I'm currently oblivious to time and only really register when the work week ends by when a new episode of Doom Patrol is on. Am I okay, bros?

At least you have that

I thought it was Thursday

You guys ready for next week's episode - Doom Patrol Patrol?

Jane, Larry and Rita visit a school where the original Doom Patrol has retired. Meanwhile, Cliff & Vic bond over their mutual “father issues.”

torrent?

>Mento
Well shit

episode summaries are back, though we dont get a silly title

Attached: doooom.jpg (1363x761, 268K)

Man this show is the gift that just keeps giving.
Who's next, Flex Mentallo? Lodestone?

Flex, Danny the Street, and Dorothy have been confirmed as has Tempest I think

So is this team actually from the comics or just a dig at the 60´s outfits?

where mega

>original doom patrol
Who?

Teaser didn't give any names or show powers. Right might be Celsius which I'm totally guessing just because she's Indian, I'm sure somebody more familiar with the comics might be able to pick out the guy with the helmet. Girl on the left is too nondescript.

How do you recognise Celsius and not Mento?

Only other "big" name I can think off to add is Lodestone? But she's kinda nondescript outside of what happens in Morrison's run which they're probably not going to do.

>its a cockroach episode

Thank you based God

what a weird episode

Welcome to doom patrol

Fuck, I hate Jane.

I have no idea how they did, he was the only one I could guess. Though I'm pretty casual

Ironically, the jane in grant Morrison doom patrol seems more level headed

The actress is weak as fuck and the character is just annoying.

At least robotman balances it out

why did cyborg get all upsetti about his arm going boom if it can just fix itself? I was hoping we might get a bit more of the re-creator, though the cock-eyed staring contest was pretty good.

Wait is the episode out yet?

Implication seemed to be that auto-repairs are tied to his SOS system to tell his dad something went down, and there's no way to override it. Which is why he was trying to patch up his wounds from the last episode, compared to when the button was pressed and his wounds just started healing in seconds. Given everything with the whole jet thing in Puppet Patrol and the description of next week's episode where he bonds with Cliff about dad issues, he's probably just trying to prove himself and show he doesn't need his dad's help all the time.

6am Pacific every Friday through to May 24th. Takes anywhere from 30 minutes to a few hours for it to be pirated.

I think when he uses it the more mechanized his body gets. In the end of the episode it hinted at that.

torrent or mega I will take either

>We should do something...something special.
Yes. YES!

What if Elliot told Rita he didn't want to die a virgin?

I DON'T FUCKING KNOW!

That's definetly what he was about to say.

When does the MEGA usually get updated?

God, I want to suck her big mommy boobies so badly.

The redeeming quality is that her actress is exceptionally fuckable.

Don't we all?

Attached: April_Bowlby (63).jpg (1920x1080, 823K)

Eh. She's hot in TAAHM, but she's just regular attractive woman hot.

In Doom Patrol she's MOMMY hot

the big problem with Jane so far and I hate saying this is trying to get more drama with Cliff. Like Cliff is trying to understand what's going on in serious circumstance and Jane just is this wall of bitchiness. Rita who I though would be the one I hate is trying to help and not being able to is just more enduring than bitch who makes it hard for everyone. It doesn't help that Hammerhead is used more often than even the comics.

>those titty veins
M O M M Y

I'm hoping there's payoff to that Rita doing porn thing that was mentioned in the first episode. That waitress seemed damn sure that it was Rita.

Willoughby is way better for the tone of the Morrison comics, and for the tone of this show, than John Constantine would be. Con-job is way too neat and refined, even as scummy as he is, to fit in with something like the shit Willoughby does.

why can't he go back and say it now that he was re-created?

Not to mention the Titans episode. Something fucky is going on with Rita and the Chief that’s only being hinted at.

>tfw no pity sex with mommy as she gently and didactically takes your virginity
FUCK

Attached: rita.jpg (640x960, 46K)

Why does Rita eat so much?

fuel for her powers

You remember that conversation she has about how much control she had to exert over herself while she was a film star? She was on a strict diet and exercise regime most of her life, and now that she can shape herself however she likes, now she doesn’t have to worry about how much, or what, she eats.

I'm assuming it's because her mass is that of a giant meat blob she needs food to match the mass.

So, Vic’s organic damage doesn’t get repaired, it just gets replaced with cybernetics? So, eventually Cyborg will just be a more advanced version of Cliff?

