Disney for not including more shots of Violet's bare feet.

Their father for thinking a dude with laser vision that lived miles away could save him from a murderer outside his door.

The one named Evil Endeavor

The father for not putting the direct-line to superhero phones in the panic room.

The brother guy for not dating Violet

It worked out fine until supers were outlawed.

Me for watching this movie

....i honestly wasn't very clear on the villain's motivation

This. The father was a fucking idiot.

She was let down by supers as a child so now she hates all supers

Kind of like how Syndrome was let down by supers as a child so he hates all supers.

What a dogshit sequel fuck you brad bird

Believed Superheroes were holding us back, and for some reason decided to kill a lot of people to prove it

Braaaap!

Brad Bird.

I saw it as Supers were being used as a crutch. Normal people were relying on them blindly and that mentality was what got her parents killed.

If she showed the world that helped can't be trusted, can't be relied upon, then there's would be less of a desire to have them. Supers weren't holding us back we were holding ourselves back because supers existed.

The father and the government where idiots

Her parents got killed when she was a kid and she blames supers for it, because they weren't there in time to save her daddy from a home intruder.

It's a pretty paper thin motivation considering that it's a little more reasonable to hate the people who killed her dad, but whatever.

Bob for jobbing to the Underminer

I thought it was going to be a government conspiracy where they killed the biggest supporter of Supers.

I'm still upset that the Underminer shit never got resolved.

The writers

All their problems would have been solved with some hate sex

>Normal people were relying on them blindly and that mentality was what got her parents killed.
But supers were being viewed in a negative light by the public. She had her goal fulfilled already.

after the incident with syndrome and her brother's work with elastigirl that view was changing. The screenslaver stuff started after elastigirl started getting support

Wow no wonder her plan sucked so much ass, she put it together in like 2 months.

Actually wait no, that can't be right, because the Screenslaver stuff started on Elastigirl's first job.

Attached: 1529389459690.jpg (800x1131, 111K)

Except there were still super sympathizers like her brother out there. It only took two Elastigirl saves to make the entire world ready to get Supers out in public again

By committing a massive frame job and killing all the world leaders that'd be willing to support Supers again, she would've ensured no one supported supers ever again.

>It only took two Elastigirl saves to make the entire world ready to get Supers out in public again
But she was HELPING Elastigirl look good. I get that it was to punk everyone with the boat shit at the end but it was such a retarded way to go about it.

The point remained that the world was very close to backing supers again. If it hadn't been Elastigirl, it would've been someone else. Setting it up in Elastigirl's favor made sure she was on hand to sabotage her success later, instead of having a wild card she couldn't do anything about.

Did it? Maybe then push the cause to just them taking down syndrome and her brother putting support then. I'm sure her brother would have been talking about it for a good while while getting everything ready to start, would have given her ample time to plan a way to stop it.

Your mother for not aborting you.

You for making this thread.

GAMMA JACK WAS RIGHT AND THEY TRIED TO POISON HIM

Attached: Gammajack.png (1011x721, 813K)

Underminer is the final boss of the Incredibles.

He killed millions

Once they were outlawed he should have invested in a gun.

The man's a normie and his sister's an angsty heroin addict.

Dubs confirm, but I also suspect she could personally destroy or kill a few or whatever in a big, public way as a sort of twisted closure for herself over her dad as a more immediate way as well.

Disney, for tainting the legacy of the first movie

Who the fuck cares about their plot? This movie is about Helen's thicc ass.

Syndrome had legit motivation. It wasn't against all supers. His rage and insecurity was directed strictly at Mr. Incredible. The first movie was excellent because Buddy hated one person and he wanted to invent the means to humiliate him. Wanting oridinary people to be supers is noble but only if you positively frame it. Buddy didn't care about how his technology would revolutionize crime fighting in the end - he just want Me. Incredible to suffer.

Screen Slaver was a flop because she hated all supers for the incompetence of her dad. Like, god damn how stupid. They had two female leads, and neither was able to care the film out of mediocrity because the central premise made zero sense.

Their father.

Hey, just Lex Luthor!

was really expecting the twist of them being incestuous

In a kids movie?

a man can dream

Objectivism. She was a Randian Objectivist idiot with daddy issues, who wanted to ruin Supers for everyone because Supers operated contrary to her Objectivist ideas. Supers failed her, so she wanted to show the world the same failure to believe in them that she herself felt.
In other words, she's a thinly veiled take on Zack Snyder.

That would've been hot.

It is kinda embarrassing that her only friend is her manchild of a brother.

They were both traumatized by the death of their parents and took the opposite stances from it.
He feels supers going away killed his parents, she thinks supers existing at all killed her parents.
It’s a classic gun violence; “this wouldn’t have happened if there were no guns”/“I could have stopped this if I had more guns” scenario

>villain has a perfect, flawlessly sensible point in that there is absolutely nothing about having super powers that somehow magically qualifies a person for law enforcement or makes them worthy of public adoration
>waste everyone's time writing a hack shit origin story where their parents and a gang of murderous burglars have to act like complete fucking retards

both of them

>No ex super as a villian for the sequel
It didn't have to be Gamma Jack but come the fuck on.

the writers

seriously got jamie/circe vibes from them

Artists for not making better porn of best girl and wasting the opportunity.

