Holly and Ross split due to LA being a really shitty place, where the majority of their day was spent in traffic, or having to deal with the aspects of LA you see on the news; homeless crisis, rent up the ass, everything is expensive, crime, lack of jobs, etc.
She had some major mental health issues due to heavy childhood abuse from her mother, and figured life would be better up north. Ross's only talent/maketable skill is animation, so due to the way the industry is, he is anchored to LA. He kept the cats, and the split was ammicable. Still, he was bummed for months. Arin and Danny even put him on the show to try and make him feel better.

because LA is the hub of the animation world, other than Korea. Arin moved to LA to work in animation, before game grumps was even a thing. This was back when JobTron was still a newbie. I think Julian make have also been in therapy from his own childhood shit, or due to his parents asking for loans - which is apparently a common theme with the lot.

The reason why his personality and DD played off so well is because they could follow each others cue's very well. They didn't try to overstep their boundaries (though there are many exceptions). It's why Julian sometimes, though he has some good quips and questions, ends up being stamped out. Same with Lyle (though he seemed to elbow his way into the conversation while Julian knew when to add in).
Reminds me of a Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis routine. Not because they're that funny, they never will be, but because they can go into full madness at a moment's notice.

Julian was one of the best third guys of Let's Play channels. He always kept the conversation moving, usually knew when to keep shtum, and could be funny himself sometimes. Too many channels think everyone needs to just be funny even if they're ill-suited to it.

He was posting crazy shit, then deleteing it right after. Was going on about not doing animation work/voice work and was writing a cook book instead. Gang members were coming to his house due to his druggie lady friend. I think he may have just deleted the account outright.

Julian was the perfect third wheel. He laughed at everything and made the whole listening to let's plays less sad for me to admit to myself.
