to "MUH FATHER."
I'd say if you HAD to make that comparison, Manta and Orm both were sort of decomposite Killmonger. Although that's still pretty retarded.
That said, I'm so glad they actually did Manta justice in this movie. I was a tad worried, but I would say, for the most part, they did a damn good job. I still think his suit is a tad bulky and I would've liked air tubes going into his helmet, and the whole thing with Atlantean steel and the suit being Atlantean thing is kinda 'eh', although it does make sense. Plus it was a little hard to understand him. But all in all, I'm damn happy with him as he was. I just hope in the sequel, they bulk him down a bit and make him more agile.
