It's basically all of Salad Fingers in part. Finger's voice is explicitly meant to be like Jackson's if quote "[he] was from Barnsley". Barnsley for any Americans/other non Brits is an area in the North (NORF FC) with a fairly distinctive funny accent; Firth's Jerry Jackson has a more straight forward Barnsley voice. Note the way JJ says "Oer noer!" instead of "Oh no" for instance.
Firth has shown an interest in MJ in a few other spots, including a parody video where he redubbed one of his music videos (the one where he follows a woman around the streets) so he says he's going to rape her. This actually got banned from at least one website after tonnes of black american women who worship MJ complained, but he reuploaded it somewhere. That's the only time a Firth product has ever been banned if I recall.
Most telling is Michael's tormented relations with his family. I stumbled across a thread discussing MJ on /his/ a few days ago, talking about the usual, was he really a diddler etc., and someone linked an interested taped phone conversation between Jackson and a female acquaintance whose children he used to hang out with (...yeah...). He talks about his parents and siblings in there and how horrible and abusive his dad was, and in particular he does an impression of his dad that struck me instantly as akin to the voice Firth employs for "Glass Mother". I'd surmise (well, more than that) that Firth has a deep interest in and knowledge of MJ among other famous figures (particularly Stanley Kubrick for instance, whom Firth even resembles), and incorporates his studies into his cartoons.
