Is Miraculous Ladybug any good?

No. Literally the only reason to watch it is shipping

I like shipping

Only it's porn is good.

Yes. Very lewd too.

No. Watch a better show.

>false advertising

Does it have any cute males?

Yeah

>Is Miraculous Ladybug any good?
God yes.

This is supposed to be a kids show, right? What's the context for this (keeping it as spoiler free as possible)

Also even if it happens no way the shot is that tight right?

Yes

>Forgetting all the latex...

True
>This is supposed to be a kids show, right?
Yes - French kids.

>What's the context for this (keeping it as spoiler free as possible)
Relationship mistakes after another mistake.

>Also even if it happens no way the shot is that tight right?
It is even tighter and last episode set a new record.

Writing is okay; pretty...girly I guess?

The animation and art direction is actually pretty damn great for a tv show.

Wouldn't call it great, but fun to have on in the background while doing other stuff.

I also second this question.

I want to watch it, but all the threads I glance at lead to shipping and I don't give two squirts of a used tampon about shipping.

Attached: 1544674355839.png (420x420, 216K)

Probably not for you then.

As said, the writing ism't bad per se, but very basic.

It's a show to watch for the animation and/or shipping late clad teens.

There's one and he sounds like James from Pokemon.

Ok, post an example of one

>The animation and art direction is actually pretty damn great for a tv show.
Also increasingly fetishistic.

Nothing wrong with that.

Yeah if you're fucking queer. If not, you will be

why does this turn me on

The opinion of any fan of Miraculous on what is a better show is instantly invalidated.

>Twinkie little blonde teen in latex and cat ears
Can't image why mate

the lewdest

I know why he turns me on, I mean why does that oversized sweater make me diamonds

Makes you use your imagination.

Define good. It's not great in terms of the setting, story writing etc. but it's cute, has a fun ship, some decent action, and kawaii characters!

Dunno mate, I know there's something about dudes liking girls in big sweaters

Indeed!

Part of the plan perhaps?

Define "good".

I think it's better Western Anime than Avatar The Last Airbender. ATLA turned into a overbloated corpse in S3.

It's a solid riff of Sailor Moon and the magical girl formula and there is so much love put into this show. Its also a very simple show, which means it's consistent. Season 3 has been amazing so far.

>Everyone fixated on the Ladybug and the Cat

You guys know there are other characters on the show right?

Like this reporter that Cat Noir "totally" did not hit on on live TV.

How long before Nathalie and Gabriel kiss already? Stop teasing and lock lips.

Nino's in trouble, but it's the good kind of trouble.

Cute characters, shipping and some fetish bait are the main draws. There is some lore and backstory but the episodes that progress that are rare. Every episode has the same formulaic structure where the supervillain turns some upset person into a villain, they try to capture the source of the heroes powers, the heroes use their special powers to stop the villain at the last minute, they free the akuma, they undo everything the villain did, they say their little catchphrases, they have to leave before their powers stop working, etc.

>Fetish bait

That's putting it mildly, lol.

Attached: Cat Noir Kite2.png (1732x1020, 1.55M)

Is a formula so bad? I think the formula is the shows strength. Once you have a solid formula and the basics down you can play with it more like they have been doing in S3. The episode where the shows creator got Akumatized was great, and they wouldn't have been able to get away with breaking the fourth wall like that in my opinion if they didn't stay true to their formula and the reality of the show so to speak.

It's...mixed. The writing and characterization is pretty generic "Saturday morning cartoon" type of show. But the animation and character design is top-notch. It has this weird almost quirky charm to it that you don't see a lot nowadays. Also, if you like shipping then you'll like this.

Forever. But she will enjoy watching Gabriel and Emilie kissing when she wakes up.

Then Nathalie gets rewarded for her loyalty.

>Gabriel wants Emelie
>Nathalie wants Gabriel
>Emelie wants Nathalie

Natalie will have a permission to lick Gabriel and Emilie love juices from Emilie's body as a reward.

It's definitely what I want to happen.

Instead of the predictable, "third wheel of the love triangle gets thrown under the bus", Nathalie is instead accepted into the couple's bed.

Her faith is rewarded instead of punished.

You have to already be a weeb to enjoy it.

It's currently the best animated show in the world. Better than American cartoons and better than the current top anime of the day, especially the waifus.

(Yes, I know it would reward the villain for villainy. This is an alternate timeline where it all works out for the trio. Gabrel brings back Emelie without anyone figuring out how he did it, and they all hook up).

Also won prize

Ditto for anyone who's a fan of loli rock

Thank you user. Now I need to look for something else.

>Writing is girly.

I’d call it juvenile. In a time when we have and had action adventure cartoons with deeper storytelling, Miraculous Ladybug is one big formulaic tease.

I really wish I was the writer for the show. There are so many side characters who could be fleshed out.

But no, let's copy the "Sailor Moon" formula from the bloody 1990s and pretend no one notices how rusty and decrepit it is in 2019.

This is a show so formula, it doesn't even take advantage of the fact it has two traps in 2019.

>"Is our relationship actually going to go anywhere?"
>"No. We're just going to be in one episode of significance and then Astruc will hope no one noticed the chemistry between us."

Attached: Marc Nathaniel 2.jpg (1024x616, 44K)

>Marc clearly wearing lip gloss and arguably rouge
literally built for dickings

It's probably the only show with a masculine Trap (Nathaniel) AND a feminine Trap (Marc).

>implying there's any boy in this show who qualifies as "masculine"

Attached: miracleHaremBois.png (600x600, 431K)

And as usual, the fanbase fails to notice.

No, it's too repetitive for its own good.
There just isn't any real narrative or plot development of any kind.
The show is too afraid to develop anything beyond the monster of the week formula.
Side characters are completely pointless and only serve to be said monster of the week.

They have been experimenting with the formula this season. You have to have a formula in the first place if you're going to experiment.

So you don't think the last episode had any character development??

They seem....rather close here.

>You have to have a formula in the first place if you're going to experiment.
t. Astruc

sounds like you only watched the first season

The side-characters are only pointless because the show refuses to do anything with them.

MARINETTE CHANG IS FOR _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _.

Attached: 1374723085009.jpg (2514x1324, 528K)

It's good.
Not great, but it is good.

>repetitive monster of the week
>no progress on the heroes or villains except one episode every season
>Ladybug nearly causes each monster to be born only to resolve it with Cait Noir.
>Ladybug has the stupid repeating "bye bye little butterfly" and "de-evilizer" for each defeated monster

So much potential for it to be shit.

user!!!

You forgot the Mary sueish MC, the plot holes, deus ex machina powers, unsatisfactory action scenes, stiffy animation and lack of anatomic proportions, relentless and shameless marketing, awful releasing schedule, copycat script from sailor moon, lack of backgrounds and extras, yass kween slayy vibe and a faggoty, condescending manchild with borderline pedo issues as the creator. But this, mostly

Miraculous is about Marinette and Adrien, not fighting bad guys

You're watching a shoujo waiting for a tournament arc

>relentless and shameless marketing
Where do you live? I feel like I am the only person who knows about this show. I watch it entirely for free on YouTube.

In Italy se have this shit plastered all over everything, from candy bars to school items, to clothing and fucking air freshners! Trust me, this franchise is hammering the kids market harder than peppa pig, and this is really something to say

>yass kween slayy vibe and a faggoty, condescending manchild as the creator
To be fair, it's better than every current US show in both of these things by an order of magnitude.

>Mary sue
>plot holes
>deus ex machina
that's literally the point
imagine being this mad about a character based on good luck powers

HOT. GLUE.
