The first episodes moved way too fast and couldn't land jokes properly, then it got a lot better.

watched a the first season and though it was pretty good.
Watched a few episodes of the second season and thought the quality dropped pretty hard. Vambre just turned into a violence asshole and Prohyas just turned into a idiot.
maybe they fixed it it later episodes, but I hadn't had the chance to actually watch the newer episodes.

Man, I really liked this show, and I thought the first season was really good. Then I saw this image, and realized how hard they applied it to the second season; really just reducing the characters to well below what they were.
Kinda glad it ended, because it was on a downward trend, especially with that fucking OK KO plug in the final episode.

I couldn't get into it because the pacing was fucked and the jokes never landed for me. I heard the people working on the show listened to feedback and fixed things in the next season.
Then I saw the flowchart for the episode order. But I probably wouldn't have bothered anyway.

it was a bit of fresh air between standard shows but I can't stand Kyle's style. I used to follow him on deviantart 10 years ago and he hasn't improved one bit. As much as he claims to hate john k his art expresses absolute devotion to him; even Nico Colaleo managed to make his art more of its own thing.

I really liked it, yeah the pace was really fast, but that gave it a lot of charm and I liked a lot of the jokes. Plus ya got used to it and it did improve. It really helped I like ALL the characters, which is really rare for me to say about a show.
I also jsut appreacite it was so different from everything else on CN, I got so burnt out on "DEEPEST LORE" it was just nice to have a show that just wanted to be simple and fun.
Vambre is fucking waifu for lifu. That voice man. Those hips man.
