Is it wrong to take away sexy characters from cartoons?

Puritanical reasonings to why Miss Bellum shouldn't be in the PPG reboot has gotten me thinking. Is it not perfectly healthy to have attractive character? And I mean for the target audience.

Is it wrong to feel like that?

Yes to the first question an no to the second. Some kids mature faster than others.

The writers of NuPPG don't like boobs at all, hence why the girls' teacher no longer has breast whereas in the original she did.

every 14-year-old watching every TV show will find a waifu in it.

best you put one woman-shaped character in it.

there is no off position to the horny switch. deny them a proper waifu, they will find an improper one.

I will say no, especially for a show with an adult audience. Kids need to be exposed at some point, you can’t shelter forever
If animaniac’s reboot tones it down some I wouldn’t be surprised, they had to tone it down even when it first aired and it and try largely phased out some characters

The issue with attractive characters in media is that parents have allowed that media to raise their children. To teach them lessons, to instill values, and to promote ideals. So when media, in this case television, fails to do the job the parents should be doing themselves, people cry foul. Because television is entertainment, and big gazongas are very entertaining. But, when you rely on television to teach your kids everything, and your kid relies on television to teach them everything, suddenly the messaging becomes 'you must be attractive.' Because that's all these kids are seeing is attractive people on television. ANd now that they base their whole belief systems and self-image on television and its tropes, they feel bad and whine to the TV writers to make the women less attractive because they're still too lazy to actually raise their kids and leave television to harmless entertainment.

no. sexy women are immoral and should cover up or get canned.

Parents needs to take more vested interest in their children's media consumption, to be there an explain the context around what they see. If you try to shield your children they're left with only their own devices to figure shit out.

Not if you're part of a libtard agenda to turn kids gay.

They're only sexy for YOU.

I don't think the problem was ever with attractive characters but how 90's kids shows would often interpret attractiveness through the lens of Tex Avery-style sexist humor that seemed like it belonged more in an episode of The Man Show than Animaniacs or whatever.

You use the word "healthy" but the current view is more about responsibility. Like sex is healthy but obviously rape is not acceptable. It's irresponsible to make a kids cartoon and then have every male character cat-calling the female characters at all times. Like I don't think it's unhealthy to feature sex appeal, lust, or sexy characters but how should those things be defined and presented in a children's cartoon? It's an open question but I think Animaniacs got it wrong for sure.

So I guess what your advocating is that I stand watch over kids as they watch cartoons and call out their favorite shows as sexist, presumably so I can raise kids to be walking feminist-hate thread straw-people who don't enjoy anything, right? Also I love how people insist that parents lobbying companies and writers/artists taking the time to think critically about how media portrays women is somehow evidence of mass laziness.

No you fucking moron. I'm saying you should instill strong values in your kids so they don't base their self-worth on TV shows.

Yeah, Animaniacs did get it wrong. But that shouldn't be taken as to why there shouldn't be attractive women here and there in cartoons.

Those kids have no hope of turning out well anyway if their parents are that negligent and had kids without thinking or caring about them. Looking forward to the day we can dump something that sends people sterile into the water supply.

We need to take them away so that women don't get jealous and to also push the tranny agenda even further
Steven Universe has been doing it right, all the gem characters are ugly with weirdo body types and can conveniently be any gender they want at any time as they see fit. We need more shows like Steven Universe.

Yes.
It is a heinous crime

It is healthy to have sexy characters and not just as a method to satisfy people's lusts. Kids should find inspiration in cartoons to strive towards better health and attractiveness. Instead, current cartoons celebrate the mediocre, the ugly and even the lard asses.

Sex and violence are normal parts of life. If you can handle TV-Y7 violence, you can handle TV-Y7 big titties. Ideally a program should be like SWAT Kats, where the main characters in the show are all attractive, male and female alike.

My family owns a children's entertainment center. We used to have arcade games like Sunset Riders and Big Buck Hunter but 1 out of maybe every 10,000 moms got triggered by the bloodless E-rated violence and caused a big enough stink that we had to get rid of those. Speaking of sexual content, there were also a few covered up busty babes in some of our racing games that triggered the flat chests so we had to get rid of those as well. The busty moms thought those girls looked great.

I always felt bad for those kids being raised by the hyper sensitive parents.
