I downloaded the whole thing in french from libgen. I couldn't finish the last volume because I was fucking tired of reading it.
Some volumes are good. Others are utter garbage. This author has a bit of a habit of repeating shit and drawing it out.

Maybe some South Americans would know better what the true ending was.

The problem with this comic is that it got the messiest publishing history of any comic ever and I don't even think that by the end, the author really knew what was published in which language, order, or pretty much anything. I wouldn't be confident in the French edition being the actual complete and ordered story.

I think there was a Canadian release and Japanese release of the show.

Not that user, but I think the Spanish version isn't complete. It was originally published in Argentina with some success, enough to have an ongoing series with a few graphic novel-esque specials. I do think they continued the story in Italy and France, and don't quote me on this, but the Italian series is possibly the most complete one.
