If he's smart he doesnt suicide. All he needs to do is make a patreon or youtube channel and make an Eddie Puss cartoon. He'll be swimming in money by next year and he doesnt need the industry behind his back. He'll probably be able to reclaim the largest part of TLH fanbase that matters (people who make OC and spread the memes), and all that energy would go into the new Eddie Puss stuff.
That said, I doubt Savino is smart enough to realize this.

Both shows were already zombies by the time Savino reached them. Dexter at least had a decent finale movie but after the budget cuts, switch to toonboom, and Dexter's original VA retiring the show was doomed to be inferior to its original run no matter who was at the helm.

Admittedly, I know less about PPG's later seasons and how exactly Savino ruined them, but compared to nuPPG anything from that era is a godsend.

Even with less focus on Lincoln, for some reason there's a heavy amount of focus on Lynn, Lynn Sr., Lucy and Luna. Lana may as well not even be in the show much, I don't know when is the last they actually gave her some focus.

Savino was fired by the time season 3 was mostly done. Season 4 will be the true post savino season.

Chris Savino's shtick has always been flat stereotypes.

Imagine putting your old flat stereotypes in a show to pad out the amount of them.

It was pretty fun. Basically a better Loud House:

Overall, it wasn't anything AMAZING, but I'm happy we got a good two seasons of it. In my eyes, Disney XD made a strong first impression with Kick Buttowski, and it was definitely a cartoon that deserved being animated by Mercury Filmworks.

Dexter was supposed to end in 1999 with Ego Trip. They just brought it back without Genndy in 2001 with Savino at the helm, Genndy was never involved asides from the chickenpox short and the final episode where they go to the zoo.

Christine Cavanaugh was in it for a few episodes as well before getting replaced by Candi Milo.

Also, Chris Savino took over PPG because Craig left to work on Foster's after season 4. It was still better than his work on Dexter.

I haven't seen that Ducktales reboot.
There are definitely exceptions, but as a kid I became super cynical about reboots after the Dexter's lab reboot. Everything cool about the original show was gone, they surprisingly got the characters right, but that's it.
It makes sense the Powerpuff Girls would change for a new young audience after so many years, but the Dexter reboot was for the same kids that loved reruns of the original show.
I will say, Scooby Doo has had some good reboots.

Craig seems to still be pulling through. He's working on a new Netflix show.

Gravity Falls' finale was a bit rushed, but what's so bad about quitting while you're ahead? I'd much rather have Gravity Falls the way it is now than a zombie Simpsons type of case.

Hell, Phineas and Ferb didn't even run for a decade and it was definitely running out of steam in the final season.
