Well that was certainly a comic.
Joshua Evans
Thanks for storytiming. How many volumes are there?
Adrian Lewis
He was checking to see if she could take his giant retard dong
Wyatt Garcia
How is there a second part to this? I love your story times
Anthony Evans
Oh.
Oh wow.

Is it wrong I'm more interested in these pages than the comic?

WTF how do yo even continue after all that?!

Prequel/parallel story.

Well then.
Camden Fisher
"Let me axe you a question real quick."

It's kinda hilarious
Jaxon Reyes
I was surprised that all the giants were killed. I thought maybe just the king would die, and we'd have to deal with Petit trying to establish himself in the court. Or maybe the "advanced" humans who lived beyond the giant kingdom's borders would have finally created weaponry capable of challenging the giants. So I am curious at where this story will go.
I find it kind of strange that the first thing the humans did was eat the giants. Were they all starving (since it most take up a lot of resources to feed all those giants.) Maybe instead of burying/cremating their dead, the giants just leave them out for the "worms" to take care of so the humans are accustomed to it? They called it "sacred flesh" instead of mentioning anything about revenge.
I think three so far, I am unsure if the 3rd volume is translated yet.
Might see how Petit finds his new place in this land. Technically, he'd be the new king since every giant is dead but I doubt the humans would want to obey a lone runt giant. Will he be a volcel or will he take a gamble on having a kid with his waifu hoping it won't kill her with a giant baby? The Founder said his progeny will provide him his revenge on the mysterious "original giants" who he hated. So many we'll see these original giants? I haven't read the volume 2 yet, so it's a mystery to me as well.
Bentley Reed
Thanks for the dump
Jace Richardson
>instead of mentioning anything about revenge.
They probably don't care about the cattle and servants getting eaten, I'm thinking they're like lower class slaves
Christopher Foster
Super hot.
Bentley Gonzalez
Absolutely loved it, thanks for sharing this OP
James Hall
This would make a great 80's dark fantasy movie. The court reminds me of an R-rated Skeksis among other things.
Do you know if we have rips, even in raw, of tome 3?
Jaxson Walker
I'm not sure if Tome 3 is out yet.
Ryan Powell
So cannibalism is pretty much the guaranteed cause of their degeneration?
Connor Gutierrez
>I find it kind of strange that the first thing the humans did was eat the giants
The servent takes after the master.
They copied what they knew.
Evan Thomas
After the undisputed success of Petit, the Ogre Gods universe continues with a new story, that of Yori, known as Half Blood. This story begins before Petit's and ends at the same time. The Noble-Borns dominate the kingdom at the foot of the Castle of the Ogre Gods and govern in their name. Although born among them, Yori's place is not obvious: although his father - a high official - loves him, he is none the less a bastard, the son of the favorite, a high-class courtesan. His grace and intelligence constantly provoke the hatred of his legitimate half-brothers, Yori and his mother end up in the slums of the capital. Yori is prepared to do anything to protect her: forced to live off his charms, Yori begins an ascent which will lead him again, years later, to the entourage of the Chamberlain and to the terrible giants of the mountain. But, by dint of compromise, does he risk losing what is most precious about him, and becoming worse than the very people who always belittled him?
Christian Harris
ya, that´s how we do it.
Nolan Howard
> The world is a plate
indeed
Connor Adams
It's a nice idea but the scale is all kinds of fucked up. The normal humans here Are much larger than the ones here . They shoulda kept it more consistent
Asher Lee
>our plate
That motto can't be very old. It's only with the godking that they started eating humans.
Juan Long
It's out since last year.if you provide me the raw, i could get around a translation.
Tome 3 tells the story of Petit being helped by a man called Lours trying to save his girlfriend from the chambellan who took control of the kingdom or something
Bentley Evans
Got Mega link?
Adam Lopez
He ruled for more than a hundred years.
Logan Jackson
I thought it was the inbreeding, which finally produced the right combination of small and normal genes to have the ancestor’s deformity.
Isaiah Gutierrez
I don't know if its good or not yet but I can't stop reading. It's a very weird comic
Parker Nguyen
Nice piece of artwork. Degenerate and brutish like medieval fairy tales.
