Let's hope Disney doesn't destroy it in the next 20 years.

10 more years of Marvel.

Disney Immortalem

No. I gotta get my shit together.

Will Disney buy out Paramount next?

how do we stop the mouse?

Can Disney buy Hasbro i want to see a good ROM movie.

Attached: Hasbro_4c_no_R.png (1200x1200, 228K)

I give it less than 5

You can't.

Well, if you can't beat 'em, join 'em.

The mouse is too big to be stopped now.

That is like Rhode Islands biggest pride right there.

I’m honestly surprised nobody has tried stopping this, Disney is essentially a Monopoly now

They’re only a combined 34% of the movie market, they don’t get Fox Sports or the actual fox networks

AT&T/Warner is honestly worse.

You know I just realized Disney keeps fucking over Universal Studios parks.

Universal had those Marvel rides in the early 2000s that they had to remove after Disney bought out marvel and now the Simpsons area and other fox property rides Universal has are going to get removed as well

Both are getting too fucking big

It'd be neat to see some concept art of proposed Fantastic 4 or X-Men projects in the far future
Well Universal cockblocks them from making Hulk movies so it evens out.

But the Marvel section is still there. It' just all the MCU stuff has go into Disneyland California instead of Disneyworld Orlando. All the other stuff is up in the air.

Is it too late for President Trump (PBUH) to sign an Executive Order to put a stop to this?

He probably doesn't even care.

Would he want to though, remember they put him in the hall of Presidents, he’d probably let them get away with literal murder for that

Disney bought Marvel, Lucasfilm, and now Fox. You can't compare that with Warner Bros.

He's sign an executive order forcing it to happen if someone offered him a fat check to do so

I guess so, but man if I don't get that job I don't know how I'll react. I know I've not been a lazy fuck but I really like this job and my other options just suck.

>One step away from the Orville Star Wars crossover.

They have no reason to buy them

Marvel and Lucasfilm are basically single-franchise companies. Nowhere near the same thing as them buying Fox.

Buying the Rat products or sucking the Rat dick does not make you part of the Rat industries.

Maybe not. But both MCU and Star Wars are massive properties. And what was the last massive film studio Warner bought? AT&T is not a film studio.

Both are monopolies in different ways
>Disney: taking most of the entertainment industry
>AT&T buying a huge part of every single industry

Trump was for it, saying it’ll be good for jobs despite the fact that the combined company plans to lay of anywhere between 4,000-10,000 people.

What happens wednesday?

Harry Potter? I'm not sure if that's a good example since WB made it far bigger than it was before buying it.

They already okayed it.

No he did support it, he tried to Stop AT&T from merging with WB tho but it failed and was proved that he did it for personal reasons.

Disney buys FOX

>y’all
Fuck off

Disney did that with Marvel too though I guess

>>Disney buys WB
>>WB owns the movie rights to Charlie and the Chocolate Factory
>>IT BEGINS

Conjunctions too difficult, eh?

Daily reminder that monopoly leads to goverment being forced to increase their countrol over this single industry to avoid abuse or market crash what turn the country in pretty much a socialist state.

What in tarnation is your major malfunction, son?

>They have no reason to buy them
Transformers use to be a billion dollar franchise.
And they make toys that sell.

We're heading that way with how many retail stores are closing down. There's just going to be so many empty lots

He's making a joke about Fox not being able to beat them and then being forced to join Disney.

Take away women's rights. Disney is for Girls. Take women's rights away, they no longer are able to get jobs easily. And women with no jobs? No disposable income as their boyfriends and husbands aren't going to support their interests. Some weak men may give in, but most men don't like the shit Disney makes, especially Disney Princess Shit. Anyway this is the solution.

Take away women's rights and watch Disney die.

mouse trap. A cat. Poison. My grandmother used to apply poison but she refered to it as "medicine" so the mice wouldn't understand her intentions.

So I guess stuff like Alien, Predator, and Die Hard are fucked right?

Only one of those franchises has had a good movie recently to be fair

It's not like i'm losing nor gaining antthing with this so yeah. Disney only did this to get the rights of the X-Men, Fantastic Four and that one Star Wars movie. I'm gonna miss Bluesky tho.

Nah, they're getting a lot of content for disney+ and such.

They're not paying 30B for x-men, FF and distribution to Star Wars: A New Hope

Reminder that this whole merger is being advertised as a unification of Marvel properties to blind the public from the monopolization of media by Disney.

Reminder that the merger doesn't even cover X-Men (Owned by The Donners' Company NOT 20th Century Fox) or Fantastic Four (Owned by Constantin Film NOT 20th Century Fox).

Trump and Bob Iker and BFF user.

One of the properties Disney themselves said they would be acquiring when they first made their bid was X-Men. You're not nearly as smart as you think you are.

Just stop seeing their movies.

Unless they have deals with Donner and Constain it doesn’t matter shit what Bob and Fergie say.

As heavy as your bodies are.

You can't.
Resistance is futile.

I'm not American, but aren't there supposed to be laws in place to stop companies like Disney from doing what Disney is currently doing?

It's amazing what you can get away with when you have an inordinate amount of money, isn't it?

Yes.

However since 1996 Antitrust laws in relation to media lost all their teeth. Thanks Bill Clinton!

Why couldn't they have bought the godawful news division too and shut down that house of libel?

Of course, considering this is Yea Forums, you faggots probably jerk off to Fox News and unironically worship Fucker Carlson.

You say that but I bet you religiously watch CNN or MSNBC which are just as bad.

Because Disney owns ABC and ESPN which would have been a harder sell to the FCC for why they should not only own nearly 50% of entertainment but 40% of news and 80% of sports coverage.

Single franchise entities that make up largely 50% - 60% of blockbuster releases in the next 3 years

>Reminder that the merger doesn't even cover X-Men (Owned by The Donners' Company NOT 20th Century Fox) or Fantastic Four (Owned by Constantin Film NOT 20th Century Fox).

You're an idiot with old information.

Explain or fuck off

Disney buys Fox might possibly release the unaltered versions of the original Star Wars trilogy on Bluray cause Disney loves money
now just watch I'll get banned for this cause some mod will say this post is off topic

He's too busy watching reruns of SNL

I will miss Blu Sky too.

this is from plebbit
"Fox owns the movie rights. This lawsuit law.justia.com/cases/federal/district-courts/FSupp2/155/1/2365871/ from 2001 is where Fox sued Marvel over the Mutant X TV show. Take the time to read the link ... it states in no uncertain terms that Fox licensed the X-Men in October1993 from Marvel. She's a producer on the film. That's all.

In October 1993, Fox and Marvel entered into an agreement (the "1993 Agreement" or "Agreement") pursuant to which Marvel licensed to Fox the exclusive right to create, produce, distribute and market theatrical motion pictures based on the "X-Men Property" (or "Property"), which refers to the "X-Men comic book series." (1993 Agreement ¶ 6.)

Note, the rights were licensed to Fox not Schuler-Donner or her production company."
I think Constantine only holds the distribution rights in Germany and Austria and they sold all the other shit to Fox, not sure
