See, a pot belly is a way to make a woman look more relaxed. If they have a tight waist or god forbid if they have a six pack, odds are they're standing straight up at all times with perfect posture and that just looks tense and exhausting. A little bit of a slouch makes them more relatable, and if it's animated WELL, slouching creates a belly because that's just how anatomy works.
