Dungeon crawling is fun to DO. It isn't fun to watch, at all. Roleplaying in general is basically a compromised version of storytelling where you share your imagination so everyone can join in and have an impact on a story, with dungeon crawling being the most bog standard version of it because its just "SO X HAPPENS WHAT WOULD YOU DO GAMERS"
As a standalone story with a singular author that you watch as an audience its objectively an inferior kind of storytelling that just fucking sucks, nothing in this pilot was remotely memorable, its one note, it fucking blows dude.
Which sucks because conan the barbarian, low fantasy stories are fucking great and have a good history with good stories to take inspiration from, and not even videogames really do them any justice.

Is the Lizard Wizard supposed to be a cyclops or not? At first I thought the appearance of his second eye in some scenes was a repeated animation error, but now I’m starting to think it’s just not visible in some shots because of a stylistic choice, and I can’t tell which it is.
