Strangely, this final page was not included in the comixology version, I got it from a different digital rip (I don't know where the other one came from though.) I used the comixology version because it had some pages the other rip was missing like the pages before chapter 1 and the murder of Jesse.
The French rips (as well as the other volume 1 English translation) has interviews and tidbits that are missing from the translated comixology versions, I'll post those too at the end of the storytime.
Fun read! Liked the movie. Liked the comic. They really should have done a bit of showing the wrestlers throughout history with Hitler, but I guess the movie was long enough with such little focus on them.
Juan Campbell
The movie was originally supposed to be 20 minutes longer, but stuff had to be cut for time.
There is also a Mutafukaz Issue #0 about the wrestlers fighting Nazis and ayy lmaos.
Yes, but not exactly. The movie is a condensed version of the comics. Some subplots are cut out (like the thing with the Asian gangs), while other events are combined (such as Croc holding Willy hostage and Willy's home being attacked.)
Also, going to post cut stuff from the French version of issue 2. Skipping over the infomation about stuff like Notre Dame of Guadalupe and La Santa Muerte because it's all in French.
I absolutely love the comic and I was a bit disappointed by the movie. RUN's drawing is extremely dynamic, each one of his pages his extremely well panneled, his action scenes have a fuckload of kinetic energy in them. The movie doens't have enough money to deliver on that. A good adapation would need to be at a Redline-level of animation to match the book IMO.

Is there a reason why one looks kinda like Chibi Ghost Rider and the other looks like Helmet-less Marvin the Martian?
Asher Ramirez
And why is that one dude, like, a cat, or something?
Josiah Nelson
Their appearance is never brought up in the story. Now one cares that Vinz is a flaming skull or that Angelino looks like that. To be fair, Angelino being black with ultra big eyes is justified by later revelations.olso one of their friend is a giant talking bat, and while people acknowledge that he's a bat, no one cares either.
This shit is nuts, which is how I prefer my comics.

When I went to the theaters, there was a little "making of MFKZ" video that said the reason the main trio are so chibi are to give them a sense of "underdog-ness" when put up against the bad guys who towered above them.
RUN said that he made Vinz a flaming skull guy as a reference to Ghost Rider, but Mutafukaz 2 will go into Vinz origins and give an in-universe explanation for his appearance.
Cool. It doesn't seem he needs it to live as he puts out the flame anytime he wears a hat.
Jacob Morgan
I've just finished that movie, it was good, but the thing is aachi and ssipak does it better in the matter of an stupid concept with a huge amount of action. There was a moment in the movie when I tried to take itself seriously, that's kind of dumb.
I liked the animation and style from the movie, but the story was fucking awful
Austin Edwards
Do you think the movie gotta have a sequel?
Gavin Collins
The comic justifies the serious elements better, and IMO the comic is animated better than the movie.
Charles Gonzalez
>the comic is animated better than the movie. That doesn't have any sense.
Kevin Jackson
As I was saying here The comic has a shitload of energy in it, the movie's budget is too thin for them to deliver that much.
Jaxson Williams
Messed up my replies

Maybe it would have been a little more solid if it had the extra 20 minutes, but it's always been more of a "action>plot" kind of thing.
We'll see. The movie cut out a lot of stuff from the comics, so the cut stuff could be put into the movies like the rival Asian gangs or the ayy lmao's secret weapon you'll see in later volumes.
Comparing the animation with the comic in terms of animation is kind of retarded, because the comic doesn't have animation at all, but I see what you are saying with "energy". As I said before, aachi and ssipak is as retarded as MTFZ but it has far more action or "energy" in other words.
Logan Johnson
I just think that the comic just has a better "flow". Aachi&Ssipak is on my to watch list anyway, so i'll take care of it this week. If you haven't seen Redline I encourage you to do so as well, as far as energy and animation go it's one of the best movies out there.
Hudson Edwards
I see what you are saying with flow. MTFZ is pretty good but I doesn't have a lot of action if you compare it with other action animated movies.
The thing with Aachi&Ssipak the argument is fucking retarded, like acid trip tier but the action scenes are awsome, the character designs reminded me to EE&E.
I think the movie is in youtube.
>Redline I'm not really into japanese animation, but I'll give it a try.
Liam Murphy
Do it. Redline is a really good cartoon about racing. I can say it’s a damn “Wacky Race” of anime world. But with tits. And guns. And sci fi.
Levi Evans
Also featuring a cool soundtrack. It's the result of one of the best action-oriented animation studios in japan locking themselves in for seven years to draw one of the coolest action movies ever made, and doing it all by hand, with no cgi.
oh so this is where these character comes from saw some porn of the black dude and the skull dude a while back and was wondering if they were just someone's oc or they came from somewhere