Shit my bad guys, forgot this was today. Good news is my internet seems to be working this week. Uploading it here right now

Hm... No.

Nope.

I-I guess I'll start jerking off then.

Yep, that's why he wants to hold on to his humanity so much

Yeah, Jane's painting also showed that

No episode next week, why?

youtube.com/watch?v=fWOoNI1lb-0

Preview for next week's episode.

You'd better!

Well that's horrifying. And his dad's completely in support of him just straight up ditching his humanity. Poor fuckin bastard.

>19 minutes.
I don’t get it. Is that a reference, or something somebody says in the trailer, or what?
It’s been over an hour since the thread was made, so I doubt you were talking about some real thing happening, and if you actually were, you were full of shit.

No. Grid.

>That DK shirt

Also, Vic's prosthetics look a lot better when he doesn't have his track suit zippped up.

No, deep down you just want Rita to be your mommy gf

Where's beast boy?

Attached: batcavetwo.jpg (2326x1833, 104K)

Grid was just an AI. He wasn’t a brain in a jar like Cliff is, and like Vic will be.

Doom Patrol Patrol is next week, hence the "7 days" counter on the top left. The "coming on [date]" for the other ones are just placeholder descriptions that don't get filled in until the next episode airs.

Can I interest you in some documentation about our lord and savior, the Re-Creator?

Attached: rec.jpg (1113x506, 40K)

I want to join the cult of the re-creator.

So i heard the first two episodes are super solid
How is the rest of the season so far?

Excellent. Right up there with Legion in terms of the best comics adaptation on tv.

The rewritten book is cute, CUTE!

Just when the search for niles caulder was about to get boring, he shows up in the flesh to show why they care. What a good move.

Legion season one was great, but season two was really mixed. Hoping they stick the landing with the final season

Thanks.

At this point, your best bet is him showing in the last episode as cross advertising to the second season of titans.

>Assuming his brain can't be replaced by cybernetics.

I want Dr. Harrison to suck my cock.

>Assuming his brain can't be replaced by cybernetics.

There it is. The most horrifying thing I'll read all day.

I doubt Silas´ goal in this universe is to make victor human again.

Ah shit Mento is here.

It wasn't a Larry episode

>Someone mentioned last episodes thread that the bus should just come back with no explanation after getting abandoned during the roadtrip.
>The bus came back this episode with no explanation.

You know, seeing Nobody in the hospital really sold me on the appearance. More so than the heavily shadowed bumping the lamp they did in the back of the bus. It has this uncanny feel to it and I’m just enjoying the hell out of the character now that they’re comcortable using him more.

Isn't that always the case for Cyborg?

Get on board the magic short bus

>The horse ghost fancies the Chief
It's the little things.

The only thing larry did was talk to niles about his issues, which we already know. Now we are about to see if niles' reply will help him.

So Nobody's power is outright being the narrator?

still not explained what are his powers

With every passing episode I feel like this adaption of Jane is just plain bad. I want to see my fractured persons helping each other and tv!Jane is too much of a dick 24/7.

That’ll probably be her character arc

God damnit that made me spill my drink laughing too hard

Just call it being able to control the narrative.

No. in Cyborg's solo series written by David Walker and during the Darkseid War in Justice league his human tissues began to grow back.

That makes absolutely no sense. But then again "Motherbox Technology lol" is some of the laziest shit put to paper.

It's not great, every episode I keep hoping they'll turn it around because they spend so much time on her, she's gotten the most screentime and backstory of everyone post episode 1 and it just keeps falling flat every time.

Who cares though, they somehow made Cyborg fun, CYBORG, so once they find whatever brainjuice upgrade magic that let that happen again, I'm sure they'll turn it around.

>his human tissues began to grow back.

Like his... chest? Bones? Organs?

How the fuck would that work and why would we keep that around when this is more interesting?

Because they realized they had to do something different to finally make Cyborg interesting, and it worked

In the comics she's a lot more carefree and her personalities have more variety. So far we've had:
>Regular, angry Jane
>Angrier Jane
>Angrier Jane that swears a lot
>Angrier Jane with a bad pitch effect
>Annoying Jane
>Annoying Jane with a bad British accent
>On fire Jane
>Teleport and fuck off right after Jane

Robotman, Rita and Cyborg seem to be written with a lot of care and passion.

