Yes. It seems pretty neat, and I'm interested in seeing how Seth gets changes as the story goes on since you said he is every dumb shoenen tripe rolled into one, which is true, but he's not the most annoying Shoenen protag out there. Does he get better or worse?

He gets much better. It's his idea to target the Radiant (the thing spawning all the Nemesis and general source of all suffering in the setting) as without taking it down, the cycle of destruction will perpetuate endlessly, he hides the fact that he can do backhanded magic from the Inquisition instead of running about boasting like an idiot, he figures out broom-riding quite quickly to keep up with everyone else, he learns a couple of basic but well-needed spells early enough, etc.
There's a reason why the first volume is the worst of the lot. As the story goes on, Seth continuously defies the kind of pitfalls that fuck over other shonen heroes, and actually shows the kind of general tactics, intelligence, and skill management you'd expect of someone like Clark Kent instead of your average shown protag.

Seth is too much of a fuck up and still wants to do things on his own which is irritating. If he had a bit more common sense and didn't make things worse then his saving the day would feel better rather than him fixing a problem that he contributed to. And the dialogue quirks waste too much time like the stuff with the quartet and that merchant that kept making up stuff and overreacting. Stuff like that's best in small doses, not taking up a panel every page.
But it's still interesting.

This is pretty interesting from an artstyle standpoint. Most manhua and manhwa look kinda odd to me since they bite the generic anime artstyle but end up looking like knockoffs.
This one is way different though. If you handed this to me without telling me it was from france, I would immediately assume it was a legit manga.
