Endgame SPOILERS full plot revealed

ACT 1
the movie opens with clint training with his daughter, before the snap takes effect and his family dies before his eyes.

tony and nebula are floating in space, tony uses some of nebula's cybernetic parts along with pieces of his own suit to keep the ship active. food, water, and oxygen are running low. with the last of his suit's power he transmits a message to pepper back on earth.

pepper receives tony's message and gets in contact with thor and rocket. pepper uses the rescue suit to travel into space with them on the guardians ship, they save tony and nebula. nebula and rocket confirm with each other that all of the other guardians are dead. pepper tells tony she's pregnant before they go back to earth.

meanwhile, the remaining avengers (cap, bruce, natasha, rhodes) meet up with captain marvel and explain that fury was killed in the snap. when the guardians ship arrives back on earth, tony and thor agree to take the fight to thanos. their plan is to take back the gauntlet and use it to undo the snap.

nebula knows where thanos is, she goes with the avengers (plus rocket and captain marvel) to new titan. thanos tells the avengers that it's pointless, that he did what was necessary. he also explains that even the infinity stones have limits, which is why he couldn't simply create more resources or expand the universe (for instance, the reality stone's effects wear off as soon as he stops focusing on them) and had no choice but to reduce the population.
another limit is that the gauntlet itself is now damaged from his use of all six stones at once, it can't contain their energy so any attempt to use it again will kill the user.

the avengers either don't believe him or don't care, and attack. thanos doesn't use any of the infinity stones during the following fight, just his own natural strength and skill. captain marvel fights thanos one on one for a little while, and she's able to hold her own and even briefly get the upper hand, but similar to hulk, he ends up turning the fight around and beating her down. war machine blasts thanos with the giant cannon (rocket and tony worked together to build it, based on the design from the collider beam from guardians 1) which stuns him. iron man, thor, captain marvel, rocket, and war machine all relentlessly blast him while he's down without giving him any chance to recover, to the point where he's almost incapacitated. realizing the avengers are on the verge of winning, thanos resolves to sacrifice his own life. he snaps his fingers again, using the gauntlet's power to erase all of the stones from existence. he laughs as the energy surge burns his whole body, like his arm was charred at the end of the last movie, and crumbles to dust.

the heroes couldn't save the universe, but they avenged it.

ACT 2

cut to one year later

most of the heroes have moved on. thor went to space to find the remaining asgardians (interestingly it's shown that populations which had already been decimated weren't affected by the snap), rocket and nebula go with him because they have nowhere else to go. tony and pepper are raising their new infant child, bruce has gone back into science and works for stark in an official capacity now that he's "cured." cap, natasha, and rhodes have gone back into military service (there was so much chaos after the snap that the sokovia accords were basically ignored), but cap still refuses to move on.

then one day ant-man shows up at avengers hq and everything changes. he reveals that he was able to travel through time to the quantum realm. he's devastated to learn that the pym family and his own daughter were all killed in the snap, however... while in the quantum realm he saw a vision of cassie as an adult, which leads him to realize the timeline can still be changed. tony realizes they can take the infinity stones from the past, before thanos destroyed them all. using hank pym's old designs, tony and bruce design the white armor, which allows the avengers to survive in the quantum realm. (this is where that "captain marvel can travel through time" theory comes from, she doesn't need the armor and can survive the quantum energies on her own. it *doesn't* mean that she can time travel at will, she still needs to go through the quantum portal like everyone else.) meanwhile, natasha goes to tokyo to recruit clint, who's become the vigilante ronin.

there are only two points in time when there were two infinity stones in one place outside of thanos' possession: the battle of new york (mind and space stones), and the battle of knowhere (power and reality stones). the avengers split into two teams, one for each battle. meanwhile, iron man goes to nidavillir, where he's able to design his own infinity gauntlet.