Hunter Nelson
They come to that conclusion within the story, but a more obvious link can be made with cannibalism.
They kept growing until they came to the godking, who started cannibalism, at which point they immediately started shrinking every generation.
Jason Anderson
Wait, what?
Justin Torres
Thanks for the storytime Misha. Been reading what you've posted since Beautiful Darkness. Interesting stories that aren't your average capeshit, I like them.
Joshua Cooper
I don't think they resented the giants in anyway. This has happarently been going on for many centuries, they probably just think having your gods eat you is just the way life is. The domestic servants of the gods, on the other hands, have to deal with the gods' pettiness, retardeness, shit and piss on a daily basis, so they don't deify the giants the way outsiders do.
They might've even think the gods meant for this to happen, that they sacrificed themsevels and gave up their flesh, because the gods must've seemed so powerful that they could not err.
Angel Hill
This comic was clearly inspired by Shingeki No Kyojin but it's very good.
Asher Bell
Thanks, OP. Always wanted to read this
Connor Perez
>but it's very good.
I think you mean better.
This is WAAAAAY better than Attack on Titan.
Landon Wood
It didn't make me think of Attack on Titan at all, but now that you've said that I can see it. I wouldn't be surprised if the writer for Petit came up with the idea independently however, it is much better in every way.
Ian Taylor
Thanks for the storytime Misha
William Myers
I don’t see it
Cooper Roberts
The mom makes things to me.
Brody Gomez
>They called it "sacred flesh" instead of mentioning anything about revenge.
Based on the context from the little stories included it really seems like the people living under the castle haven't even seen the giants in the first place (I mean they literally think the giant king is a gift of free meat rather than their ruler) and the common story here being that the castle is home to their gods. We see the servants have their own city within the walls and the one story mentions how the human farm is connected to the castle via a tunnel so honestly the rest of the valley seems to have no clue about what even goes on there.
I really enjoy how the start shows us the giants as the top rung and the peak of their size based society and the second we get the queen going into the aunts quarters we already see that they're actually living in the shadows of some bigger long lost fucks.
Jace Hughes
That was kinda fucked up.
Ryan King
What does it have to do with Attack on Titan, besides there being maneating giants? Those figure in many fairytales.
The fat giants sitting at their tables where human servants walk around, reminds me of Doré's illustrations for Gargantua and Pantagruel.
Justin Taylor
Lmao no. Ogre stories are famous in France. Also Rabelais and his Gargantua.
Christopher Flores
>So maybe we'll see these original giants?
Coor probably found them already and they were long dead since they most likely suffered from the same decline that Petit's giants were suffering from.
Zachary Ross
I don't really see it, outside of the purely superficial aspects (giants, walled city, etc). Honestly has more in common with Greek/Roman mythology.
Isaac Powell
Nope, in fact it's inferior to SNK (at least the manga).
The Founder was directly taken from SNK, The Founder Titan, and our protagonist is considered The new Founder just like Eren. And the giants eat humans, if you can't see it then it's because you don't want to see it.
Austin White
The giants are ogres. It's standard european fairytales.
The founder thing, the whole ancestors' thing, is clearly based on European's royalty tendency to marry within their own families and the ensuing decay of which the late Hapsburgs are the most iconic example.
Aaron Morgan
Imagine being this much of an incultured swine to think SNK invented ogres
Caleb Evans
It's obvious as hell user, The Founder was clearly took from The Founder TItan, the original Titan in Shingeki No Kyojin, this founder Titan is considered a King and his lineage a royal lineage, in this story the giants are a royal lineage. The story made literal the expression "raised as cattle" which is used all the time in SNK. Our protagonist takes his place as the new Founder and just like Eren Jaeger he can decide if he is going to be the destruction of his people or the salvation of them even when he is apparently weaker than all the other characters. Just like Eren Jaeger this character has a parent which put a mission of him because he was born to achieve great changes even when he didn't want that mission. The Founder just like Ymir took advantage of his power to subjet the people around them beginning a cursed family.
Logan Phillips
It was taken directly of SNK, that's all, now calm down, big kids accept with maturity when something that they want was inspired in the work of another author and they don't care about it.