Meanwhile, Larry has been on the same step of his character arc since episode 1 and shows no sign of progress, while Jane has been far too moody in ALL of her personalities and doesn't even seem half as burdened as she should be by her broken psyche.

I really hope they adapt the issue where Cliff enters the underground and maybe that leads to Jane being more open towards him and not just be bitching all the time, no matter the personality.

Larry and Cliff its easy to see why.
Rita i believe its because of her powers. They probably dont died and grow like normal humans.
Jane probably has multiple personas who has ageless powers thus keeoing her body from aging.

And Chief?
I hope they adapt the Immortus thing

>Regular, angry Jane
Regular Jane was pretty meek in the comics, at least in the Morrison run, haven't read the latest one, which I feel is a personality of hers that is direly missing. If we got the "Come in out of the rain" finale with this Jane I'd feel nothing, while I cried like a baby when that happened at the end of the run in the comics.

Nah, they´re probably leaving it for an S2 alongside the brotherhood of evil.

That might be the answer. I can see that happening.

I also think the problem is cliff is so likable that you're constantly comparing her to others.

I also think the writers do not know what to do with her, even though pairing her with cliff makes her more likable by default. Kay saving cliff is also something everyone seems to be forgetting.

I thought that old nazi Von Fuchs was General Immortus.

What would you do for a hug from Mommy Rita?

>so once they find whatever brainjuice upgrade magic that let that happen again, I'm sure they'll turn it around.

>They used their last piece of Knowing Gum on "How do I make Cyborg fit into this fucking show?"

Motherf

We don't need stupid headbanging, blurry CGI, and an ambush makeover to show audience the personality shift. It's not a interdimensional infinite Rick. Does the actress has a tic disorder?

Attached: 1473735676_RickMortyPrint.JPG.3131f1375c3a6eb63aaa144bf9c9c441.jpg (846x576, 223K)

Yes. Yes I did. And I don't think it would have been played for laughs.

>I also think the problem is cliff is so likable that you're constantly comparing her to others.

It's not just Cliff, Rita is a haughty stubborn kinda bitchy actress subtype and she's still likeable. Larry was likeable too before he stalled hard with his character, but still is quite enjoyable with the cast and when they're not retreading his backstory again. The problem is Cliff is coming off with too many genuine moments getting thrown back in his face, there's just no way to make bitchy-Jane slinging a sandwich he carefully prepared back at him look good.

>Kay saving cliff is also something everyone seems to be forgetting.

I mean we're not forgetting it, it's just not a big deal. Like it's nice that she saved him but at the same time it's not like it was a major sacrifice or moment for her. It was a nice gesture but she goes right back to being pretty bad.

Is that Will Kemp has Mento? Nice.

The problem with jane is that the show uses her personalities to suit the plot, rather than have her shifting regularly between personalities until one lucks out in being the one that´s needed. It misses out in actual craziness rather than just agression, and the feeling that the entire plot is waiting for jane to conveniently solve it is pervasive.

This episode was a nice subversion of that pattern since it had jane being manipulated beyond her control, but she has yet to take one step in adressing her own problems.

I get the feeling Rita and Mento already knew each other. Also there is a possibility that Mr. Nobody is going around retconning shit like he did with the Re-creator.

Ed Asner is going to guest-star in Doom Patrol.

>youtu.be/z5DqB0cv8uw
>dcuniverse.com/news/ed-asner-guest-star-dc-universe-doom-patrol/

>Variety broke the news of Asner's casting. The actor is best known for his three-time Emmy Award-winning role as that iconic hard-nosed newsman with a heart of gold Lou Grant in the classic The Mary Tyler Moore Show. But he's endeared himself to today's comic and animation fans as the voice of Roland Daggett in Batman: The Animated Series, Granny Goodness in Superman: The Animated Series and Superman/Batman: Apocalypse, J. Jonah Jameson in the 1994 Spider-Man series, and Carl Fredricksen in Pixar's Up. Of course let's not forget his role as Santa Claus in the holiday classic Elf...

>In Doom Patrol, Asner will play Ed Garvey -- "a hospital patient who befriends Rita [a.k.a. Elasti-Woman] and helps her to confront the secrets of her past."

>All this Rita mommy fetish stuff
I can't blame you guys, it's been there since the beginning.

