Is that bad? He's only been in three movies so far and only had a major role in one of them.

It's not unreasonable, given he wasn't in the last one. He's been in the least movies out of any original team member. He's the only member of the original six that was completely absent from Infinity War, that's been completely absent from an Avengers movie. Now they have an opportunity for a revenge plot, and they might as well give it enough screentime to properly develop it.

Actually I think that's going to Scott. He completely missed everything thanks to being stuck in the Quantum Realm, and that is somehow going to help them stop Thanos

Four movies. Thor, Avengers, Avengers: Age of Ultron, and Captain America, Civil War. That's still less very low for a character who's been in the franchise this long.

That's still a movie he was in for barely a minute, then his actual appearances in Avengers where he had the least focus of the group, and then Civil War where he was only really there for the airport fight.

The only movie he's actually gotten a lot of focus in was AoU.

He’s not. Nobody gonna push Hawkeye/ronin for just one movie. Especially since everybody going back in the end. There are Evans and Downey storylines to finish.

Define unreasonable. Hawkeye seems to get a lot of hate for a character with no powers, which usually ends up being a fan favourite trope.

He hasn't done anything extremely stupid, he's not goofy or 'memey' (whatever the hell that means), and the only time he turned to the bad side was literally when he got hit with a mind control spell that had no will save.

You could perhaps find him bland, but he still manages to kill more bad guys than an actual assassin armed with guns.

He's gonna get fucked over by Tom Cruise again somehow.
