>MARVEL COMICS PRESENTS
I am really more interested in overall sale numbers

mmh judging by the positions of some comics, sales for those titles either went up or overall sales went down by a few thousands

art was also pretty good and story surprisingly free of sjw stuff

>venom and flash that high
pretty surprising to see those characters in the top 10
also
>venom outsells spider-man
that´s what good art will to for you

I'm surprised flash is so high. And I hope friendly neighborhood spider-man climbs higher that shit has been cash thus far at least high enough to beat Miles

>Batman who laughs
Christ why?

The Flash is high because of the cross-over with Batman, which was a tie-in to HiC.

It's Batman, but.... listen. It's Batman, but he's a Joker. It's Batman and Joker as one.

BWL was pretty much Captain Marvel’d in terms of marketing. They shoved this redundant atrocity everywhere since Metal

>friendly neighborhood spider-man
that is gay trash written by a massive sjw.
maybe he should stop screaming about drump for 5 seconds and write a story that is actually about peter parker being cool instead nothing more then a emasculated side kick to some super power granny and a strong independent black woman cop

> Snyder’s face and writing

This man was allowed to breed...twice

your industry is dying because people with better taste than you buy mangos. enjoy your homoerotic boys club while it lasts.

>your industry is dying
I agree. I only read mangas as well since comics nowadays are almost excursively sjw stories made to pander to feminists

what trump stuff? So far its just been peter being relatively competent with a couple of sweet moments with the civilians and so far the black cop has had 3 lines and one of them was "thank you for saving my family"

It only appeared once in JL.

Who the fuck gives this much of a shit about that shitty comic? Jesus christ. I don't even think the few fans she has care this much about it.

Also, nice to see Avengers No Road Home in the Top 10, but I can't for the life of me understand the infatuation with Venom. Good art can only carry interest for so long, because it sure as hell can't be the writing. Then again that imbecile has a cult so maybe I'm just out of touch.

> 1. BATMAN WHO LAUGHS #3 (DC ENTERTAINMENT)
> 88. DEATHSTROKE #40 (DC ENTERTAINMENT)
Complete proof that the industry is fucked and comic book fans who buy floppies have literally 0 taste.
> 1. MISTER MIRACLE TP (MR) (DC ENTERTAINMENT)
TPB Master Race

I bet you the only comics that guy actually cares about are the ones he hates. Lot people on Yea Forums are sad that nowadays.

the movie probably pushed him back into prominence

Yeah but the movie was last year, at this point it being #4 is overkill. And it happened precisely on the issue that left a lot of people scratching their heads and others basically scrambling to say it's "still good" because he's retconning stuff "nobody cares about".

>why is a comic featuring the most popular and best selling superhero and most popular and best selling villain merged into one character selling so well?

Attached: 080314_Ledger_Joker.jpg (320x240, 33K)

Too bad Bendis is writing like 6 books atm or someshit goddamn what the fuck is DC doing.

Man, Johns' Three Jokers is going to do all kinds of crazy money,

>21. SUPERMAN #8 (DC ENTERTAINMENT)
>29. ACTION COMICS #1008 (DC ENTERTAINMENT
Absolute state of Bendis.

Attached: my sides.jpg (473x354, 29K)

Where's Captain Marvel?

> 39. CAPTAIN MARVEL #2 (MARVEL COMICS)
Which is pretty good considering Captain Marvel was usually around the 50's in her regular runs.

The rankings are actually pretty good, although I'd guess only due to overall sales falling too.

here. obviously an attack on trump supports for complaining about the negative effects decades of unregulated mass immigration has had on the west.
fun fact the most prosperous countries in the world are also the least diverse so that line about "if you don´t accept mass immigration your country will die" is just ridicules leftwing propaganda
>sweet moments with the civilians
spider-man is once again constantly shown as a loser who fails and needs help from "strong women"

Attached: accept mass immigration.jpg (1987x3056, 1.68M)

>we've seen how well one joker sells
>NOW IMAGINE THREE

You guys are obsessed and itching for an opportunity to lecture others about fucking immigration issues stemming from a goddamn comic book.
A single page can send you into a seething rage, it's incredible.

My theory is that she lost a lot of support after managing to turn a hyper-liberal black woman who created tools to conclusively identify online harassers into a bastion of the alt-right.

Sage for off-topic.

not obsessed just tired of constantly seeing liberals pushing their shitty proganda into every single form of entertainment.
they really should stop with that if they still want there to be a comic industry in 5 years

Alright but who's forcing you to buy that comic, let aloe read it? Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man isn't even the main title and it doesn't even sell that much. I'm sure as hell wouldn't go out of my way to read it, that's for sure...

I think you're getting worked up over nothing. Do yourself a favor and never read a Green Arrow comic. Not even the good ones. I'm sure you'd think the Grell run is an attack on Trump as well even though it was written in the 80s.

Also that chin in panel three really looks like George W's.

