It's really just alright. The humor is hit or miss. I went into this show with absolute lowest expectations. I thought it'd be another characters are so mean to each other isn't it funny show. But was pleased that the characters are actually quite nice to each other. Though I've only seen 7 episodes so far.

It aired during the transition from action shows to comedy shows. The first season aired during the action phase of television so it was written off by the action viewership.
Season 2 aired during the comedy phase, but by this point, it was written off as a pretty shit show.

First (random) episode I checked out years ago was the basketball one and it was so bad that I decided to not bother with the show at all.
After months and months passed I was so bored I decided to give it another try, from the start this time.

There's nothing to watch, I find myself rewatching Clerks the animated series and Megas XLR. I hate how nepotism rules the cartoon industry and we're stuck with friends of friends getting shitty shows greenlit and we have to eat up the slop. Kyle is an excellent character creator, he can whip up designs and personalities that work out perfectly.
But he is a subpar comedy writer. He has a lot of trouble trying to imitate classic toon style or gags. He has been in the business for years but his stuff still looks really amateurish. Like this is his first time ever writing and directing anything animated, which we know it's not. He cannot really come up with situations and has a LOT of trouble with timing and dialog.
