I'm surprised about how complicate is to write something Over The Garden Wall, seriously, this shit has details everywhere and there is a deep meaning behind these details, you need to read literature and stories to understand it and that's very different of GF's idea about details.
Why the moon is like this all the time? Why is Wirt a Bear? Why For Sara is so weird and hard to understand? Why Turtles? Why is Wirt a young lover? How can Wirt be a Bear, a feather and a Clown without produce a contradiction?
I think that the fandom hasn't explored it enough and it exemplifies why the author is someone very skillful.
