Definitely the best Spidey movie since SM2, though that’s not really a feat. It does a great job hitting the core of what Spider-Man is, but in a new angle. The new versions of classic like Doc Ock and Scorpion really work, and you never feel like the film shits on Peter for the sake of Miles. One of my favorite scenes was Miles and Aaron together. For the first time in a while I adored the Easter eggs, and they didn’t feel like cheap cop outs to things that should be utilized like in the MCU.

My only real complaint is that Fisk doesn’t ever come off as interesting as his henchmen.

The Miles scenes were actually my favorite parts, especially when he was interacting with a Peter or Aaron.

On the contrary, the film was way more lauded here once it actually came out. It's true it has a lot of elements Yea Forums doesn't like but the quality shined through. I wouldn't have even checked it out had everybody not been so highly praising it here

The famerate bugged me for about 2 seconds then I realized it actually completely works and the movie looks amazing.

Classic technique just means shit people are used to, 24FPS isn't used in movies because it's more "cinematic", it's because it was as low as they could go to reduce film costs without being noticable and people got used to it, same with animation, keyframe heavy 12 drawings per second was a cost cutting method, there's nothing inherently superior about them.

Best Spider-man movie since Raimi and Spider-man 2. Top tier animation, music, writing and comedy.

In the film both Peters are significantly better than Miles at everything. The only thing he really does for Peter at the end is give him a pep talk to go see Mary Jane again, which is just him using Peter's words against him.

I suppose you could say the invisibility and venom blast stuff are a bit much, but them's the breaks.

Except Spider-verse's frame rate isn't consistently low, it's selective based on character, scene, mood, and a lot of other factors.
On average Gwen and Spider-ham have more frames then the others while Peni is on the other end of the spectrum, in order to emulate their associated mediums more.

His invisibility is nerfed from what it was in the comics too since he still shows up on thermals and it doesn't seem to be consistent on things he's carrying.
On the other hand it's not like the complaints have anything to do with his power set.
