I get the appeal of solo movies but I like that we're actually getting movies that understand the appeal of an interconnected superhero universe much like the comics. I never thought I'd get something like that as a kid but here we are now, for better or worse.

They could very well pull an Aquaman and just give him a way more comics accurate suit in his solo movie.

Agreed with the people who are complaining about this - he was badly written for his brief scene in BvS, which again was the fault of The Hack and Goyer, and he was also badly written when they decide to try to make him the comic relief in JL (which likely can be set on the feet of Zach in part, since that was a reflexive reaction to the flaws in BvS and MoS, but mostly on Josh).

He's an excellent actor and very personable on his own, there's no reason to recast him at all.

Batgirl doesn't even have a director or a script, neither does Lobo and also The Joker (Leto is about to start a different film and will have other conflicts), New Gods does not have a script, and Plastic Man is just a fantasy as is Jaime

Teaming up with someone with more awareness of moviemaking could help with that. Personally I'd prefer almost anything to watching 2 hours of focus on the spastic twerp they made him in the previous movie.

Ezra seems dedicated to getting the tone right, it doesn't seem like he's convinced it's some "dark" universe based on what he's said. I guess whatever they're looking at is darker in comparison to the quip-fest that was Barry in JL.
