Several. Too bad it was 30+ years ago. Great animation and stories. I'm still wondering how I didn't turn out a furry.
Is this a child's film? How did they get away with that Titty Monster??
well considering it got an oscar nomination
The animation in Who Framed Roger Rabbit was done in the UK even though many of the staff came from lots of different places.
Sure
No. This one is a short and won an Oscar, but it's not that good. Looks cute though.
And there are some other Chilean anime but they are really bad.
We got some pretty good movies, like Enzo d'Alo's stuff. Of course, those pale in comparison to how enjoyable our weird Titanic adaptations are.
Saw it and it's fucking amazing. Love the way they told the story and how they told us the end.
>Forgetting about Aardman and When the Wind Blows.
oui
I'm american so no
I take it Sir Billi doesn't count? youtube.com
They know there's nothing to "get away with it" from, about anything. This is also true in the USA but the executives there are simply even more spineless
Animation in my country is like almost non-existant and is always mocked for being for little kids. And most movies that are in my native language, originate are from our neighbours down south.
No.
Psiconautas (and anything made by Alberto Vázquez Rico)
O apóstolo
Nocturna
They were very explicit about it.
Yes.
That was a masterpiece.
There have been a few
I would of gone with Heavy Metal, but that's a collaboration with both Canada and America.
Mein hyperpigmentierter Freund!
Probably my favorite film of the decade.
We tried
>inb4 planet 51
Fuck that shit
nice
I'm from France, here's a few.
Two movies and a TV series with pic related. Also, Valhalla, Princess and a few others that slipped my mind before I could write them down.
Fuck you user, why did you have to tell me there's a Zombillenium movie? The chance I'll ever get to watch it is next to zero ;_;
inb4 someone goes
>stream
Haha, no. I have standards.
The only animated film we’ve made and it’s this shit
No wonder there wasn’t a single Scot involved with “Brave” production wise. We’d fuck it up somehow
These three are actually more than decent.
this.
there's nothing wrong with big boobs, even in kids films. children usually already know what "sexy" or "seductive" mean anyway.
It's really an american thing to be afraid of the slightest hint of sexualised behavior, shouting "how did they get away with it?"
Actually, it would be more interesting to see what they did not get away with.
>killer boobs
>killer hips
Absolutely based Brazi
I love Zucchini.
There are more, but if we are talking the last ten years.
Also avoid the Weinstein Company dub, it's worse than what they did with Doogal.
This and leafy the hen in the wild
What's this
What's that? Looks like porn.
Peru will stop being a joke in the matter of animation this year
Mark
My
Words
Faggots.
>vertically-ribbed sweater
Bless
Finally a movie featuring the "I like pointy things" girl from The Weekenders.
What?
>it's worse than what they did with Doogal.
How is that even possible?
Looks good! But is it from 2017?
¿Se estrenó ya?
The movie aired in a european film festival in 2018, I guess. It's supposed to air this year, so I'm pretty hype about it.
Loved the comic. Will have to hunt for this now.
>Perú
>being a joke
First time reading this, I thought they were literal whos even in South America
Downloading it on Bluray quality...? I can make a Mega link for you
Have you ever heard of los ilusionautas? It's a french-peruvian coproduction and It's considered as one of the worst animated movies of all times.
This shit fucked me up watching it im still mad about 강민 getting away with it
Well shit, I did not expect that. Does it have english subs? I'd like it either way, but subs are kind of important if you don't speak frog.
bless the brazilians
I personally know someone that was "involved" (you'll soon get why the quotation marks) in the production of the Titanic movie with the rapping dog.
The truth is, that thing was never supposed to be aired to the public. Years ago they opened an animation school in Rome, which failed and closed after the first year. As an attempt to get back the money they lost, they took the two art projects the students did (a cartoon remake of James Cameron's Titanic and an American Tail ripoff), got some cheap Korean artists to make some additional material to stitch them together (the rapping dog scene and the "where are they now" ending) and released it in cinemas. That's the true story.
Makes you wonder how the other titanic animated movie with the talking giant octopus came about
Ey, planet 51 was ok. Capture the Flag is fine too.
What is this? Is it a movie?
Yeah, it's Lino. Brazilian 5/10 3D movie.
>Nocturna
Basado
Never ever
all of them are shit
That's a shit. those eggs are the worst.
Chile at least won multiple awards with this fantastic CGI movie.
is he going to fuck the leaf?
Why not.
Wouldn't you?
USSR was more focused on shorts, but some movie kino did happen every once in a while

There you go. Zombillenium.
If you can't download this right away I'm cutting them on parts.
que hueva de pelicula
Thanks user, you're a pretty cool guy.
I hope #4 gets a digital version when the hardcover comes out in July.
Turns out JD2 lets you bypass the ~1 GB filesize limit you'd otherwise have to use their extension to get.
Yes
The Pulentos movie also didn't win any awards, because it's garbage.
Obviously the point is that the bear film is the Chilean cartoon that won awards.
Is there an English sub of the sequel yet?
don't think so. The villain in the sequel was great youtube.com
What was the bad guy's name?
