The ONLY way "redirect to revert" could work would be if Billy was dumb enough to do his Kingdom Come special with the word. But why the fuck would he when he can just beat Carol to death?

2. Even assuming "redirect and revert" works, Carol has to tag Billy with it. Billy is faster than a Flash and the Kingdom Come special works specifically by being fast enough to get out of the way of his own lightning.

3. Carol redirected Skadi's lightning, but Billy's lightning is far more complex and is able to pull objects out of thin air. It's likely Carol would find it hard to absorb and channel as high-level magic has always given her trouble.

Basically, Death Battle would have to be absolute retards to give Carol the win to the point of outright lying how Billy's powers work.
