Chad Stark gets inspired by Steve’s death, and starts the Americops program to keep the non-white scum in line.

Did this ever go anywhere?

Americops were a stupid idea. If you're gonna' show corruption then show it, don't use a goddamn robot that literally isn't programmed to handle these situations.

Wasn't the original Americop character a hero?

That was some super lame 'topical comics' rubbish

Yeah, but he presumably died off-panel from his fight with Bullseye and Penance and then got replaced by... robots? I don't think they ever really made it clear what the Hell was up with the Americops.

It works in context. A police system that refuses to connect with the community as the Rich continues to buy up land to gentrify it without helping the community.

Except marvel actually needs super police, with all the super villains running around.

Also the comic is more hamhanded than Tim Buckley bludgeoning you in the face with an entire roast ham.

Wait, so those two start a fight with those robo-cop things, and it's somehow the fault of the robots?

>A police system that refuses to connect with the community
How do you connect with a community that's been brainwashed by shitty media outlets into thinking you're a cartoonishly evil nazi who beats up black people for fun

They didn't start a fight. She was reaching in her pocket for her ID when the cop went "GUN OH FUCK" and started pounding on her.

Fuck Coates making Americops robots and double fuck Spencer killing off Bart Gallows and replacing him with an army of knock-offs so he can cry about how police are evil.

Play the character straight and lean HEAVILY towards Americop being a good guy or at the very least, a permanent replacement for Punisher, who has been permanently pozzed by the Netflix show. Not to mention Bart's connection to the 2099 universe since Spider-Man 2099 is off-limits due to Sony.

Introduce him in Black Panther 2 as a foil for BP not a villain and basically graft the plot of The Slavers onto the original Americop storyline (which is that Zemo is kidnapping orphaned boys out of foster homes to make them his new Hitler Youth).

Americop and Black Panther rescue the kids and BP gets a healthy dose of having his privilege checked as far as Americop constantly calling him a spoiled pampered prince who's not giving a shit about poor white America starving and never having access to any of Wakanda's miracle tech. Meanwhile, Americop is gay so as to give the SJW horde reason to like him and to challenge them to accept Marvel's first openly gay hero being a MAGA-head.

Ending of the film has Ravage show up to kill Americop. Ravage is working for Doom (fuck the Fantastic Four, we'll be using Doom 2099 for the MCU).

Ravage convinces Carol Danvers that Americop has to die because he's going to kill someone who starts a race riots that allows for bad shit to happen as far as civil war. But Doom has lied to Ravage, because he wants to kill Bart in order to prevent him from having a son (via artificial insemination) with a woman, who will then have another kid who will grow up to be Punisher 2099. Who just beat Doom and basically foiled several years worth of scheming to conquer the Earth in the year 2099. So Ravager is sent back in time to kill Bart and basically change history so Doom wins.

Okay, I looked at OP's pic again, and saw that the gun was holstered, but that brings up another issue, what happened in OP's pic does not occur IRL, you only would be shot at if you try to actually draw.

Opposing Doom and Ravager are the Avengers 2099 (Hulk 2099, Ghost Rider 2099, Iron Man 2020 who is now Iron Man 2099 due to sliding scale stuff, Machine Man, Jocasta who is Janet Pym in a robot body, Black Ant Eric O'Grady, and Punisher 2099).

We get Carol's Avengers vs the Avengers 2099 Vs Doom Vs Americop and the OG Avengers still around (ideally, Scott Lang, Hank Pym, Dr Strange, and Black Panther; who can be the Movie version of the Illuminati).

Doom is defeated, Carol is humiliated and forced to resign as an Avenger and go back into space, and ironically Doom ends up finding out (as Strange beats him in humiliating fashion) that Doom was destined to accidentally CREATE Punisher 2099 since while on the run, Americop meets his future husband and they eventually marry/pay a woman to bear the gay couple's kid who will have the kid who will kick Doom's ass.

Bonus points: Americop=Thomas Jane (dude basically looks just like Americop and would an excellent bit of meta casting) and Ray Stevenson as Punisher 2099.

It was actually explained.

Spencer explicitly had the Americops in his Cap run be human. But in the Coates run, they were replaced with robots. IIRC, they got replaced by robots because the Americops were removed from NYC and deployed elsewhere when Hydra took over but NYC still wanted them around. So some company put together robot replacements which Coates used.

This was in part because Black Lives Matter killed a couple of cops just as Spencer started his arc and as a result, had to rework the ending of it to make the Americops appear in a more favorable light and Coates being told he had to use robots if he wanted to revisit the storyline.

I honestly like this. Except faggot Americop. Play it straight; no need to poz it.

Interesting idea but

1. 2099 is pretty much reviled by Marvel and the only reason we got Spider-Man 2099 brought back, let alone given any sort of high profile, is due to Marvel wanting to keep Peter David in house. And note, they even moved Miguel full time to the present day.

2. Using Doom 2099 as "the default" Dr Doom also limits what you can do with him. Especially since you have Kang, who makes way more sense if you want to do time travel shennanigans.

That said, having Jane and Stevenson as Americop and Punisher 2099 is an interesting bit of stunt casting. Though, I would think Disney would just pay whatshisface from the Walking Dead instead since he's cheaper and pretty much a soi boy who politically agrees with Feige and Larson.

It's even worse. Her badge is clearly visible on her belt. It's the equivalent of a security guard killing a cop. A major problem I have with the whole thing, along with all stories of this type, is that they completely ignore the massive political issues that would stem from even contracting out law enforcement to a private group, much less actually deploying them.

Yeah, and Punisher 2099 is one of his descendants.

I think it would be needed, because then they can have their openly gay hero and also say, "he's also our first openly conservative hero!" to appease fans who are still bitter at Brie Larson.

Bonus points, since it lets them flesh out Black Panther (who let's face it, is a Mary Sue) by having him have issues with gay people (a taboo subject within black communities) and use Americop being gay as a shield to avoid having him constantly having to be portrayed wrong and an idiot. Because his gayness means he can say "Trump is a great President" and call BP and Carol out on their shit, without any consequence since being gay means Americop can't be dismissed as a dumb jock type the same way USAgent gets treated in the comics.

If they want to use Americop as a Black Panther foil, why not just make him Zemo?

Instead of having Zemo cosplay as Citizen V, have him create the Americop persona. The blank face mask can incorporate a voice changer, so Zemo sounds American.

Americop/Zemo helps Panther in his film, reveal his secret ID as the ending, and then set up Zemo as Americop recruiting the Thunderbolts to replace the Avengers, who have disbanded following Endgame.

God, the bantz would be terrific.

>Unlike some nations, Wakanda sees fit to use its bounty to improve the lives of the less fortunate.
>Eventually.
>*angry glare*
>I'm just teasing. Opening a youth center in another first-world nation counts for something. A little something, but still something.

Yeah, but... I don't like faggots, user. Why do you have to ruin a character like that? Fuck, just make him Bi, allude to some twink he fucked and have him get with a woman proper.