Chomet is cheating.
But glorious cheating, just like your Resistance, god bless you.
I don't know if decent, but Costa Rica has this movie, The Esoteric Birthday:
Technically Costa Rica's first animated movie.
Before this, some people have made anthology films putting animated shorts together.
Almost
What was the name of that movie?
I remember I saw it in Cartoon Network once.
>file name
You tell me.
Anyone seen this yet? I'm struggling to think of other Welsh feature animation
youtube.com
Yeah I would say they are pretty decent
Furry degenerasy the movie
CARLOS
Sooooo what is the source of that?
The king of pigs
It's slavik cartoon so you need to know russian
There only this one moment of fanservice stuff on it if you looking for that
And name is "Илья Mypoмeц и Coлoвeй-Paзбoйник"
The image alone makes me want to see it.
>Has your country ever made a decent animated film?
We invented animation, and created some masterpieces like pic related, but now it's all gone to shit
And this one from "Дoбpыня Hикитич и Змeй Гopыныч"
Technically, it would be a Frenchie that invented it, but you guys took it to some new levels and influenced the whole world, for good and ill.
Just for the sake of pissing off christians.
Yup, we pretty much set all the standards of animation and are also the reason why anime and hentai is a thing. The big issue is that we fucked everything up after pic related and now it's all kiddie shit, ugly as fuck "comedies", and maybe one good "mature" film that becomes obscure because it isn't disney, pixar, dreamworks, illumination kiddie crap or simpsons style adult comedy
The rebel province.
Pissing christians and arousing furfags.
Here's the plan it's in english, but it's chilean still. Really cute, I personally recommend seeing it.
Ironically, that which allowed you such supremacy (Disney) is the source of your downfall (family friendly, it's-only-for-kids animation).
Ironic, since it would theoretically be easier to animate a series than use actual actors and sets and hair stylists, etc.
>I'm still wondering how I didn't turn out a furry.
>"A good gangster fornicates." is a line that was said in a kids' movie
I pity anglo anons who didn't get to grow up with the original dialogue.
Oh Sean Connery...
Why? Just why?
This was way too silly...
I´m still amazed how this film got made at all. Such a weird concept.
>My country
>Malawi
No.
nunca
Country?
Those were the good days. Shame. Makes me feel older then I should.
I really do envy anyone who got to see these classics in the theater. Earliest disney film that I remember watching was Lilo and Stich all the way back in 2002. All the experience I have watching the renaissance films was via the original VHS releases during the late 90s and DVD during the mid 2000s.
So far the only ones I have on blu-ray are
>Beauty and the Beast
>Aladdin
>Lion King
>Hunchback of Notre Dame
>Mulan
And for the record I was born in 1997
Sounds like the plot of a crappy Hollywood comedy.
>"You mean we gotta make $100 mil, or the school's gonna close down? We'll ever make that in time! Unless..."
who the fuck thought this was a good idea?
Born 1991. Saw Pocahontas and Tarzan in theater when I was a kid. Also ruined my Aladdin tape when I keep rewinding the part with Jasmine in her red slave outfit. Makes me wonder if that's were my taste for Arabic women came from
No, and I’m American.
mfw I kind of do like middle eastern women myself although at the end of the day I prefer european women
First one I've got to see in theatres was Hercules and it was an awesome experience, still my favorite disney movie to this day
I’m from America, the greatest nation on Earth. What do you Yuropoors think?
based
what was this song even about?
>control-f
>no mary and max
Where are you cunts
Downloading this. Looks interesting.
I can't download it. Help.
why did you fucking remind me of this
Smartest of men.
Loves that one and this one, too. Don't know why so many people complained about the ending. It's very good.
Very dark film you got there, this came out during the time when a lot of animated movies got dark and were very atmospheric
I think there's a dubbed version. I've seen a trailer in english once.

Yes.
Dunno, bro. This is an English IB.
Yes
This Peter and Wolf adaptation was a pretty big deal when it premiered. It got a bunch of awards including an Oscar.
youtube.com
Dunno, but this is an English ib.
Plus, "piante" isn't even Spanish.
They made this:

There is a lot weird with this cover.
Shit, I still have the DVD. Is the flick any good?
Good old Robbie Williams
Hello there.
>I have on blue-ray
Fucking what mate? Do you not own a VHS player and all the classic Disney movies on VHS?
I remember El Arca from the early Youtube days.
> all these Eurofags think they can into animation
Back in the day, we did some great stuff.
We had José Luis Moro, no one can take that away from us:

Am I imagining things or is that final design bigger than the model?
To be fair, France is like the third biggest producer of animation behind the US and Japan.
Even this last screenshot from the guy's portfolio makes them look huge compared to the draft.
He drew some prime waifu material too
No. Some of the people from my country have, though.
How did you become so very hilarious?
>tfw you will never have a qt cartoon Spanish gf
Well no movies, but Malaysia has some pretty cool 3D animated series nowadays
Rimba Racer
Ejen Ali
Boboiboy
Just a lot of anime/shonen inspired battle cartoons with an okay story and animation
I like em, fun to watch. I don't think there was ever a serious or for more mature audiences animations ever made because of the governments tight regulations and censorship
I think this is the only one the Netherlands ever produced? It's based on a classic comic series.