the first team (which is mostly the avengers who were in the first movie, plus ant-man) goes back to nyc during loki's invasion. bruce and the hulk end up encountering each other, and there's a strange moment of recognition between them. the heroes fight through chitauri to get to stark tower before their past counterparts arrive, they manage to steal loki's scepter and the tesseract. thor is also able to get mjolnir back from his past self. however, it's made clear that thanos was able to use the time stone to protect his own timeline, so the alterations made to the past can't actually change the present day. everything up until the moment thanos performs the snap is immutable, any changes they make to the timeline will revert as soon as they go back to the present.

the second team (which is mostly the newer space-based heroes) goes to knowhere and everyone fights ronan's forces, while also trying to convince the past guardians and the collector to part with the orb and the aether. nebula ends up fighting the guardians due to a misunderstanding, and she also fights her past self. rocket has a brief skirmish with his past counterpart, but it's not as serious. there's a lot of confusion but eventually they convince the collector to part ways with the stones by revealing that thanos decimates the population of knowhere, and tortures and possibly kills him.

>he also explains that even the infinity stones have limits, which is why he couldn't simply create more resources or expand the universe (for instance, the reality stone's effects wear off as soon as he stops focusing on them) and had no choice but to reduce the population.

Lol they really did want to shut people up about that.

in the present day, the avengers re-unite with four of the stones. they're able to somehow get the time stone from dr. strange, but for the soul stone, they have to go back to vormir before thanos got there. after facing the red skull, they realize they have to make a sacrifice, and red skull seems eager for one of cap's teammates to sacrifice him. instead, tony stark (sans armor) throws himself off the cliff, sacrificing himself and his life with his family. the fully armored iron man rises up, the soul stone in place of his arc reactor, his eyes suffused with the stone's orange glow. iron man dons his infinity gauntlet, all six stones in place.

ACT 3

they go back to the moment of the snap. however, the two sets of infinity stones cancel each other out, so neither can be used to full effect while the other is present. this creates a quantum paradox where the snap was both done and not done. iron man uses all of his concentration to keep thanos from using any of the infinity stones for lesser effects in battle, rendering him powerless aside from his natural powers as a titan. the other avengers attack while he's 'weakened', but thanos focuses most of his efforts on taking down thor, recognizing him as the greatest threat and knocking him out. he almost effortlessly takes down the human avengers like black widow.

yet captain america is able to lift mjolnir and fight thanos one on one. unlike hulk and captain marvel, it doesn't even seem like a close match. thanos repeatedly knocks him down, almost effortlessly, but cap keeps getting back up and fighting more, even when it's clear his bones are broken and he's bleeding to death. eventually, improbably, he hits thanos in the face hard enough to draw blood. in response, thanos strikes cap without holding back, instantly killing him.

cap's death triggers bruce's rage, and he becomes the hulk again, but this time retains his intelligence. bruce is able to become professor hulk due to his encounter with his past self, he realizes that the hulk isn't a separate personality, just the rage he's spent his whole life repressing. he talks about how the abuse he suffered as a child left him filled with anger, and how he was always afraid to show it because he feared becoming a monster like his father. but now, he realizes that there's a time for anger, and there are people who deserve to be the target of his rage.

hulk and thanos have a rematch, and once again, hulk's superior strength lets him get the upper hand for a moment, only for thanos to outmaneuver him by being faster and more skilled. but this time, it turns out to be a feint, hulk was pretending to be defeated in order to get the advantage of surprise. hulk completely beats down thanos, pummeling him until he's totally down and out.

hulk takes the infinity gauntlet off thanos' hand and uses it to destroy itself/merge the two gauntlets together, resolving the paradox. this permanently burns hulk's arm off, his healing factor can't regenerate it like normal. the other avengers are concerned that iron man will die from using the gauntlet, but he reveals that it's too late, he's already a "ghost in the machine" and the audience sees tony stark's body lying dead on vormir next to gamora's.

