Much like Wonder Woman, it's not that he doesn't have a rogues gallery it's that no one uses them. Gentleman Ghost gets the most play and people think he's a Batman villain.

She unironically has one of the best craziest out there rogues, on par with Flash. But no one uses them so filthy casuals like you can meme this shit
I'll tell you why. Most of the good ones come from the Silver Age, so they were never edged out, could with the fact that they flip flop between Katar and Carter means that the themes of thier respective stories will fluctuate.
Then, we now have Carter, who's runs always revolve around the reincarnation gimmick. Look at Venditti's Hawkman run, no Rouges have shown up yet.
It's abysmal because his rouges are pretty slick, but no one wants to write about a Hawkman who just fights crime. Instead we get the 200th mention of reincarnation.
Why writer can't decide which Hawkman use?

Fixed Hawkman. Katar's boring. Apart from Hawkworld, Thanagar only exists in the backdrop of DC's dilapidated cosmic region.

To be fair, the only Hawkman that really "failed" was Savage Hawkman. Silver Age Katar was around for 30 years.
True, but consider the fact that his on going never was a big seller, whereas Carter's last run went on to 50 issues.

The current run is 10 issues in and already at cancellation numbers. That's worse than even Savage Hawkman. Not that sales numbers mean anything in regards to how good the story is. I think this run is pretty great and obviously it's doing terribly.

Hawkworld Katar died a tragic death of people trying to unsnarl the Hawksnarl. He was too pure for this Earth.
He tends to kill most of his enemies.
I'm going to be honest, i fucking hate what Venditti has been done to the lore and would be happy if Snyder retconned it.
Scott Snyder actually wanted to do a Hawkman and DC said no. Imagine that. We could have a long-running Hawkman series that actually sells.

Dark Metals was essentially Scott Snyder pitching a Hawkman and Hawgirl comic that dwelt with the origin of the DCU, with him wanting Carter to be most well-connected character and important character in DC. Didio told him no because no one cares about Hawkman, so he turned it into a Batman centric event and tried to insert as much of his ideas about Hawkman as possible.
I think the better question is "why don't you read comics, you faggot OP?"
