This'll be as quick as I can manage

I've got good news, Giganta is in this book

Bad news, Cary Nord is back on art duties

>Bad news, Cary Nord is back on art duties
Oh well

It was a real downer for me too, lemme tell ya

>It was a real downer for me too, lemme tell ya
Agreed.

And hereupon lies the crux of this tale

...

One would think she'd be a little more generous with her clandestine death squad program but Wall's gonna Wall

>get giganta
>but the art is...this
monkey's paw bullshit

Not gonna lie, that's a pretty good entrance

I appreciate that we're going for humor, but I mean you oughta know the lasso's strong enough more than anybody Giganta

"Fuck you, pay me"
*Diana makes Kif noise*

>I've never seen anything this size in this dimension before--except FOR YOU
oh my

Also, do you still have a job and a mortgage when you're in prison

Attached: Wonder Woman (2016-) 066-020.jpg (1988x3056, 818K)

Wasn't this a conversation that had to happen before they were in the field?

Well, I guess you probably still have a mortgage

But definitely not a job

One would think you hash out the financials before you take down the first Titan for free

Anyway as always I don't care about ads so bag it and tag it, it's a storytime

I thought that Diana had access to money.

I'm surprised that Giganta's price is fairly reasonable.

>caloric requirements
Wouldn't the food she eats while normal grow with her? Otherwise you'd need to feed her like she were a small nation for her to even go for a brisk walk.

I assume she must burn a lot of energy while enlarged

And so like Rita in Doom Patrol has to consume a bunch of rotisserie chickens afterwards

The faces are really throwing me off. Odd style for one of DCs biggest titles at the moment.

Giganta is cute, damn.

That's why it was bad news

Nord did most of the first arc and it was a chore until someone else had to come in and finish it

And we're not talking a major name, just a house artist or whatever

But the book was suddenly very much more easy to read

I've read a bit of Nord's Conan. His faces are always a little odd (kind of abstract), but the rest of it was paired with really good coloring that enhanced it.
Either he can't draw like that anymore, or he's trying something new.

Wow, the book suddenly got way better since last issue. The humorous tone works, and the brisk pacing is very refreshing. Where was this in the first arc, Wilson?

Also, I love how Diana immediately goes "Fuck this." and just goes to get Doris. And the banter between the two is a lot of fun.

Very pretty. Very nice.

>And we're not talking a major name, just a house artist or whatever
It was literally just some guy off of Deviant Art, and he's still the best artist that GWW's run has had so far.

something looks wrong with her face

I think he did some random Injustice issues in the past for DC.
Or some other digital first book

that's a rape face if I ever saw one

That is now Aphrodite? she went from a beautiful goddess to someone who looks like she never slept all night and is still in shitty smelly cleaning clothes?

the face doesn't have nearly as strong values as the rest of her

Perfectly missed opportunity for a 'mooo-ve' joke.

I don't think I've seen the word "OVES" in a comic book before.

oh dear

Thank you

thanks for storytiming

The art was inconsistent as shit. The writtting finally resembles at what i know of Wilson, but the art is a total mess. Why are you doing this to me Nord? You were so good in Conan!

>Where was this in the first arc, Wilson
Wilson does good chick banter, but that's it. Office politics or old world scheming or anything where the dialogue has to have a tone of importance attached is beyond her and that's all the first arc was. As long as we get Wondy and friends in lighthearted silver age adventures it should be middling to good (which is all I expected anyway. )

Based Giganta is back

...

I really don't want to pick on the art, but that is the saddest excuse of an upskirt ass I've seen drawn in a long time.

If detective comics and action comics are going over 1000 issues how close would wonder woman be to that and why have't they attempted a legacy numbering for her yet?

>are there rocks ahead?
>if they are, you'll be dead

Mmmmm...

He IS a satyr after all

The real question is whether or not she'll follow the Gail Simone school of Giganta appearances.

WW 600 was around 2010.
Last year she hit 700, but they didn't do anything to celebrate

OH NO SHE'S HOT AND CUTE

I mean, Doris is already very much going the semi-friendly enemy route in this. One presumes Wilson went and read up on some notable appearances, so it's just consistency at this point. Expect Ryan to at least get a mention.

Hm, even the part where Diana is kind of annoyed and weirded out, but can't bring herself to complain. Yeah, I think Wilson actually read a fucking book. That should not be worthy of note, but welcome to modern comics.
