I always saw her as bi with a preference for women. Men always found her attractive and she rebuked a lot of their advances and I recall a particular comic in which she gets angry at Tony for flirting with her and she tells him that she doesn't like men flirting with her and that they didn't understand that she was different from other women. She was also fine with Cloud being a woman but then got a bit freaked out when Cloud turned into a man (so did Iceman, lol).
She also tells Marlo her relationship with men have been disastrous and IMO I think Wendell was probably the best one she had with a man. Bendis also said she had a relationship with Venom Flash in the Secret Wars tie-in Guardians of Knowhere comic but he said it in his tumblr and the only indication of that in the comics was having Flash be angry that she died but he never really did anything with that since she died off panel and then he died off panel.
Anyway she's with Phyla now but doesn't mean she's not bi, she's just with a woman.

This storyline just makes me want a team with Quasar, Nova, Captain Marvel, and some of the Cosmic badasses but it would be Annihilators all over again and I don't trust many writers now to do it justice.

For sure, I'm completely okay with her being with Phyla, I simply remember a time when she was more independent and didn't seem tied to to Phyla's hip. Basically they're an inseparable couple for better or worse, and clearly they don't know how to write either of them properly, their personality is "lesbian power couple". When she was an Avenger she definitely had a lot of range.
That would be really cool but yeah, I don't know if I can trust the current writers who are doing cosmic to try their luck with that. Either they'd be needlessly edgy or downright boring and mischaracterized.

It's a similar thing with Billy and Teddy except the writers tend to care more about Billy than Teddy and Teddy is just there.
Phyla and Heather definitely had more personality in PAD's run and in Annihilation.
Yeah I like the art, better than Capullo's current DC stuff but to be fair that might also be the shitty digital coloring.
Capullo's Wendell has always been who I picture Wendell to be when I think of the character. Luke Skywalker hair shaggy and boyish looks, it's easy to see why he's so likeable.

to anyone who loved starjammers, few facts
- they were supposed to have an ongoing, but Cockrum had some second thoughts, and it never really happened, albeit it should, it certainly would be better than GOTG
- you also should check Futurians, it's basically a team of unused / rejected X-Men / Avengers concepts, but it's really really sweet old fashioned capeshit with quality. Also, imagine that we were this close for Futurians to be part of Marvel universe, but again, Cockrum had second thoughts. He later regretted it, but it was too late I guess
Overall, keep in mind that Cockrum designed both Ms. Marvel and Binary, and both costumes were iconic. In other words, please worship Dave Cockrum

This is indeed pretty useful to track down all the appearances of certain characters, I use it rather often. It's only spotty when it comes to "groups" and not members of said groups, so you have to look for both things just in case.
Another one is the Wikia, but comicbookdb has a better interface despite being older.