This old Jew is still working? That's pretty cool.
Any word on what episode he'll be in?

My expectations had lowered after the past two episodes but I loved this one, it was right back on form. Most fun I've had all week.

>chief is an abusive manipulative asshole who uses the doom patrol to his personal goals
>even lex luthor thinks he is an asshole
geez

Is it weird that I found Jane in her doctor persona more hot than her usual self?

Not remotely weird.

Pretty sure that's being ignored that, I guess the new canon is Gerard's Way Doom Patrol.

yeah i'm thinking she's best girl

>100% of his works get adaptation
Is him the most competent artist in the world?

Psycho ANALasis hehe

I disagree, Kay saving cliff in the face of working through her damage and facing a powerful enemy and get it to agree to let him go shows more character than almost anyone else besides vic this episode, and funny part is the impact is mostly off screen too.

You're focusing on people bitching about something they already don't like and missing what's there. Subtlety doesn't use neon arrows.

No, Jane's normal persona is just trashy and has no class.

And yet, his career high note from his perspective, is being a published comic book writer.

Dude, she's a fuckin punk. What do you expect? Punk lives matter.

Whatever, but class is hotter than punk.

Fuck off.

I think the thing I’m more impressed by than just about anything is how much Larry and Cliffe are able to emote despite neither of them able to change expression.

The physical and vocal performances there are absolutely excellent. It helps that Cliff's head design is so perfect.

Fuck Mento. Give me my beard hunter episode. That issue was pure comic book art.

How they get Cliff so right and Crazy Jane so wrong? In the comic she really acted bipolar and violent some times, but because she was a mess of a person who needed to heal, some times she was the right one to do the job other times she was frail and useless and needed the team to save her like the rest.

I have a feeling he may end up becoming Grid. At least temporarily.

can we stop hating Jane now? This was a good episode for her, explored her history, a new personality and some decent acting.

Certainly.

Sure, I don't hate Jane.
I just hate Hammerhead.

Absolutely. But then the poor bastard is vaporized before he even gets a chance to say anything. Jesus, this show.

Pretty good episode. Would've liked to have had a similar ending to the comic arc, not being able to stop the De-Creator but slowing him down to the point where the destruction isn't even noticeable, but Re-Creator was fine I guess. Would've been funny to have them stick around and occasionally be seen in the sky like Stormo and Goliad from Adventure Time. I liked Jane being the cult leader since they seem to be taking that cue from Way's run on DP. Was Dr. Harrison a personality from the comics or is that a show OC?

Lord we get Mento next episode. Hope they make him a charming bastard Rita can't help herself but falling for.

>fragile masculinity
HH's power should be ball crushing instead of basic superstrength

Why didn't the recreator bring back Elliot? Just to make Rita suffer?

Harrison was from Way's run. Was an personality created from witnessing/being exposed to the blood of the murdered God of Superheroes.

Wanted to cure Jane by separating her personalities into cultist host bodies.

Damn, it's amazing how little I remember of his run. Maybe if it came out at a more consistent schedule.

Either way, I'll have to reread that after I'm done going through Grant's again. The Rhea arc is kind of boring, but at least Flex is coming up.

Definitely

No.

>the episode that focuses most on Jane
>BY FAR the worst episode so far
wow, what a surprise

Also it's kinda weird that they tie things up by not really showing what the fuck is happening with the eyes. Did the re-creator not bring back Elliot because he got stuck in the staring contest?

I have no idea how Flex could work outside of his own story.

There really isn't a canon when it comes to the Doom Patrol. They just show up whenever. While Way's DP was the most recent series they had, their last appearance was the most recent issue of Doomsday Clock where they were drawn to resemble their show counterparts. Which is weird considering Way had Milk Wars turn Cliff human. But like I said, canon doesn't exactly gel with DP.

As long as he's wearing a speedo and has a heart of gold, I'm willing to see how they'll try.

You know what fair enough, but his meta context about the reality of stories and dropping another simulated reality atop of the 'real world' which is somehow even more complicated would derail any other narrative.

That's pretty consistent with the character going back to Morrison though. Morrison Chief was a raging asshole to everybody, and this was before it was revealed he engineered the incidents that created the Doom Patrol in the first place solely to experiment with human adversity, and in Rita's case solely because he wanted to humiliate her and make her subservient to him.

