>Whosoever holds this hammer, if he be worthy, shall possess the power of Thor.
Do you think you’d be able to use it?
Whosoever holds this hammer, if he be worthy, shall possess the power of Thor
absolutely not
List of people who have been able to lift the Hammer, through some bullshit or another:
>Magneto
>Hulk
>Red Hulk
Who else?
Wonder Woman canonically. Funnily enough Superman cannot.
some military nerd reject
Your question is poorly phrased because I could use it as a door weight, but I very much doubt I would be able to wield it.
Only he who posts on /pol/ unironically can lift it.
Wondy used it on Marvel vs DC (aka not canon), Superman used it on JLAvengers, and that was canon.
>Funnily enough Superman cannot.
Same reason Spidey can't. It's a Norse God's interpretation of worthiness, which seems to includes a willingness to kill and some amount of celebration for the glory of battle.
i would prefer the batmobile ;)
the one volstagg lifted yes.
the one thor lifts nope.
i'm a rage filled murder machine not a noble warrior.
>Tries to lift the hammer.
>Arms get ripped off.
fpbp as per usual
this will never be canon
If a cripple with cancer can lift it, so can I.
So a bunch of Mexicans larping as Aryans?
only with my dick tho
nope.
I wish I could. Not for the power but just... to pass the test of character.
But the truth is I'm less than a man in many ways.
Capitan America in fear itself
I'm just reading some thor right now, (vol3 till fem thor and then go back to some classic) and worthy thing is discussed, but not much (haven't read up to unworthy thor yet).
Is ever been stated what's mean worthy? Because with fear itself I started thinking it's just some bullshit rule linked to real lore like being worthy to go to Valhalla.
Worthy so far don't mean 'being good' but basically 'sacrifice yourself for Asgard'.
Magneto is more than worthy, his cause is just.
Superman can't because he's unwilling to kill in the name of a great cause. Therefore by Norse interpretation he isn't technically a warrior.
Captain Marvel shall wield it and kill Thanos
Depends...
What has the definition of "worthy" been to Mjolnir in the past?
>Still a virgin
I think I've got a chance
What happens if you're laying down and Thor drops the hammer on your belly?
I'll use it to hammer that nail I've been having a hard time to pound.
Not unless Marvel wanted to shill me in a comic for some reason.
Without a doubt I am. I am so worthy in fact that Mjolnir would forcibly fly out of Thor's hand to come gently nuzzle my fingers like a dog begging for head pats. I'd hold it for a moment; let it feel the sense of security that radiates from my grip. Then I'd drop it. I couldn't do that to Odinson, he's a nice guy and good enough for Mjolnir. And more importantly I have better things to do, like shitpost and masturbate to HSK.
No
lol never in a million years
It's about being a noble warrior-protector, I think. Simonson outlined his view on it that he based Beta Ray Bill on
>One of the cool things about Thor was the enchantment around Mjolnir and the original inscription on it. So I thought, well that means someone else can pick up this hammer and get this power, if they're worthy! So since then, some other big characters, people's favorites, have picked up the hammer, Captain America, Superman, whoever. But at this point, no one had ever picked up the hammer. I liked the idea of Cap walking to the bathroom and seeing it, and grabbing and just tugging, not being able to. So this had to be someone new. This is the most powerful weapon of the Norse gods. This hammer is a killing weapon. It's used to kill Frost Giants and others. So, Superman couldn't pick it up, cause he's never going to kill anyone, and the hammer knows that. Captain America, he's too patriotic. He's too much a symbol of America to be chosen by this Norse artifact. So he couldn't get it. So I created Bill because he's noble, and he's designed to kill. He's got a great purpose as a warrior, and also the noble ability. That makes him "worthy" whatever that may be.
Honestly, probably not brave enough to be worthy.
>he didnt see thor 1
Why not? A cancer patient can use it.
Definitely not. While the qualities which make one Thor are nebulous, I know I lack them.