Carson Gonzalez
>The founder thing, the whole ancestors' thing, is clearly based on European's royalty tendency to marry within their own families and the ensuing decay of which the late Hapsburgs are the most iconic example.
There is a background about royal families, yeah but the whole idea of giant Founder of misterious origins for the common people is still clearly inspired by SNK. The whole setting in that manga was probably the main "spark" behind the creation of this comic and there is nothing wrong with it, it doesn't lose quality because that.
Elijah Turner
Gabriel Taylor
Another idea taken directly from SNK, the protagonist wanted to know what was beyond the castle, the myth about the Ocean appears in the story.
Ryder Parker
I thought the origin story in SnK was that Ymir made a deal with the devil or some shit? Admittedly, I'm not caught up on the latest chapters.
Lincoln Brown
Don't worry Yelena you don't need to get angry just because someone took SNK as reference to create its own story, in fact it's good, it makes clear that your work influenced other people.
Kayden King
/aotg/tards are the worst.
Asher Phillips
The other user talking about Rabelais is actually right. This has vastly more in common with Gargantua and Pantagruel than with SnK. Right down to the wife dying giving birth to a giant son and the giants being a royal family.
Aiden Hernandez
"No one knows for sure what's the origin of Ymir and her power". There are legends and opinions in the manga but there isn't a defined origin, maybe it will be revealed later in the story (I don't think so) but the idea of a mistery behind the origin of the Founder is still inspired by SNK.
Sebastian Sanders
Shh... hush little baby don't say a word.
Christian Ward
It's not entirely SNK, sure there are other influences but there is SNK too in the story. I don't know why is it so hard to accept it for you guys.
Anthony Robinson
thanks op gonna buy this.
eagerly awaiting vol 2 storytime
Julian James
I present you, Garugantua no kyojin, by Isayama Hajime.
Adam King
I like the narrative but this guy is Armin Arlet with his fascination with the outside world and just like SNK, the giants has less technology than the humanity outside their kingdom.
Jason Price
I'm gonna fucking murder you.
Wyatt King
This is unimportant, there are still many other elements taken from SNK, I don't consider SNK the only story with giant cannibals user, but it was an inspiration for this story even if this wasn't the only one.
Gabriel Reed
Faggot and underage.
Ethan Robinson
I really don't see it. It's obviously heavily inspired by Gargantua, but dialed up to 11. I mean, the entire premise is basically taken from Rabelais' works with a bit of Greco-Roman mythology for some of the backstory lore.
Ryder Hughes
You don't WANT see it, that's all.
Leo Morales
cozy
Hunter Williams
Neat.
Ryan Thompson
it's pregancy fetish fuel instead, i guess
Carson Martinez
He should fuck his mom. She can take it.
It's the best for everyone.
Easton Richardson
Why is it so hard to believe that a french comic was inspired by a classic french novel?
Aiden Powell
So, he only went after his cousin just to avoid his true love going through the possible death of his giant children?
Josiah Turner
Why is it so hard to believe that a comic was partly inspired in a manga sold around all the world (The second most sold manga worldwide)? Do you think that France didn't watch anime?
Camden Bennett
*by
Alexander Hill
Because it has a fuck load more in common with Gargantua and Pantagruel. The main plot only superficially resembles the backstory of SnK, which itself is heavily inspired by existing mythology.
Zachary Mitchell
Lie, that emphasis on the ocean and other elements that I mentioned were clearly inspired by SNK. That's all. But it doesn't reduce the quality of the product.
Lincoln Adams
Fuck mate, that story is as old as time. Obviously never read Homer's stuff about Okeanos. Ever read Gulliver's Travels?
Samuel Rodriguez
>Obviously never read Homer's stuff about Okeanos. Ever read Gulliver's Travels?
Nothing of that is important for this story, that idea was taken from SNK.
Luke Stewart
And SNK got most of its ideas from Gargantua and Pantagruel, clearly.
But it's okay, your manga has zip line jet packs so that means...oh wait there wasn't any of that in this comic.
Hmmm...
