I'd like to think it would be like, a series of one-shots with the travelling protagonist visiting different settlements and cultures, observing and helping to resolve conflicts and etc. Maybe most of Prime's friends have retired, moved up the ladder, or passed away, while he's travelling around making sure the next generation is doing well. A generation free from war, such that they can't recognize a legend and a relic like him. A perfect chance to showcase fellows outside of core G1. Like the Japanese continuity, Unicron trilogy, toy-only guys like the turbomasters, and underrated/overlooked fellows like pretenders or action masters, etc. It'd be like a commercial for toys that didn't sell a few decades ago.

I mean... I personally don't blame them for it? I'm not even mad, after 12 years of films I feel it's been well established that the first time a character gets a toy, it fucking sucks. My guess is it has to do with designs changes and such , which seems to be the case here, as I bet Bee's door wings were removed very late in the game. It's always the second run of the character that does it better. The new Dropkick I already think seems much better than the other. And I would personally hope that in 1-2 years Hasbro gives the Bee movie bots' another chance. A new Bee would be much better second time around I'd feel, same for Shatter. At least for her jet mode.

RotF Starscream was decent, it just had one major flaw: robot hands sticking out of the back of the jet due to budget cuts, seriously, the prototype didn't have that problem. (Funny how they stopped giving a fuck about that, Jesus, Windblade) The fact is, Leader Starscream btfos him so hard, the other Starscreams become irrelevant. Until SS, that is.

Starscream is marginally better than the '07 one, but still not great, especially with his doofy legs and stumpy arms. Ravage has a good bot mode but his alt mode was barely even that. At that point why have a transformer, he should have been in the Robot Replicas line at the time. Wheelie could be better than I remember but I recall not being happy with him when I was younger. Could just be a design thing.

Definitely disagree. I don't think toys are capable of "so bad it's good", as it takes on a whole new meaning in hand as you can't mess with it or do anything with it. You can have guilty pleasure figures (I for one take that with Universe Galvatron, terrible figure but I still like him), but Demolisher and Mixmaster aren't even fun. Demolisher you can't do shit with you can only keep him in that one single pose, and Mixmaster has the entire front of the cab for an ass.

Yeah I don't think I would either myself now that I see that. RTS definitely was more CHUG in my opinion, but I can understand why some simply called the line TF 2010.
As for Tomahawk, had him, thought he was awesome with a fun transformation. More helicopters would be a welcome change for me. Dropkick's current SS does kinda suck for a Dropkick, but as a helicopterformer, I think he's pretty fun.

Funny that they really got violent with the Bayformers. My parents were somewhat like that but had no issues with Transformers. Since those were robots they didn't mind it was anime. Didn't get into collecting until 2007, however.

Nah 3P can take time and it was only shown at the tail end of 2017. For comparison, MakeToys revealed their Jetfire and Galvatron at the same time (G1 stylized, not Cybertron). Jetfire just came out and Galvatron is still in prototype stage.

Spike is p kino. Bee graduated from the audience surrogate alongside Spike with the latter starting a family. It was a bit subtle having Bee and Spike on the moonbase in the kino, but it was a really nice touch. Bee was Spike's best man and nobody can say anything to convince me otherwise.

As much as Bay said he wanted his transformer movies to have a realistic sense of scale(apparently all of the transformers robot designs were made to have as little matter displacement as possible, which led to Starscream being the big dorito boi he is), it seems like it got out of hand and failed to have a unified aesthetic for the movies. I mean, why are some cybertronians so much bigger than others? Why are some shaped so weirdly when others are vaguely humanoid?
Also, what would Minicons look like on this scale? Chest high to a human? Head shorter?

I'm using the Bumblebee scale for my own writing(im the dude with the Power Rangers idea for Titans lmao) and was thinking of making them 1.5 meters(imperial a shit), which is about 5 foot 5, so they'd be manlets. This way, they could still be "mini" even to the smallest cybertronian(like bee, who stands only 3 and a half meters tall).
And as I said in my other post, I really like this scale because it seems like it's much more interactive. The bayformers felt too colossal, like they were removed from the situation in spite of being a vital part of it.