It is if you like psychological war dramas. I especially loved the titular scene, very surreal.
>Como la serpiente
He knew what he was doing.
Thank you user. You're a heroe.
>Daring to mention the hugo movies and posting the cancerous rita meme.
Fuck you and that underage furry shit.
My dick thanks you for that.
And let's not forget Cinderella the cat and L'arte della felicità for some more recent works
Ejen Ali was better than I thought it would be
Arrugas was excellent.
Sadly not many people seem to remember it.
Jungledyret franchise is utter shit. The only good animated movie made from Denmark is Help i'm a fish.
No.
nice try burger
the ending is good but man it makes you want to jump off a bridge from sheer depression
Yes. They make them bigger for the final product! Patty is busty! BUSTY!
(IT'S THIS ONE)
One, probably last year or 2 years ago.
It was called Gatta Cenerentola, which means Cinderella Cat. It's about this 18yr old girl who is enslaved on a cruise ship by her stepmother who married her father and how she becomes free the day of her 18th birthday. Her father got killed by a prince of crime who returned to Naples after years and wanted to marry her stepmother ( when he actually wanted to marry her for whatever was the reason I don't remember ). She is saved by a policeman who was a former friend of her dad and who is trying to arrest the criminal. It's a very weird take on Cinderella but it's surprisingly good and looks more like a live-action thing instead of a cartoon
That looks fun, where can I watch it?
ITT: The French flexing on the rest of the world
And then comes Diplodocus, a movie for googoo gaga audience.
Why our creators can't think there's something like FAMILY audience. Something for kids and their parents.
They've earned the right, though.
Swede here, fond of this one: en.wikipedia.org
A true classic. I watch it every year.
Depends. Do you consider the Soviet Union to be the same country as Russia? If not, then no.
Love his art style
She's more like an old and peruvian version of Hilda. Seriously an user told me that once and now I can't unsee.
Is that the fucking monkey from The Jungle Book
You can aways like both
plus pic related, clip: youtube.com
Tinker tailor song with some changes according to plot.
Mata ki te rangui is my least favorite comic, but this movie is pretty good.
Based
youtu.be
It's kinda depressing that Aardman are pretty much the only quality British animation studio left.
Is maith liom an scannán sin.
Loved this one, thank you.
Was it funded by the French? I thought it was by some Peruvian dude who had a hard-on and insight of France in the same way Hideo Kojima has it for the USA.
I would killed to see Rena being animated.
26+6=1
Claymation is animation so you've got at least a number of great movies
Me acuerdo que Mampato tenía la voz de Bart Simpson.
Fuglekrigen i kanofleskoven and Hjælp! Jeg er en Fisk are pretty decent too. The ones you mentioned were the best though
Might be on netflix.
Dutch title is "Als je begrijpt wat ik bedoel." translated: "if you know what I mean."
But I believe it was localized in America with the very different title: "The dragon who wasn't, or was he." Or something like that.
Maybe you can find it on netflix.
What a brainfart of a post I made.
Here's the proper english title. It was at least released on vhs.
What the hell is up with that weird cover art?
We absolutely suck at making vhs/dvd covers in America. Especially of 2D animated things.
>literally just stole Star Wolf, Leon, and Panther
Y después Papelucho. Creyeron qie era buena idea. I kinda like mexican dub, but c'mon.
polish animation is shit
this took 16 years to make
and it's a total turd
>Papelucho
Ese es un nombre que no había escuchado en mucho tiempo.
>looks more like a live-action thing instead of a cartoon
user I know that you're trying to tell a compliment but you do realize you're insulting animation when you say something like that right?
And actually that's one criticism I have of Cinderella the cat: it's full of songs but there aren't any memorable dance sequences.
You're not bound ny what the human body can do in animation: let those models move!
and Ogu has the same lat voice of pic related
they made a cartoon of mampato last year.
youtube.com
>...Rode the six hundred...
That shit fucking broke me man
This looks like a nice, comfy kids film.
You know that the good people at Kecskemét started to work with eg. Studio Ghibli a couple of years ago, too? I mean only doing backgrounds, but still. I'm low-key proud.
>sees about animated film created by fellow countrymen
>it's a fucking toddler movie
Animation over here is only destined for the interwebs...
Netherlands. I hate it.
>Has your country ever made a decent animated film?
No, all of them are indecent
>Hungary
Yeah, we've made a few
I didn't know we had furries here in Chile.
We need Pinochet more than ever...
It still counts if the only good ones are based on our old comicbooks right? I was gonna come out the gate with classic Tintin movies but apparently we let the French and Canadians make those.
>tfw your country will forever be known for Da Nutshack
At least Duterte is the president
That poster is horrible.
That movie was terrible.
Somebody call a witch doctor to shrink that girls head.
I wonder if the one from Beetlejuice is on call.
Tfw your country is banned from uploading images
Why
And the voice acting was atrocious
