DCAU, without question.

Which DCAU?
This one?
youtube.com/watch?v=yc2jSv6FOQE

DCAU, absolutely.

Nobody outside US cared about the DCAU so the mcu

The rest of the world also like the shittiest Transformer movies so their opinion is invalid.

fight fight quip quip quip explosion quip quip

Why are you comparing cartoons to live action movies?
DCAU > Marvel
MCU > DC movies

Nolan trilogy >>> Raimi trilogy >>>>>>>>>> MCU movies >>>>>>>>>>>>>>> DCU movies

The DCAU and it's not even close

DCAU, easily.

DCAU ofcourse

>The MCU because the characters are more relatable than the gods from DC

the worst part of the nolan trilogy was the superhero part.

Based Marvel has the better everythin

The only thing DC is better than Based Marvel at is losing money

They also liked Aquaman

>I-if I attach a meme picture to it that means it's not true
Face it DKek your Mary Sue's are superpowers first and characters dead last

Look, I like that movie, but the ending was a total cop-out. All of the moral ambiguity and legitimate questions about whether it's okay to take a life were thrown out the window when The Elite went full on badguy towards the end. It didn't resolve everything; the story just glossed over the very questions it brought up so Superman could win and the status-quo could be restored.

The DCAU by a tremendous margin, but this is kind of unfair. TV series have an inherent advantage over movies in that they have much more time to build up their characters, world, and overarching plot. Compare the overall runtime of the DCAU to that of the MCU.

That’s an unfair comparison to make. You can’t equate an animated series to a high budget film series

>Storytelling
>Budget
How are these in any way related?

China liked Aquaman and disliked CM. i say they have the only opinion that matters

Is this even a fair comparison? This is like saying "Which had better stories, the X-Men animated series or the movies?"

China liked the resident evil movies too

>China
>Opinion that matters

>implying americans care about the DCAU
This is like saying Raven is popular just because an autistic minority of waifufags post raven porn all the time. No one cares about Raven.

I didn’t say that, you dunce. Your reading comprehension sucks. The point being is that why would you compare a series of live action films to an animated show? Both have different narrative constraints and advantages

You mean Sonic ISN'T the most popular franchise in history? I have to call Paramount before it's too late

Uh, yeah. You kinda did. The question was, "Which has told better stories? The DCAU or the MCU?" And you replied "You can’t equate an animated series to a high budget film series" Why would you even bring up budget if you weren't trying to imply that it had an impact on storytelling?

Whatever makes you cope with your suicidal tebdencies. Laddercuck

huh?

Just because you can't equate them doesn't mean you can't compare aspects of them.

EMH was one of the best action series of all time but it's no fair comparing it to JL/U.

OP was talking about the MCU, you dummy >:(

Based

Your comparison is whats stupid. Its too general.
which part of DCAU are you talking about? The tv shows? The animated movies? Make it specific.

And maybe user wants to talk EMH, the superior of the two.

You're replying to the wrong guy user, I just wanted to butt in to point that out.

DCAU, but not by much.

yeah, realised that too late. point still stands though. this is a retarded thread

>Actually believing this

I never cared much for the DCAU. BTAS was amazing, Beyond was great, the Superman show was fun too, everything afterwards was a step back for me, and then there's occasionally actively stupid shit like the Terry's origins retcon

Your right.

It's better by miles

Because I was describing what it was? That’s it. Don’t overthink it. Episodic vs film is a retarded comparison.

What about the MCU, m8

>Nolan trilogy
The Dark Knight is the only one people care about.

I like Begins more desu

It's a dumb comparison. If i really had to say something then i guess the shows i mentioned maybe have some higher highs, but the MCU so far has also been more consistently enjoyable to me compared to the DCAU as a whole with it's weaker shows and movies. But again, i don't care for these pissing contests

To clarify, I meant better than the MCU. the DCAU still stands tall above it.

>DCAU or the MCU?

In one these movies women with 3 thousand years of age who use the same hairstyles and clothes and did not stay smarter even living 3 thousand years
Who tells the best stories?

>comparing a dc action cartoon to marvel's live action movie franchise
My interpretation is better and OP is an idiot and should go back to Yea Forums.

Why do people pretend the post JLU movies and shows are part of the DCAU?

oh okay

Yes.

They're apples and oranges. I like both.

I never got that expression. I prefer oranges over apples, it really isn't hard to compare the two.

The point is that you're comparing things with fundamentally different attributes, tastes and styles to the point where any comparison would be made irrelevant and entirely subjective rather than any tangible observation of quality.

I get what it means, I just don't get why they use two pieces of sweet fruit to try and prove that point. Maybe if it was potatoes to peppers or something it'd add up, but you can definitely compare oranges and apples.

Not really. Apples are crunchy, solid, can be eaten right away without any exertion of effort. To say that they're easily comparable to oranges is jumping the gun a bit

Ofc there are differences, but it didn't take much thought to figure out which of the two I like better. Wouldn't that pretty much be impossible if there was no way to compare the two?

I do agree with you but I look at it as more of a story about Clark himself than the moral ambiguity and stuff.

The question is who has the better stories not which is more famous.

ESL or Brain Damage?

Literally no one does this. At least not for anything other than BM&HQ or JLvsFF. Unless you meant this user but he was obviously joking.

DCAU, it's not even up to debate. The MCU complete fails to do anything interesting with its characters past Phase 1. WS and GotG1 are the sole exceptions
The DCAU actually had lots of worldbuilding and interesting character interactions

You used a dumb qualifier and then got on my case about reading comprehension. I agree with your base point about it being dumb to compare film and tv shows but you're still retarded.

Eeeehh no
Begins is best batman movie
Dark knight is the best joker movie
Rises is a banes movie

DCAU easily.

Begins is not even top 3 batman film