Nathan Reed
lol, okay mate. Isayama invented people being interesting in shit across the sea
Wyatt Diaz
Enough about all this bullshit. Why didn’t the queen just kill that blonde bitch boy when he talked back?
Jason Sanchez
Because he's in the sequel
Brandon Ross
Ignore him. He's like those 40k guys who kept whining over a decade ago about how the COG's in Gears of War stole their idea from the Space Marines.
Also did anyone else notice the fucking similar appearance between the King and Andre the Giant?
Colton Peterson
Wait he is? Is he the main dude or does he just have another role to play.
Jacob Ward
You guys have a problem, I don't know what is it (maybe a complex of inferiority), but I'm boring. Bye
Lincoln Price
I did! You think it’s because Andre spent a lot of his days in France and even had his only kid there?
Ethan Brooks
>but I'm boring. Bye
Yes you are, bye.
Well that and the massive cock.
Leo Sullivan
Judging by the cover, he's either the main dude or the main dude's father
Alexander Morgan
Yep
You know, we don't see if she survived or not.
Gabriel Evans
whens the second storytime?
Daniel Fisher
I think she ran away from the caste. Not the kingdom itself though.
Liam Williams
I've a feeling that the incest kid is going to bite Petit in the ass
Benjamin Collins
Did he even succeed in knocking her up? Like, he would only be able to finish right in her folds.
James Fisher
He has the same beauty mark so I think it’s him. The 2 books apparently run side by side time wise.
Asher Brown
Is th is another part?!
Daniel Garcia
Yeah, OP is gonna storytime it as well.
Eli Gutierrez
>Half-Blood
Oh, shit
Jacob Reyes
Why does this make my pee pee hard
Ryan Jones
So, the Founder just wanted to create an army of giants to go after the Kingdom that shunned him. The kingdom is most likely the one Coor found in ruins. The giants seem to be growing smaller due to the consumption of human flesh.
Would Petit's babies be giants as well? Or is he actually a human born from the curse of cannibalism?
Oliver Roberts
wait why did this happen? he got captured then returned why is she upset
Josiah Garcia
Gonna start up the volume 2 storytime soon, stay tuned.
That fallen giant city might have been another "splinter" from a main group of giants. I don't think we'll ever truly know since I don't think Coor investigated the city much.
The old lady said "what am imbicel" while she was eating him, so I think the commonfolk have some idea of the giants being a bunch of inbred retards, but not really being able to do much about it since the giants still have biblical 'tard strength.
I don't think "the world" refers to humanity, just the world's creatures in general.
I think the cannibalism is symbolic of the clan's corruption than the cause. After a generation or two of inbreeding, the family can still be ok, but eventually the faulty genetics just keep piling on. How many generations from the Founder was the god-king?
>the frogs have been ripping off Attack on Titan since the 16th century
Wtf I hate France now
She didn't want him fucking around outside where it's unsafe.
Adrian Johnson
I think the imbecile comment is towards Petit for just staring at his parents being eaten. The old lady was annoyed that he didn't take what was offered.
Jack Nguyen
Volume 2 storytime is ready go go go:
Carter Davis
>The old lady said "what am imbicel" while she was eating him
pay attention man
she was calling Petit an imbecil for turning down the gift off divine flesh
Connor Foster
My bad, I thought she was talking to someone else offscreen not Petit.
Eli Myers
Jesus
Angel Cook
>The armies marched off, crossing the country's borders, raping and pillaging the cities.
How did that work? Wouldnt the women be too small?
Nathan Ramirez
The giants have human soldiers too.
Brayden Watson
>Frot sound effects
Brilliant.
Asher Morgan
>put woman into palm
>stroke your cock
>continue until woman turns into smear
>use blood as lube
Josiah Foster
>protagonist wants to know what's beyond the castle
>idea from SNK
Are you literally fucking retarded if you think the very basic idea of "what is there beyond the border" was thought up by SNK?
Seriously how fucking stupid and/or ignorant can you get, holy hell
Gabriel Watson
Like fucking hell with the art that's a direct reference to Cristoffer Columbus or whoever.
"Explorers is a concept thought up the first time ever by SNK", what the actual fuck.
