She's a bitch, but she's lived with them for decades at this point, of course they're going to care for her. And she's not obnoxious, she just does her own thing and gets dragged along for the ride. When I think of obnoxious characters, I think of Felicity from Arrow, because she's constantly giving the main character shit for doing his job. The worst Jane did was shit on Cliff for slaughtering a hallway full of nazis. And really, how is the actress awful?

She hasn't given the audience any reason. She also hasn't lived with them for years, she has been there before but shows up at the beginning of the pilot.
She's 100% obnoxious. Just because you only know one way someone can be obnoxious doesn't mean she isn't. For instance stapling a guy's head.
If you can't see how bad the actress is you either have a crush on her or haven't watched any scene with her in.

I've watched the entire series so far, the actress is no worse than the woman playing Rita Farr.
And considering I had literally no experience with either of them before this show, I don't think I'm really being biased.
Also, the whole "getting the shit beaten out of her in a mental hospital multiple times" as well as whatever trauma caused the initial splinter personalities gives the audience plenty of reason to care about her. Hammerhead's a cunt, but that's what she's supposed to be.

She spent the majority of last episode as a Tiny Tim/Oliver Twist pastiche, while also spending her flashbacks getting the shit kicked out of her.
The third episode had the Nazi scientist very clearly break through her "badass" facade.
Are you just not watching the show? Jane gets shit on a lot.

This show got me to lift my ban on superhero tv programs that has existed since NBC's Heroes, and I was not disappointed

And hearing Curtis Armstrong as Ezekiel has been a real treat

I don't dislike her. But she should be played as a joke more, but tends to just be a dick most of the time.