iron man gives a speech similar to the one where he used the infinity gauntlet in the comics, talking about how he's tempted to improve the world for the better, but he's learned to realize that you can't control everything. instead, he only uses the power to prevent the snap from occuring, send thanos somewhere he can never hurt anyone again (we see thanos back on new titan, left to live out the rest of his natural life alone and regretful, with the star system phased out of space and time so he can't leave and no one will ever find him), and destroy the stones once and for all. the iron man armor collapses to the ground, empty.

as the timelines converge, the past versions of the heroes who died end up disappearing, similar to how the decimation victims disappeared. the scene with peter and tony on titan plays out again, but in reverse, with peter begging mr. stark not to go. afterwards, the future versions of the survive heroes seem to merge with their past selves, retaining their memories of the alternate future and the injuries they've suffered.

we cut to a year later, when a memorial service is being held for cap and iron man. we see scott lang with cassie, clint with his family, and pepper with her child. after, we see captain marvel and war machine leading the new team of avengers (black widow, scarlet witch, and falcon, but not hawkeye, who goes back to retirement), thor leading the surviving asgardians to settle in norway, and the guardians adventuring in space with nebula taking up gamora's role.

in a mid-credits scene, we see stark tower under construction. it's similar to the end of the first avengers movie, except now instead of 'a' it's the letters 's' and 'r' remaining. as the construction crew puts new letters into place, we see it spell out the word 'osborn.'

in another mid-credits scene, we see thor and hulk on nidavillir, with what appears to be one of the arms of the destroyer (!!!) being grafted onto hulk.

finally, there's a scene showing a mysterious woman talking to someone who appears to be some kind of sorcerer. "i thought you were dead," he says. she explains that while his body died, his spirit lives on, and her outfits transforms into that of loki's.

>thinking disney would ever allow captain marvel getting beaten up
>Thanos losing a fight in the first third
>time travel bullshit
>lmao paradox
>cap lifts mjolnir but this somehow isnt how the fight ends
this is the worst fan fiction ive ever seen.

If this were real a lot of people would be disappointed.

>killing the big bad guy in the first climax

Yikes, nice try

So what, Banner gives a "world of cardboard" speech?

regarding captain marvel's defeat, i dunno how it'll actually look on screen, i doubt it'll be any kind of brutal no-holds-barred beatdown. but the film definitely goes almost out of its way to emphasize the fact that she can't beat thanos alone.

the time travel was literally in the trailers so idk why that's the part that you're doubtful about.

"if we can't protect the earth, then you can be damn sure we'll avenge it." the fact that killing thanos alone isn't enough to undo the snap is central to the plot.

a lot of these things seem better on screen than they sound in a summary. also i'm not sure how much of the exposition in the script actually makes it into the dialogue in the finished film, a lot of stuff about the particular details of the time paradox might be left for the audiences to intuit, not spelled out at length like this. the script for avengers 3 specified how thanos was using each stone in each scene but the movie itself didn't have thanos say "and now i'm using the power stone combined with the reality stone to accomplish this effect" because it would be forced and distracting.

basically

>pepper uses the rescue suit to travel into space
yeah, uptight and pregnant pepper potts will go to space. bullshit

>which is why he couldn't simply create more resources
stopped reading right there

this sounds kino as hell, so it won't be true

Thanos killing himself is one of the few stuff that's common in these "leaks" alongside with time travel, and it doesn't sounds fanboy-ish, so I'm inclined to believe it's legit.

Hulk losing an arm sounds like another because I know that they keep trying to reference the losing a limb thing from Star Wars.

>finally, there's a scene showing a mysterious woman talking to someone who appears to be some kind of sorcerer. "i thought you were dead," he says. she explains that while his body died, his spirit lives on, and her outfits transforms into that of loki's.

