Totally, both in aesthetics and powers could perfectly be a DC antagonist or even a hero. Same for every other MK character. They all are either street level fighters like anyone in the Batman series or mystics that go from low tier to God tier.
The same things works on the oposite direction, you could put Etrigan or Nightwing in MK and wouldn't feel out of place
