Way to out yourself as a retard. Colors can be used as visual shorthand to convey emotions, such as red used for anger or blue for sadness. You wouldn't give a shy, introverted character colors that pop and are in your face like reds or yellows, you would give them a more muted or cool color palette to convey their character better. In the case of Zee, she was given purple as a way to show her bombastic and dynamic attitude.
