Unpopular Opinions: Disney Edition
Quack Pack was amazing
Beauty and the Beast is the worst renaissance movie.
Frozen is an objectively good film
Liking The Little Mermaid as one of your favorite Disney films is a very good sign you’re basing off nostalgia and not film quality
Disney seems to want to kill their 2D movies.
The newer CGI films don't have the charm and don't age as well as their 2D animated movies. They keep remaking movies like Beauty and the Beast and Aladdin in live action and tweaking the stories to get rid of "problematic" bits. In a few years, when kids think of the Lion King, they're not going to remember the animated version, they'll think of the live action version.
Disney movies are overrated as fuck.
The best media Disney ever made are, in ascending order: Kim Possible, Gravity Falls, and W.I.T.C.H.
I feel like Mickey could do well if they gave another shot at a video game or cartoon series more involving 'his' world built up in Disney comics, the way Donald and Scrooge get Ducktales stuff to show Duck comics stuff off.
aladdin is the worst disney movie, and one of the worst ever. it's also the best
Donald needs to be paired more with the Caballeros then with Mickey and Goofy. The interactions and contrasts are so much better and natural and he feels a bit awkwardly forced into the Mickey gang due to being popular
Maybe not unpopular on Yea Forums but unpopular elsewhere
I hate everything Stitch related. Everything.
Mickey's already doing well with his current shorts
I'm willing to concede happily re: Mickey, just thinking more a straight action-adventure series, unless the shorts have tilted into that from 'just' comedy.
No aristocats in this picture? what the fuck is this shit
Mickey detective show like the comics please
This so fucking much please
Goofy>Mickey>Donald
They're all good but I'm not the biggest Donald fan myself
Felix the Cat is a better character than Mickey Mouse.
The problem there is that we're culturally so far removed from those comics of yore that most people will expect Mickey to be safe and happy like in his normal modern persona, so they'll either cry about him being "not much Mickey" or they'd have trouble taking serious any attempt at more a adventurous take on his character. Just look at DC's Flintstones comic where most people dismissed it either for not being entirely safe puns like they remember or written off as being a soulless cash grab without ever giving it a chance. Though I suppose if anyone could pull it off and still get people to watch it would be Disney.
Long been my dream series
Mickey is preferred but even if he can’t be used for “ruining his image” swap him out for Oswald or someone more obscure from the comics
Jake Long and Penn Zero deserve more love
The Aristocats and Robin Hood were shit
Sofía is the Best Princess
Shnookums and Meat is one of the most underrated Disney cartoons of all time.
Lilo & Stitch is the best Disney film of the past 40 years
Heaven's Light is at least as good as Hellfire if not better
Aladdin was a dry run for the vastly superior Road to El Dorado
Dropped on your head as an infant?
The Toy Story 4 trailer was good and so was the Aladdin trailer.
I think Disney is severely underutilizing the Kingdom Hearts IP and the whole "we'll only do it with Nomura's blessing" part that the company embraced is doing more harm than good.
Aurora is a more interesting character than Snow White or Cinderella.
Mulan and The Hunchback of Notre Dame were better than Beauty and the Beast and the Lion King.
Frozen is better than Tangled.
Pocahontas was a great movie.
disneypornland was the most visited disney site in my youth
The Black Cauldron is a classic and needs much more love.
Goofy is superior than Mickey, His Old school cartoons Are much better and funnier than Mickey's. Donald is second when it comes to his personality and attitude compared to mickey's.
You can be not-gay and still enjoy disney movies
Is that what it takes to avoid NPCness these days
Pocahontas has a good soundtrack and art style but other than that it is such a fucking nothingburger
>Lilo & Stitch is the best Disney film of the past 40 years
This.
>I hate everything Stitch related. Everything.
You... might be a little sick in the head. Try a therapist.
