It's also true that the odd "cute girl" show like NAME REDACTED can get a fanatical following of waifufags here for a while before there's backlash and people start to hate it. Usually if it's got anime elements and is like a "cute girls doing cute things" moe anime. If any real depth happens instead of wacky blushing cute girls making sandwiches or something, detractors will appeal. They're basically fantasy harems without the harem that are turn off your brain escapism and if they stop being that some people will get mad. A lot of people here are social cripples.
