I think it's more of an open secret thing because Vision refused to let everyone else know, and in a dire situation like that it's not really as important as everything else.

Although you do remind me that in No Surrender, Vision and Wanda were also distant... And the only time they seemed anywhere close was during Waid's Avengers in that one Secret Empire tie-in, which doesn't count since both were manipulated. I think for most writers, that ship sailed a while ago.

Early on in No Surrender there was the scene where she tried to free him, but it didn't last. That gave them a few panels of holding hands and staring into each other's eyes, and then there's nothing between them for the rest of the story. No Road Home had them holding hands again for most of the third issue.

Anything in comics is only as over the current writers want it to be. Marvel's writers and editors have been actively fighting MCU synergy by keeping them apart by giving them new relationships, they'll probably fight even harder when the Disney+ series starts.

Just a random thought that might be better for the next Immortal Hulk storytime, but has anyone else noticed the distinct lack of Hulk in the upcoming events and such? I wonder if Ewing is requesting that he'd be left unused besides some appearances in other minor stories?

The sales report from February 2019 hasn't come out yet, I don't think... Since this is a weekly arc, the amount of sales shown over there will determine whether this is actually doing well.
However I read recently that the first issue went to reprint, which is remarkable considering it came out barely a month ago.

I think this is the case, and whichever events include Hulk, it's Ewing who's writing them (like The Best Defense). The only exception is "Hulkverines" and that's a 3-issue mini written by the previous Hulk writer, so perhaps it doesn't really count.
Either way, I'm glad Hulk is being kept away from crossovers and tie-ins, it's the easiest way to derail a book and Ewing in particular has been a victim of this shit.

The only upcoming event is War of Realms, if Hulk isn't there, it just means Jason Aaron is focusing the story on Thor characters and anyone else appearing in a major role is there because he likes them, or Marvel want to push them in their 2019 event. If Hulk fails to appear in more events afterwards, there may be reasons and plans, but now is too early to tell.

Hulk doesn't place in my Top 3 favorite characters list, but I've been liking him since Immortal Hulk. I like it when he's living up to the boast of being the strongest there is, him being articulate and fucking scary makes it even better.

Murder-Hulk has been the best thing to ever happen to this character.

You have that wrong, ChoHulk came first because Cho stole the gamma from Bruce to become ChoHulk. A few months after that during CW2, Banner died and was dead for less than a year until he came back.