No lie, he was pretty cute.

Attached: hot.jpg (261x499, 16K)

As usual it was the woman.

evelyn was right but for the wrong reasons

plan right out of avengers 1's incredibly stupid villain playbook

"ill destroy the enemy but first i must unite them"
literally asking to be defeated

The trans stuff is purely Fanon I believe? Not that I'm complaining.

And if so, Has it caught Disney's attention?

Of course not

Actually I'm pretty sure Gazerbeam had already been killed by Sydrome at that point.

He did hate all supers. Mr Incredible was the main catalyst for this hate, and the main focus of it, but he wasn’t the sole target. Syndrome wanted all people to become super through technology, making supers redundant.

I would have liked it if Screenslaver made reference to him, especially because she’s using technology to elevate herself on an even playing field with supers just as he did.

The report stating his disappearance was in a recent newspaper, so I don’t think so.

Well his skeleton is on Syndromes Private Island.

Now I'm no genius but I definitely know how long it takes for a body to decompose, so he must have been there for a least-wait, scratch that thing I just said.

Whoever decided to not install the superhero phone in the panic room.
IT JUST MAKES THE MOST SENSE.

She got mad at supers cause the neighbours came and killed her father after he kept prank calling them with the superhero phone.

The incredibles are randian movies.
In the head of the director, she can't be right about superheroes because, the rest of the population would be helpless without them.
That's also why the theme of the role of superheroes in society is never properly treated in this movie.

>as Supers were being used as a crutch. Normal people were relying on them blindly and that mentality was what got her parents killed.
This is an interesting theme and after stating it, the movie just refused to treat it.

>tfw massive MC boner.

I got the impression he had time to make the call and get to the room but was too stuborn to do so

The one that was actually breaking the law? Pretty sure brainwashing people and holding people against their will counts as kidnapping or something. That being said the brother's hero worship would have ended up badly for him and possibly his family eventually. You can't go through life expecting superman to sweep down and save you. It's a terrible message for kids.

Remember the first thing he did when he got the phone was show it off to the press, having it out in the open shows how proud he is to know supers.

Why does she look like she's stoned out of her mind?

Evelyn dresses too contemporary for the setting.

You've never even read Rand or what she stands for have you. I don't believe in her stuff either but at least use the terms right.

If anything, it should have been revealed that she herself was the one who had her parents killed.

>at least use the terms right.
No, she didn't.

Yeah... I know

If the sister didn't help her brother in the first place she would never have to do the super villain shtick. If you create your own problem you are a fuck up.

Yea I really wondered just how Cyclops and Human torch were going to makt it to his house stop a guy who was at best 15 feet away with a gun

The fake villain's rant was a lot more interesting for a motivation. That whole thing about entertainment ruining people, and people depending on supers like they depend on tv to provide human experience for them.

I got the impression he still wanted to be Incrediboy, but superior to Bob. So he wanted supers out of the way so he can finally pretend to be a hero and go save lives and be awarded keys to cities. His midset sort of mutated into supers are in the way if his finally being an amazing superhero that the public adores.

Brad Bird for making this garbage

A fan re-imagining had the the brother convince his sister to give up by convincing her that their father wasn't an idiot, he was intentionally buying them time to get to the safe room; he was obsessed with heroes, he was one.
Then the action climax would be all the heroes teaming up to stop the underminer for just a fun ending scene.

Fan "fixes" usually suck, but goddamn would that have been so much better than the yacht shit.

A tumblr self insert if ever I saw one.

I don’t get how syndrome supposedly killed almost all the golden age duped when there are probably more who aren’t desperate to be a super again like Helen was

>Bob told him shit was dangerous and tells him to stop
>syndrome has a shit fit because Mr. incredible was trying to help not get killed

You talking about these?
youtu.be/8FYtj96v2CY
youtu.be/R2nkV1oACNI

See, I just wanted a fast-forward to Jack Jack as a pre-teen or teen meeting with an old, fucked-up Gamma Jack who had escaped Syndrome and laid low afterwards. Go full Apt Pupil and have the anti-hero tutor Jack-Jack in the art of abusing your powers.

They were both wrong for different reasons. People shouldn't count on supers for everything, but supers shouldn't be completely unaccountable.

Brad Bird was never going to do a fanfiction-tier timeskip plot. Jack-Jack is going to stay a baby forever because he thinks Simpsons Time is what works best for the franchise.

What if Cyclops also had the power to travel through his eye beam? Like, he shoots a punch laser and then turns his whole body into Punch Energy and travels alongside it, rematerializing at the point of impact.

Leave now Dan Schneider.

>Handsome Jack
God damn it.

>someone finally acknowledging that Helen has almost no good porn despite a decade of her movie being out and everyone being aware of her fat ass

Hell, I don't even think enough good porn of her was made after the second movie

By all lights, it doesn't make any sense!

Probably the one who tried to commit mass murder.
