I love that they put it right next to some real feet so that you can truly appreciate what you’re looking at.

I thought at first they were just stylized but then I saw Mr. Longname's feet next to him and realized, no, Plas' is just being himself again in the art.

Colors are fine. The actual issue is the pointless details littering the suit.
Why the zipper? Why the articulation in the boots and gloves? Why the pointless patterns in the stripes?

Spider-Man 2099 embraces THE FUTURE too much as a design motif but it works for the setting.

The re-design isn't bad, it's just worst than the original.

This design, plus a cape similar to the original, but maybe a bit more Phasma or Poncho-like, would be a God-Tier future suit.

It's not the classic Gorshin design, but we've seen some much worse Riddler designs over the years and it fits the show's take on the character as a cold, ethereal gamemaster.
The Batman has a lot of stuff that's rightly hated but I'll always defend how it portrayed Riddler, stupid Marilyn Manson design and everything, as an optimal take on the character.

I really don't see why people think this looks so awful at all.

I said as much that I don't defend The Batman as a whole and that it got a lot of things ass backwards that are hated for a reason in case you didn't read.
But watch the episodes starring The Riddler and you'll see a take on the character that's much better than the rep he usually gets in the comics, that manages to instill on him a genuine atmosphere and menace without making him unnecessarily edgy.
The design isn't good but it's not the worst Riddler design ever (see: King's Riddler or Batman Earth One) nor is it incongruent with the character of the show, and the knee-jerk reaction to it shouldn't earn a complete dismissal of everything else that makes this version of Riddler work so well, better than any other villain of the show.

I don't think it meshes well. I think they should have kept an overall military look, emulate Strange's robe and Cape with a trenchcoat and had the yellow gloves. That just looks like Cap in a bath robe