Von Fuchs is actually based on a villain from the classic Arnold Drake Doom Patrol that was basically a zombie in a box with mind control powers

redpill me on Mento

Attached: 1540740847674.gif (400x400, 1.19M)

Gerard Way is an ultra omega level nerd that only started MCR because he got fired from his job as an intern at DC in 2002, and just happened to get super lucky and live the fucking dream.

Gamble a stamp!

They've got Nobody and his meta-commentaries to try build up a self-awareness to the audience. Much like how they're taking on the weirdness slowly before going fully into shit like Danny the Street.

Your post reminds me I need to reread Man of Muscle Mystery because I sure as shit didn't understand a word of it last time.

I'm pretty sure his career high note is making an album that sold over three million copies to date

Later addition to the Doom Patrol cast in the original run. Later married Rita and adopted Beastboy. When the original team died he went batty and became a Teen Titans villain for a spell.

He's not really that memorable and is generally only brought back in stories revolving around Rita or Beast Boy.

Rich asshole wants to be a superhero, joins a crew of freaks, falls in love with team mom, adopts green animal boy, still a huge douche but sometimes an okay dad.

Well, he is her ex-husband in the comics. Good ol' Steve "MIND RAPE" Dayton.

I have a love-hate relationship with Man of Muscle Mystery because it's really just Morrison using it as an auto-biography and his realization that being an edgy young adult sucks. Flex is really only there as a paper thin veneer over the concept of "fun things are fun"

I unironically like Crazy Jane more than Legion

I wouldn't even be surprised if Mind Stealer or Mutant Master appear at some point.

>robot body
>give it musculature
the fuck

If Elliot was brought back at the end, I want Rita to adopt him.

After all, both his parents are dead.

Comic book artists can only draw naked men, that's why all the costumes are spandex.

Mindrape thing was Giffen right? It seems right up his ally to be that edgy.

Fuchs did say that his power involves tapping into other dimensions, and we know that he knows that the universe he's in is a TV show, so it wouldn't surprise me if his power is literally that he gets to narrate events and dictate what happens.

I think they just need to diversify the personalities they put on display. I thought that her portrayal of Doctor Harrison was rather fun, but so far they've had her play Hammerhead or personalities that are like Hammerhead the majority of the time and she just isn't pulling that off.

Okay... who's driving the bus in that shot?

She's still a really annoying character user. And I don't know where you got good acting from but this wasn't it. She's overshadowed by literally every other person on screen at any given time, including essentially a mummy and a robot that's literally incapable of expression.

you all hate jane because she's a strong woman. man-children can't handle real woman and cry all the time, pathetic

Rita is a strong woman. Jane is a bitch. Learn the difference it could save your life.

Jane's not a strong woman, she's a mentally unstable edgelord who can't confront her feelings or vulnerabilities without having a complete breakdown and who's too emotionally fragile to confide in other people.

Is that why I love Rita? Fuck off back to Tumblr

I like to think people can actually understand the cockroach and the world got to hear him arguing with a rat after the microphone landed next to him.

People disliked her from her first appearance user. That just compounded it.

Holy shit, I thought I was the only one who thought that. Morrison spends way too much time complaining about comics being too dark while simultaneously writing Talia raping Batman.

Didn't his internship end because he graduated from college?

When do we go full 90s?

Pretty sure left is Lodestone, middle is Mento obviously, and right is Celsius. I hope we get to see Lodestone become pic related

This response is proof you can have a wife and still be an incel

Just because you visit Yea Forums and can't get laid doesn't mean everyone who visits Yea Forums can't get laid.

I don't "hate" the character, but I'm not buying the multiple personality thing, because all the personalities are the fucking same, and the ones that are not "angry punk girl" are ridiculous because this woman can't act for shit.

That's my fetish.

And this response is proof that incel has officially joined "cuck" in the proud and vast library of words that now only mean "person I don't like"

Niles x Baphomet is my OTP.

>Brain: "And you called me a degenerate!"

That voice was something else.

I know right?

Eh. Just send in J'onn.

>Assuming his brain can't be replaced by cybernetics.
>There it is. The most horrifying thing I'll read all day.
Did you read the Grant Morrison Doom Patrol run? Cliff ends up exactly that way with his brain getting replaced by a machine after the Candlemaker demon crushes it.

