Dofus was great. The second half of Wakfu season 1 specifically was good, but the rest of the series wasn't.

I think what hurt it the most was how little time they spend on the world and learning about the setting. They spend too much time focusing on random characters with no depth, and hijinks.

Tristepin is basically Tot's self insert.

Ankama Animations is working (under the name of MadLab Animations) on Abraca. Tot was also searching fundings for the Welsh&Shedar series and an animating studio in Japan for 'Dragon Princess'.
They're also working with a recently opened studio by Thomas Romain in Japan, Studio No Borders, which made the background and setting designs for an anime recently, but should be working on their original series sooner or later.
Wakfu on the other hand is unfortunately going to stay dead for a while, that's for sure. But we may be getting a webcomic concluding the story in the meanwhile, since Tot wants to finish it before Waven releases.

It doesn't help that everyone from one class looks almost exactly the same. A big no no in setting design is not overly typify your species or nationalities. It's good for future-proofing for expansion.

You have to think of it more like classes from an rpg like Final Fantasy, where you identify someone's role quickly through their design. Since that's what they had in mind, they couldn't help it much.
They're trying to stay away a bit from that on Waven though. Since the game's economy will be based off skins, they want to make classes as diverse as possible (Cras using ranged weapons and not just bows, for instance).

I get people don't like Season 2, but it gave us Elaine and General Crazytits so I like it anyway.

FranceTV is up for a new season but they aren't willing to fund all of it. Netflix on the other hand turned down financing the series further, so now Ankama needs to find someone else to give them the million euros they're lacking.

Season 3 would be much better if Yugo would break through aging spell by force and stay as "teenager", rescue others from it with some bullshit so they would go back to previous state. Only technically. The Eliatrope/Dragon twins lose their memory when resurrected, so their old selves are practically dead. Same with how Kerub and his brother when they were brought back as kittens and were raised by Joris.

Immortality isn't always great either. Qilby was the exception to the memory lose rule and he went mad with boredom.

People always forget how fucking ass most of S1 actually was. Personally I think S3 was way better than S2, which was just a sewer of random, undirected ideas spraying in every direction. But S3 was also mediocre ship-pandering.

Made the characters gods, then did a whole season where they're petty and stupid so that you'd just barely want to see them succeed. Then the villains are even weaker, so the tribulations they present undermine the characters further.

They should do a boufball miniseries. Sports cartoons tend to do decent enough.

watched the first 15 or so episodes, expecting fun fun interactions between cat, hood and maid when all i got is wasting 2-3 minutes of each episode so they have a setup for him to start actually telling the story.
i was already pissed off at the episodic shit, but cutting it down to 11 AND wasting 2 minutes for the setup makes the story really boring because there's no suspense or anything because they have to wrap up the whole thing in 8 minutes total.

We can't, yet. They still have to make the comic. It's gonna be by Sassine, the artist of the Wakfu manga, who's working on the latest tome and will work on the webcomic as soon as he finishes that.

They stopped production for Wakfu S3 and then started again after it, if I recall correctly.

People tend to forget despite all his stories being about solving quests with bumbling shenanigans, Kerubi is actually a strong hero/adventurer, otherwise he wouldn't have garnered a reputation and amassed so much artifacts.
