Something is off about the whole situation. It could be that Globgor just swallowed Shastacan to better punish him later. So, when he was crystalized the MHC just claimed the king was eaten when in reality he is also imprisoned.

Because Star knows that Solaria made a spell that could easily destroy Rhombulus' crystals. Since Eclipsa is Solaria's daughter its very likely that she knows this as well.
Star can't risk Globgor being free until she knows the whole story and what he'll do when he's let out.

That would be a pretty good twist. The reason why Toffee could do what he did was because Moon hit him without killing him, and then it all boils down to the person who made the spell in the first place - Eclipsa.

All this sounds incredibly interesting and might give it a shot, but a lot of guys on these threads are fucking insane which makes me reconsider since something in this show attracts these wacky people.