Attached: whu-whu.jpg (196x256, 18K)

who said that I am being forced to read anything?
the problem is that nowadays you can´t enjoy comics or any from of entertainment without getting lectured about some leftwing propaganda.
it´s so fucking boring having to hear the same leftwing opinion over and over again and having nothing anymore to just enjoy and relax.
also I used to like spider-man a lot back in the day but nowadays everything with him has been touched by sjws. I wish I could get back the old character and stories that I used to love reading about

>the problem is that nowadays you can´t enjoy comics or any from of entertainment without getting lectured about some leftwing propaganda.
To me that just sounds like you're completely out of touch and your staunch allegiance to ideologies made you unable to enjoy anything beyond "propaganda". Now you see minorities and think it's forced pandering, the throwaway mention of the state of the city as "politics" and that Spider-Man allows himself to be helped by citizens (something that has been quite normal for decades of histories) to be an agenda to demean white males.
In a word, get over yourself. There's nothing wrong about that page in particular, and I've seen more "offending" cases in more prominent books that have also had nothing worth fussing over.

HOW THE FUCK DOES THE BATMAN WHO LAUGHS KEEP SELLING THAT MUCH?

enjoy your dying industry

>And I hope friendly neighborhood spider-man climbs higher
Why? Have you read it? With all the shots faggot shots of boomerang in underwear and peter being written like some damsel in distress who needs to be saved by a super grandma it obviouse that Tom Taylor doesn’t like Spider-Man much. He just wants to write more feminist stuff like he did with „all new wolverine“ and that other sjw x-men run of his.

Not even him but
>"STOP LIKING WHAT I DON'T LIKE!"
And it's coming from a guy who doesn't like anything Cates is doing now but at least I'm not telling people what to do.

docotor strange, hulk, iron man daredevil and now spider-man ... all had black women show up recently to save them.
white straight male characters sure need ask black women for help a lot nowadays or have at least one scene where said black woman checks the white man privilege.
clearly no agenda there

>"STOP LIKING WHAT I DON'T LIKE!"
I don´t care one way or another. just trying to figure out if the Yea Forumsmblr meme is true and most of the anons here are either feminists or gay

>docotor strange, hulk, iron man daredevil and now spider-man ... all had black women show up recently to save them
The fuck are you talking about?
I can only speak for Doctor Strange and Immortal Hulk, and neither of these had black women "saving" them or helping them whatsoever. What a fucking imbecile.
>clearly no agenda there
No, there really isn't one, if you think a throwaway support character in Immortal Hulk is supposed to be saving him from Hell itself or a fucking ALIEN in Doctor Strange joining the efforts to save the city from Dormammu invading it is supposed to demean him. The only retard here is yourself.
The old mantra applies here: you cared enough to call people out for liking it when you could've ignored it.

Well at least they get to be in comics. Asians have token representation, unless they make the comics themselfs. But find me a slavic hero or even a slavic super villain or support character, you sometimes have to dig in to legacy characters created durning WWII to get one of those.

Ok, but if you never call it out you end up with a character you like, in my case Iceman, ending to be horrible, and only at first glance does it seem to be the gay thing. He is just a horrible writen character with a horrible characterisation. Both of them actually, with the older one being a lot worse, just because he gets more screen time.

If marvel wants more X character in their comics then why don't they create cool new characters that are X, anyway. Why do they have to mess up old characters for their fans.

that what you call "white privilage" I guess.
liberal just expect more from Slavic civilizations, that they are able to make their own comics and culture while black and Asians are apparently to stupid in their eyes for that and therefore need to be pandered to.
A liberal can look at a room full of Germans, Irish, English, French and Italians and the only thing that they will see is "white people with zero diversity"
modern day leftwing identity politics is some of the most racist thing america has ever produced

>If marvel wants more X character in their comics then why don't they create cool new characters that are X, anyway
The funny thing is that they already do, but then the complaint is about their existence at all: "why are they wasting paper in this literal who? Guarantee it won't last more than 6 issues!"
So you can't win with obseessed nerds, and it's a sterile discussion.

>If marvel wants more X character in their comics then why don't they create cool new characters that are X, anyway. Why do they have to mess up old characters for their fans.
because they only really care about destroying things that white men like. They don´t care about comics and never have. They don´t want to create new things that people might like, they only want to destroy. they have this ridicules world view that the nerd in the comic shop is part of some super secret all white men club that has secretly oppressed and discriminated against them for decades.
Now they think it´s their time to "take revenge"

>"why are they wasting paper in this literal who? Guarantee it won't last more than 6 issues!"
who is anons posting stuff like this on Yea Forums going to hurt those comics? sure they aren´t gonna buy them but can you really blame them for that if those comics are not meant to be read by white men?
>The funny thing is that they already do
also that is bullshit every single "diverse" character that marvel created came at the expense of an already established fan favorite white male character. there are all copy cats and massive marie sues that were created to replace the old white male once

Ok, I don't buy everything marvel produces, but from the expiriance I have is that the last thing cool they made with their stuff was the start of the ultimates, but that is more or less else world. A very good one, but an else world. Since then every new character their tried to do was horrible, and they are toping it off by destroying old characters. I mean the stuff they did to thor lore is horrible. Cpt Manverse makes no sense, people were ok with Ms Marvel , she even had fans, but when they gave her a buzz cut and the blue red suit she became impossible to be read.
Viv was interesting, and I generaly like the whole Vision mini series. But then what they did to her in champions was horrible.

