I could write a small essay on everything I hate about the movie. It would be one thing if I could make a decent sized list of things I liked about it, but it had none. The movie couldn't even get its own message right. It was ridiculous how much they dropped the ball after how good the first one was.

I think my biggest gripe with the show is it felt lazy. Catra was the only thing interesting about the show ever. The world itself was lazy and barren of people most of the time, for no reason. This movie was fun as fuck, actually addressed the criticism that people said about the first movie's "snowflake" message, was never afraid to poke fun at itself, and had as much as a relatable human plot as the first one.

I enjoy it, but I know it's garbage. Some of the jokes are cheesy (A lot of the Ralph meme jokes), character arcs kind of fly everywhere, sometimes shit just conveniently happens to get the plot going (Like the virus being obsessed with literal insecurities instead of openings in code).

But I dunno, I enjoyed it. The characters themselves are fun, their acting is fun and cartoony, and damn if I didn't enjoy every scene with Spammley. Gord was weird, like he was right out of fucking Sonic Dreams.

Also, the ending with the million of Ralphs forming one big Ralph was terrifying and I didn't expect something so creepy from a Disney version of the Emoji movie.

Also, Season 5 should have been the end of this show, as THAT was as good a note to go out on as any. No, Yea Forums hates it for shitting on the original's plot points, making Ralph a retard, Disney's self-felating, the lack of video games being the focus (though the first film also had that last issue) and for basically being Emoji Movie 2, but with different characters and more visual polish. Female empowerment is the least of the film's problems

I know lots of people here rag on the animation, but I think it adds charm depending on the episode and who's storyboarding/writing what (for me, it's Mira/Geneva and Stevie/Ryann). Granted, some can get too carried away and the show is no Toy Story, but it all comes together in a nice little "heros with a part-time job" scenario with fun antagonists and an interesting underlying plot. I do wish the secondary characters could get more character development.

To me shes defeminized not because of the chest plate, but because of minor other details that really make her look more manly. The hair is the most noticeable, baring able to cut the line our of the hair with your eyes and see a shaved head if you look hard enough is retarded. They should've had it be flowing off of her head, not the back of it. Second issue is the short/skirt combo. I feel like shorts would be fine IF the skirt was longer or concealed the shorts more, like in a normal short/skirt combo. You could have her in a longer skirt and pass the shorts all together but they didnt do that either. My third gripe is personal but I feel like the shoulder spikes being so plain and undetailed is sort of wasted potental. In order to be more feminine they should've been smaller but with more accents, maybe like the edges of her tiara but on her shoulders. It's all small things that really take her femininity away.