It's been around ten years. I've got the TPBs, but I really want to finish my reading list before I go back to anything else.

This episode was pretty good for Jane.

That's more on how low the standards are for Jane.

I don't get the hate for Jane. Sure, she's the show's weakest link but even the show's worst isn't that bad. If she wasn't Hammerhead so often she'd be on the same level as Morrison's Jane who honestly wasn't that strong of a character either.

The only thing I find weird about her is that she's a stand in for Robotman's kid now, instead of a love interest.
And the fact that she hasn't aged for fucking 30 years but whatever, they're all genetic weirdos or literally made of metal so what can you do

She wasn't exactly Robotman's love interest in Morrison's run either, they explicitly said he was trying to be her father figure after all.

When's this airing in leafland?

if it's like Titans, a bit after the season is over on Netflix

April unless I got the wrong leafland

thanks
looks like Space got it (again CTV/Bell), which means it will be stuck on CraveTv

beard hunter episode making fun of punisher would be hilarious.

Chief probably due to the 9001 magic artifacts hes got stashed away

what are all these T files?

If science will have the technology to regrow human limbs in the near future why can't the Mother Box regrow Cyborg's human tissue?

But is this version of Cyborg even connected to the Motherbox?

>But is this version of Cyborg even connected to the Motherbox?
Doesn't seem like it since he can't teleport and shit

DC never put out a trade of the bronze age doom patrol appearances, like Kupperberg's showcase run and their few superman crossovers. It would also be cool if they released the 18 pre Morrison issues in trades

There was just a Bronze Age omnibus announced in the most recent solicitations containing all the pre-Moz stuff.
But the second silver-age paperback (set for a summer release) was cancelled. It seems like the department has been told by their overseers to stop printing stuff already recently printed in other formats.
Now we just have the hardcover omni for silver age Drake stuff.

oh my god its exactly what ive been looking for

Miles nothing, constantine chose him to send their thoughts and prayers directly to hell

Fuck yes I just ordered the first Silver Age volume. I wonder if DC's gonna continue the Young Animal run somehow.

Wait fuck how long after the HC are tbey releasing the tpb format for the Bronze Age? I'd hate to pay $100 for something I could get for $40 together at a later date.

>are tbey releasing the tpb format for the Bronze Age?
It seems like never.
They used to split them up, but most of those have been cancelled 2019-onwards. Apparently AT&T (the new owners of WB) has been asking the department "why are you releasing the same material twice?" and the department itself is going through restructuring.
Omnibuses might be the only way to collect this now.

Wait what?

Fuck AT&T, I work for those assholes. I used to have them as my cell company and they sucked then, too. I was super pissed when I heard they bought WB, this is exactly the kind of shit that they'd do.

Alan Moore's Swamp Thing. After CoIE Moore wrote the mystical follow up.
Constantine convinced a bunch of magic users (Sargon, Baron Winters, Doctor Occult, and Zatanna/Zatara) to hold a seance to help power up a team of fighters to directly face The Great Darkness (Swampy, Doctor Fate, Etrigan, Phantom Stranger, Spectre).
Constantine recuited Mento to serve as the eyes to tell them what was going on in Hell.
When the Great Darkness saw them, it lashed out and killed Sargon and Zatara.
At the end, Mento saw something after The Great Darkness and The Presence held hands, and became mind fucked.

The New Teen Titans crossovered with swamp thing, and constantine had mento connecting some of the most powerful magicians to fight the primordial darkness, and even though they basically did jack shit the feedback alone was brutal.

Specifically issues #49 and #50, but Dayton appeared a few issues before when John was recruiting him.
Here's his climax from #50

> Work week ending
Get a load of this pleb. Bet you have enough free time that you recognize time by the sun. Out of the way NEET!

i always hated how silly mento was drawn here, like its such a tragic moment but it just looks goofy

I bet Rita would totally do it too. She probably hasn't gotten laid in decades.

the entire arc was kinda rubbish. I liked the resolution with raven actually using her emphatic powers for good and garfield finnally reaching how to his adoptive dad, but that was it.

The entire arc was kinda rubbish. I liked the resolution with raven actually using her emphathy powers for good and garfield finally reaching out to his adoptive dad, but that was it.

I like the idea of mento struggling with like ptsd of all of this, eventually rejoing the doom patrol and feeling like a real part of the team now that he also has mental problems like the rest of them