The appeal of MCU Loki is Tom Hiddleston, making him into a woman would fucking kill any interest the thirsty fangirls will have of him.

have someone like Ruby Rose play her, a woman that makes straight girls question their sexuality

So creating resources is impossible but literally killing off half the universe is possible? What a stupid explanation. I have to say that if they say he merely teleported them to another dimension, that would be alright

So Scarlet Witch, Vision, and Quicksilver cease to happen?

>pepper tells tony she's pregnant
She literally told him she wasn't. What a weird thing for to lie about when they're getting married.

Hulk losing an arm is retarded, him getting a fake one grafted on is beyond retarded because how the fuck is that shit gonna look when he henshins back to Banner?

Nice fan fiction, carefully put together from watching the trailers. But you messed several things;

> There's supposed to be a scene with all the characters together.
> They accept the deaths of their teammates and half of all life way too easily.
> Infinity War foreshadowed Wanda and Vision retiring.

Yeah, I've seen another variation of it where Nebula kills Thanos instead, and another one where Thanos fakes out his death, found out about Avengers' plan, and proceed to attack them at the HQ

nah, the changes they make to the battle of new york and the battle of knowhere don't stick, they're not "real" because glorbl glarbl timey wimey gobbledygook

How have you seen the movie

Disney is known for using fake scripts on big projects like Marvel and Star Wars to prevent leaks. it's pretty clear that there's some confrontation with Thanos in the first third of the movie, but I've heard multiple variants of how it turns out. Thanos kills himself, gets killed by Nebula, gets decapitated by Thor, fakes his own death, etc.

none of these people have seen the movie. if their info is legit, it's because they've read the shooting scripts. but again, even if they're not just outright making stuff up, they might still be wrong because Disney uses decoy scripts to prevent exactly this sort of thing, which is why there are so many variants of similar events.

>> Infinity War foreshadowed Wanda and Vision retiring.
they basically confirmed Heimdall and Vision stay dead. they were a little more ambiguous on Gamora and Loki, but I'm 95% sure everyone who died before the snap is going to stay dead.

It is 2019, you bigot. Pregnant women to the rescue.

iirc the Infinity War leaks before were mostly legit (even spoil the Red Skull cameo), but none of them got the third act right

this might be a similar situation? I'm noticing that all of these leaks more or less agree about the first two acts, with some minor differences here and there, but the third act is radically different in all of them. so the spoilers about the first two-thirds of the movie are probably accurate, at least in the broad strokes, but I'd be skeptical about everything after the Avengers return from their time travel missions. specifically we don't know if they'll actually go back to Vormir, who if anyone will be sacrified, where the final battle will actually take place, or exactly what the outcome will be. that said, the parts about Cap dying and Hulk losing an arm are likely true.

> Vision turns white when Thanos takes the stone, a blatant reference to the souless Vision from the comics.

> Vision gets rebooted by Shuri at the end of the movie, but the process fails miserably as he ends up with all his memories but has no emotions.

screenrant.com/avengers-infinity-war-fake-scripts/

You can deduce the first act to some extent by paying close attention to the trailers (Cap has no beard at the support group, for example), and Carol clearly meets the Avengers before Scott.

the Act One confrontation with Thanos isn't in any of the trailers, yet it's a consistent point in virtually all of the leaks, even if the details vary. that leads me to think that there's some validity to the leaks, with the differences and the lack of clarity about the third act explained by incomplete and/or fake scripts.

Fuck your fanfic

I am very confident this is the opening:
> Movie opens with Clint on his farm. His family is erased.
> Then cuts to contented Thanos on his farm.

The duality/contrast of all-powerful Thanos on his farm, and ordinary family man Clint on his farm, is too juicy a thematic connection to ignore.

You know....fuck it
I hate Iron Man but he earned this moment

why does anyone need spoilers for generic superhero movies?

the good guys fight the bad guys and win. The end.

Shouldn't you be on your home board discussing Alita kino?

> yeah, uptight and pregnant pepper potts will go to space
The summary sounds like bullshit but Pepper was wearing a iron man suit in the endgame set pics.