Elijah Wilson
Vol2 is about this guy and the little between stories is about the guys in his position
Jaxson Perry
oh, Émione.
Wyatt Gomez
MY PAL PETIT EATING HIS FAT DOWN SYNDROME COUSIN PUSSY FOR LOVE
THE ABSOLUTE MAD MAN
THE LEGEND, ABSOLUTE LEGEND
Jose Diaz
PUBERTY STRIKES
Ian Carter
how fucking fat is she to not notice labor pains??
Adam Collins
Its not that she's fat its that the baby was so small compared to her that there was no pain.
Jonathan Martinez
huh huh huh
James Morris
now kith
Nicholas Bennett
sweet home alabama
Brody Powell
mmmm vore
so did she cuck him Yea Forums?
Evan Rodriguez
If you take notice of the vast size difference between the human-sized baby and the massive giant mother, the "labor pains" are kinda like birthing a pea vs actually birthing a baby, as in nothing remarkable
Luke Edwards
Nah, he's his son, just got the recessive small gene that has been in the family since The Founder.
Leo Richardson
look at this smug motherfucker
Nathaniel Martinez
Cannibalism doesn't make you grow small, it's the inbreeding fucking them up.
Austin Hernandez
this comic is so weird
James Baker
I actually feel kind of sorry for her... she didn't deserve that.
Lincoln Carter
I guess the oddysea is also inspired by SNK?
Ethan Jackson
>a complex of inferiority
Ethan Barnes
The art reminds me a lot of Vivès', if only in more precise and detailed.
Juan Miller
They've been inbreeding since the beginning.
The degeneration, in both intelligence and size, started exactly at the god king.
Grayson Jenkins
It takes a few generations for the genetic defects to pile up.
Chase Turner
Well that was fucking weird. In a good way, though. Thanks for sharing.
Isaac Ross
weeaboos: "the whole concept of 'mystery' in this french comic book is clearly inspired by the japanese manga 'where are my sister's panties, I need them to fight robotman2000?'"
Jose Gonzalez
True but cannibalism also has even bigger side effects. Normally though you get prions.
Daniel Parker
Well this was one weird as hell comic
Jaxon Nguyen
cannibalism affects your offspring? Eating human meat fucks up your DNA?
David Rodriguez
Looking forward to tomorrow's storytime, OP.
If it takes us back to The Farm I can only imagine how fucking horrible it's going to be.
Jackson Williams
It's so strange how many of the humans just accept the ogres eating them, or their kind. The concept of The Royal Farm is really chilling. I wonder if the general populace knew about it?
Carter Reed
Poor Yori. Bad move, Emione, you shouldn't cripple the people who know your biggest secrets for no reason, it's bad for loyalty
Samuel Cooper
No you moron, SNK was "inspired" by European stories of man-eating giants, Euro folklore, history, architecture etc, the same stuff that inspired this comic, like Rabelais etc. You have it completely backwards.
Ryan Phillips
Spermies can live 5 days inside the woman and the launch gives 'em a 10 inch start.
Adam Sanders
The farm was secret and eating humans was something the (seemingly immortal) God-King did to stand above everyone else. The other ogres started emulating him publically after he died.
Austin Reed
It can lead to essentially mad cow disease and a host of other issues.
Jack Gray
The giants have been regressing not just in size, but also in intelligence, as we can see in her sons.
Owen Green
Why cant the mother be the one to breed with humans? Seems much easier...
Jaxon Gonzalez
Why can't he breed his mother ?
Brayden Cooper
About 10% of prion diseases are inherited. You are more likely to get a prion disease by eating someone who has a prion disease though.
Maybe the humans themselves are slightly diseased and the giants, over their long lives, build up a ton of protein misfoldings.
It could be both inherited from maneating ancestors and acquired from maneating.
Brandon Thomas
What if her husband finds out?
What if it works and she then balloons to her death?
What if it doesn't work but she still ends up with a human child she can't bear to kill and so is stuck guarding one more useless kid?
Isaiah Bailey
anal dude
Jeremiah Evans
another porn comic made by french.
*sigh*
Landon Butler
This'll come in handy
