Zi-O is cool, thats true.

Can't give a shit about Ryusoulger - I actually hope it fails because I'm sick of dinosaurs. Makes me wish they actually went with dragons

stealth threads are cancer

>Makes me wish they actually went with dragons
Always next year.

>Characters come back even if their actors don't
>Aren't afraid to put bright colors on their costumes
>No shaky cam
>Very few jumpcuts during fights
>Their "civil war" movies are actually large scale fights between two groups
>Get to see a heroes and villains from the 70s fight modern ones.
How can MCU even compete?

Where can I watch this?

over-ti.me/ will sub it whenever the DVDs drop.

Anime is shit

Kamen rider counts as Yea Forums since its superheroes.

Sentai, not as much.

No, Yea Forums is-comics & cartoons
Yea Forums isn't Yea Forums-superheroes
Get it fucking right people

Kinda defeats tge purpose when their sentai was claimed to be "dragon themed knights". But then it turns out to be dinosaurs.

Making this a rehash of Zyuranger instead of a dragon magiranger. And instead Power Ranger Dragon Knight (together we fight the fight)

>he says this while capeshit is 75% of Yea Forums discussion

>Sentai, not as much.

Though this universe is considered as a "defunct" universe by Marvel, it still exists, thanks to the ongoing Super Sentai and Kamen Rider TV shows. With the appearance of Kamen Rider Decade back in 2009, this would cause the creation of alternate Toei universes (officially known as A.R. Worlds). This means that Super Sentai is on a parallel Earth that is both part of a different multiverse across the other worlds and the Marvel Multiverse.

doesn't have to be
we still have the occasional Goon and Hellboy thread

Okay, but what if... listen, what if... crossover?

Marvel doesn't have the balls.

No not really?

>Characters come back even if their actors don't
>Aren't afraid to put bright colors on their costumes
>No shaky cam
>Very few jumpcuts during fights
>Their "civil war" movies are actually large scale fights between two groups
>Get to see a heroes and villains from the 70s fight modern ones.

Unironically though this is still true. But anything concerning narrative goes straight down to the toilet.

>But anything concerning narrative goes straight down to the toilet.
user, let's not pretend that the average capeshit movie is any better than japanese's children's toy commercials when it comes to writing.

Significantly worse if you're factoring in the series'.

Kamen Riders Drive, Build, OOO, Double, Gaim and super sentais Gobuster, Shinkenger, and Gokaiger are all worlds better than any season of The Flash past the first one, any season of Arrow past the second one, and any season of Legends of Tomorrow or Supergirl period.

>Zi-O is cool,
How does it measure up to build?
I watched build every week, but I didn't keep up with Zi-oh after the first 3 episodes since it felt like dick-aid 2.0

How's Zi-O been? I haven't been keeping up.

Sony would do it. Sony WILL do it.

This actually happens in the comics.

>Always next year.
Isn't Sentai on hiatus if Ryusoulger fails?

I didn't hear anything about that but I'd be fine it. I haven't been super invested in Super Sentai since Gokaiger.

i like gobuster, but no, its not that great. not even to stand with the shows you listed

Starts off boring but gets better

>Characters come back even if their actors don't
But that sucks when the actors don't come back. Every Kuuga appearance in the movies feels so hollow because Toei can't dump a truckload of money onto Joe Odagiri's house.

I agree that it sucks when the actors don't come back, but I'll take hollow Kuuga over no Kuuga any day.

Build was kino so you cant compare Zi-O to it.

But Zi-O is fun as an anniversary series

Redpill me on the current state of Sentai. One of my friends said it's getting cancelled this year

Rating and toys sales have been bad for a while
If the new seasons doesn't do good it's going on hiatus.

>Cinematic
also last true good Kamen Rider was EX-Aid and it is been more than a decade since the last good Sentai Team

they used him in two events already

>last true good Kamen Rider was EX-Aid

You and I clearly want very different things from Kamen Rider. I thought Build was fantastic and I couldn't even finish EX-Aid.

>You and I clearly want very different things from Kamen Rider.
fair point.
See ya on /m/ user.

This comic basically made me want a kamen rider show with spider-man as its main motif.

Live action shows/movies not based on Western comics are off-topic. Please relocate to a more appropriate board.

people only thought it was dragons because of the 'ryu' (dragon) in kishiryu

when they really just pulled an abaranger again and it was just the 'ryu' in 'kyoryu' (dinosaur)

given the precedent, people really should've seen it coming

What do you think the MCU and Toei should learn/take from the other?

Stealth threads are the only good threads on any board.

Marvel: More absurd spectacle for the sake of it. Don't be ashamed of bright colors and posing in the street. Transformation sequences are cool.

Toei: Put in some minorities or homosexuality so people will bitch about it and advertise your shit for free. Stop with the stuttering camera "humor" and just quip instead.

>Toei: Put in some minorities or homosexuality
There's been a few black guys in Kamen Rider but they were always one-off villains and there was a gay guy in Kamen Rider Gaim who was genuinely one of the strongest characters in the show because he was a military veteran.

Honestly both Build and Ex-Aid were great, but for different reasons.

lol that's your idea of not superhero?

Hellboy's definitely a superhero, just one in a Lovecraftian universe. Goon's horror-noir.

Don't mind me, just being stronger than Thanos with the infinity gaunlet.

Actually, both could fit, there are sentai, kamen rider and other heroes comics out there.

It was Kamen Rider Black too.

Alan Moore of all people considers Hellboy not capeshit
The Goon had an entire issue shitting on capeshit

>homosexuality
We had Bravo
