The West Coast gets a lot of its water by buying it from the inland states. I think the East Coast has a lot of natural clean water of its own. For measuring if someone is overweight or not there's a gray area of being healthy weight and technically overweight with things like weightlifting.

Hard to pin down with just numbers, but if childhood obesity is increasing, and the only source of food a child has are from their parents, it's hard to blame something other than the one feeding them. Could be other factors at play here though; it's hard for a kid to get outside and play when he lives in a very urban area, particularly ones that aren't safe for kids to play in. An increasing amount of the population is urban, so kids obviously have less opportunities to get out and play, which is very important for them to get a certain amount of activity per day. Especially during developmental years.

Not entirely sure if I can agree; at least not in children. How much exercise you get as a kid may serve an important role in setting your metabolism as an adult.
