What would you like to see/be see changed in the Poppy O'possum reboot?
What would you like to see/be see changed in the Poppy O'possum reboot?
we can start with you not posting the fucking thumbnail next time you mongoloid
There you happy now?
The deepest lore was a mistake
It's certainly not an isolated problem for Yea Forums of today, but nevertheless he tripped on it and fell flat on his face, especially with his bitchout about Lila being a human despite every indication there were no humans
>reboot
>story isn't even finished
why do webcomic artists do this
Wasn’t it shown in the comic that she was a monkey though?
Fans that weren't snipping little draconian twerps, for one. The comic is pretty light hearted and shouldn't have fans that can't understand that attitude. Although what do I know, I didn't like the ultra-LGPTQF aspect of the book and found it to be too pandering.
No, and that's the base issue
After being lead on that there were no humans, but plenty of other primates, Morbi had a fit about racism because people assumed Lila was in fact a monkey
It's being rebooted? I thought it was just dead.
They're rebooting it? Is it even that old? I thought it was still ongoing.
People shouldn't be happy about you correcting something you should have gotten right the first time. The best you should hope for is them being appeased.
He's asking a hypothetical
Shit's dead af
how the hell is that a hypothetical
you know i dunno. I'm not really interested anymore. I'm fine with morbi. i like his characters. he just doesn't seem like he really can do the comic. not for a lack of ability but a lack of honesty that he even wants to.
Bro it's cool if you wanna draw your OCs just being cute.
You don't have to do regular updates either. just post when you feel like it.
plan things out more at least. That's all.
>what would you want to see in the (if it were to happen) reboot
I don't understand the confusion. I guess he should have said *A* reboot maybe, but still
For one thing...move her out of the city and make it more of adventure then a sitcom.
>reboot
Outline his plots in advance, add another arc or two before Poppy becomes ambassador, add another arc or two with Poppy as the ambassador, don't have Chicadino come off as off-screen keikaku master, have an actual work ethic.
Pretty much all Morbi ever mentioned about humans was either in the context of out-of-setting humans or stated in such away that didn't preclude there from being humans native to the setting. I assume the issue people had with humans in the comic was simply furry drama.
This. When Poppy got hired on by the princess I expected more adventurers traveling to distant lands.
The field trip to the dragon monastery was cool but thats all it was a Field trip.
Could have fit in more traveling politics and less relationship drama desu
I guess thats the issue with writing about moving to the big city/capital city
Morbi desperately needs a co-author and someone to brainstorm and workshop story ideas with
It's not really that, as Poppy being an ambassador opens up a lot of opportunity for her to travel. The issue is that the story where she becomes an ambassador is followed up by an as yet unfinished story where presumably Kit is overthrown and Poppy loses her ambassadorship.

take it to Yea Forums
;)
Having read most of it before stopping, I understand that reference.
Going back to how the comic felt the first few chapters.
Good world building and lore. Cute likeable characters, didn't take itself too seriously.
Man, I wanted Poppy and Boris to become an item, but that was torpedoed by the mandatory lezzing out that authors jam into their webcomics.
Nah I thought Boris was more of a bro even back then