They had a ton of legacy characters which they just destroyed. x23, icemen and in general all the young xmen, the young avangers. Runways were like a tumbler fanfiction in comic form.

I don't know maybe I missed some good characters, but it does not feel like it right now.

>sure they aren´t gonna buy them but can you really blame them for that if those comics are not meant to be read by white men?
And what's the big deal if they aren't? That's part of the problem here, you trying to make it as if you're the only audience and everything must cater to you. How about you just ignore them, and let people who would get a knack out of it get what they want? The market is huge for everyone.
Anyway no point talking to a retard like this who probably thinks he's fighting back against ess jay doubyas for complaining that his funny books don't have more white men in them. Feels like a waste of time specially considering I doubt you even buy what you read.
>"b-but I used to!"
Cool! But you aren't now.
>Viv was interesting, and I generaly like the whole Vision mini series. But then what they did to her in champions was horrible.
What, a change that lasted an arc? Big whoop, I'm sure everyone remembers!

Dude that is stupid, white men buy most of their merch. They would have to be retarded to do that. I don't know why they make comics the way they do it now, and we end up with something like miss America. I mean in the end The Mouse wants its money, and if comics stop doing money, they may end up just stop doing most of them, and then all those people that live out of the comic industry right now are going to have to look for another job. The D has a whole generation that lived with marvel movies, they don't need comics anymore to promote movies.

also I don't get the oppressed part. Comics were always a liberal thing, they were freaking liberal when they started. There was always a ton of women and minorities working on them, and just as many in them. I mean can someone really say that comics oppressed women when Xmen are a thing ?

>And what's the big deal if they aren't?
you are the one that seems to get triggered that white men don´t read sjw books judging by that line
also you really are either retarded or don´t have any argumetns and therefor refuse to counter this point.
both I and the other guy have pointed out that all marvel legacy characters came at the expense of characters that the old white male fans liked. so it´s only natural that old fans would compaling since tehy have nothign to read anymore.
nowadays don´t have any competent white male hoers anymore let alone actual likable supporting female character or support characters.
it´s all just feminist and sjw proganda 24/7 about how much white men suck and how the "future is female you biggoted white male scum"

the thing is Disney and most liberal elites have become so rich over the last 8 years that they can afford losing billions. only thing they really care about at this point is spreading their propaganda and influencing little children.
especially little boys are constantly bombarded nowadays how they all should feel ashamed of being born as a white men become trannies instead. masculinity has been pretty much outlawed where boys are being punished in school for being full of energy and acting competetive

Marketing. So many “exclusive” articles from DC heads hyping it up as if this character was a long lost beloved character.

Meanwhile actual good books get mum

Well if they do two type of books, new characters that suck and old characters that they change so much they are nothing like the character everyone loved, then it is kind of a hard to ignore. We are at a point where action comics are not about action, cool characters are no longer cool, but we have comics writen with a ton of talk and a sceen cut up that looks like a mock up for a sitcom.

This isn't even a sjw thing, As I said I liked Iceman for ages. I also happen to be gay. Iceman, both of them are horrible represenation of gay people. In fact I would even claim that if someone would want to make people dislike those who are gay, then writing Iceman the way they do it, is spot on. I mean if THE GAY are like iceman, it makes sense to hate them.

And it is not like Marvel havent done good gay characters in the past. They pulled off making an ahole gay character, that everyone loved because he was an ahole. Northstar was great, why can't we get more of characters like that.

There is like a milion and one good strong female characters in marvel comics, that also had great and intersting stories, and weren't carbon copies of each other. Right now you can read a book and you may as well stop checking who is talking what, because everyone is talking the same way, has the same view points.
Also there seems to be some strange obsession with food and ordering food in comic nowadays. Are all the writers on a diet 24/7 or something?

Well as much as I like to think that propaganda or ones own view point is important, in the end money is more important. Your views don't matter, if you don't have the cash to support it. Earning less money is a stupid thing to do.

I know a bit or two about being ashamed of stuff, but in the end if the comics are not ment for white men, and the generation that buys them now goes away. I doubt your suddenly going to get a market of women spending money on comic books, and if they will it aint going to be spend on super hero books, they will just buy some BL manga.

Seeing Spieder-man and the X-men so up there is weird, after all these years... I really need to catch up with them.

this. every women nowadays really get´s written like the same snarky marie sue who is always right and roles her eyes in frustration at how stupid and childish the male characters are
it´s also pretty telling that all female characters nowadays also look the same. masculine jawline, ugly looking costumes that covers up all their skin and flat chests

> 38. SHAZAM #3 (DC ENTERTAINMENT)
> 39. CAPTAIN MARVEL #2 (MARVEL COMICS)

I find this humorous for some reason.

Well I won't fight over female costumes in comic, not my fight to fight. I thank God that male costumes look better. Unless it is Iceman
