It wouldn't have been that bad but.. she took his name. HIS NAME! He is Thor. It's his name. His. Like wtf. It's not a title like Captain America/Marvel/Universe.
And then there was the whole wankfest of 'omg she uses myehmyeh better than orginal thor and he could never do that' Even though multiple times he's thrown myemyeh and it's went around things and shit. man he even threw it around a sun and put it through a builder.
And thennnnnnnnnnnnn she fights Odin and she doesn't get whipped silly and fucked stupid in a millisecond.

I used to follow marvel on and off (JMS run mostly, somehow missed all the crappy bits) but this crossover was happening right when I decided to get into marvel and DC head first.
And honestly I have no regrets. I know people trash it but this crossover had a lot of good tie ins. Nova, Surfer, X Men with Cyclops being heartless, Black Panther, FF and my first intro to Hercules where he fought the skrull gods. That shit was so good.
It truly felt like there was an invasion happening from all sides. Nothing was safe and going to change again!
Then marvel fucked it up as usual.
Still, I enjoyed it and this holds a special place in my heart.
