I don't mean the design, but why the fuck does he keep wearing the stupid shirt after getting the kryptonian suit? Why doeshe wear it only sometimes?
Even taking into account the confusing time jumps, there's a scene where he's talking to the JLA all suited up about earlier that day and he was wearing a white shirt.

Years later after a series after using a new power (Solar flare) and getting the doomsday virus he got his secret identity exposed by lois lane and lost some of his powers. Including flight. He was also much weaker. His suit was destroyed and he wore the suit in my first post. It was actually an interesting arc.

First off, kys. Second of all, the outfit kept coming back because fans liked it and artists liked to draw it.
The picture in OP happened because Superman lost most of his powers and was more like Steve Roger's level of strength. Plis he couldn't fly anymore. He had to go on the run, so he hopped a bike and put on the old shirt and jeans.

I don't need it. I'm not bothered by it either. I was just a couple years old when the first movie came out, so I have nostalgia tied to the oval, but personally I prefer the plain black bat on the grey suit, but I also thought Capullo giving it a yellow outline was a clever inspired concept.

I am the opposite on this matter, I loved how Sharp drew the boots as you see them in pic related.
The changes I would make are extending the boots to thigh high level, and extending some cloth from the gauntlets like on the JL-War suit.
Maybe giving her the new 52 choker & the JMS gauntlets.

Trunks and yellow sheild on the cape was better for Clark, if I’m being honest.
However the Rebirth suit definitely looks good, even the blue boots version looks great when it’s drawn dark blue and metallic-like.
I feel that it fits more with a matured Jon and Conner, personally. If DC ever allowed Conner to move on naturally and take the mantle like Dick did with Batman, it would be pretty cool.

CW costume department is overall shit, but Killer Frost Outfit is so fucking good. It's not some overdesigned piece of shit latex/spandex leotard/catsuit with some ridicoulus patterns all over it, and It's not a shitty uninspired leather Jacket or Coat with an atrocious Domino Mask that they tend to overuse. instead It's just an outfit that you could walk around in real life if you wanted to and It's still manages to look beautiful and eye catching, really fits Her character
