>Bart Vs Itchy and Scratchy >Krusty releases an all-female reboot of "Itchy and Scratchy," so Bart and his crew of all-male friends decide to boycott the show. After Bart's friends turn on him for laughing at the reboot, Bart joins a woke group of sixth-grade girls who commit crimes against patriarchy.
Remember when bart was the edgy rebel icon of the 90s?
Caleb Nelson
If there isn't a joke like milhouse having fan art or fanfics of the new ladies why I'll...
Matthew Wilson
>not waifufagging the shit out of the all-female reboot how unrealistic
Joseph Taylor
Personally I doubt the girl Itchy will be as brutal to girl Scratchy as in the regular Itchy and Scratchy show.
Though honestly knowing the show right now, the audience probably won't even see the female Itchy and Scratchy movie.
Luis Ross
Remember when the Simpsons were mercilessly poking fun at pop-culture?
Kevin Peterson
>heels >pink dress >curtsy Isn’t this toxic femininity?
Aiden Richardson
If old Simpsons were mocking female reboots it would just be a 30 second clips of a female itchy and scratchy making catty comments at each other. Not an entire episode about it
Justin King
Sadly I'm guessing he'll just be an incel strawman in this episode.
Logan Morgan
>boycott the show What happened to not watching a show. It's not loyalty, a show is good you watch it. It's not you watch something else. Show's don't owe anything to viewers and vice versa
Angel Garcia
Why do I want to fuck girl Scratchy?
Lincoln Williams
they also banned the MJ episode.
Landon Bell
Didn’t South Park do this with female Terrance and Phillip?
James Hughes
Times change, in with the new out with the old
Camden Morales
I wanna fuck that cat
Jayden Cruz
Milhouse sounds like a guy to make them his waifu
Parker Moore
How bad could it be?
Kayden Hernandez
It'll be the girl Scratchy because she's so vulnerable.
David Thompson
Reminder that waifufaggotry leads to trapfaggotry which eventually leads to full blown faggotry. Stop your idolization of femininity before it's too late.
Jaxon Roberts
is this a real ep?
Brandon Moore
Yes.
Liam Ward
Aww, she's cute
Carter Sanders
It's airing in two weeks. Next week is about e-sports.
James Wilson
Tragically the formula of the show means the Girl Itchy will have reduce her to pieces by the end of every episode.
Kayden Harris
Nice source, fagtron.
Eli Thompson
>implying all-female reboots turn the characters into girly feminine versions Zombie simpsons being clueless as always.
Christian Cook
And because it's new Simpsons and the writer is a feminist you know it will be biased against the boys and the reboot isn't in any way crappy.
Angel Parker
This brings up an interesting point, what's going to happen when it's under Disney? Is Disney going to say no to all the jabs it makes?
>Looked it up >Real The episode is wirtten by one "Megan Amram" who looks like a disgusting tranny. Wrote two "comedy drag shows". >has tweeted "Today was the day Donald Trump finally became president" every day.
why exactly do Homer and Marge have a box full of wigs and little girl clothes in their closet
Aaron Morales
> Special guest Stars >>Awkwafina as Carmen >>Nicole Byer as Erica
Can't they do one episode WITHOUT special guest stars?
Ryan Torres
It could be OK if the show makers are depicted as not giving a shit and just half-assing the reboot and it's exactly the same as the original, only with the genders swapped.
Then you're mocking the boys for not realizing it's more or less identical to the original show and you're mocking the girls for supporting a lazy reboot.
Gavin Harris
Itchy and Scratchy still exists, I thought they stopped being a thing about John Swartzwelder departure?
no, its not that, we couldn't stop it because we don't own the damn thing.
doesn't fucking matter, nothing will work short of everyone just stop watching it all at once for like an entire year.
then they might stop it.
Camden Brown
it's... not an argument. At all. Wtf.
Logan Phillips
When is the all-female Sneed coming
Lucas Moore
I never got Itchy and Scratchy to begin with?
I mean Happy Tree Friends and Spy Vs Spy alternate the victims and the victor, but Itchy and Scratchy was always the mouse killing the cat for no reason.
Like why would anyone ever be excited to see an episode knowing the exact plot and outcome?
Joshua Nelson
you're thinking too much about it
Nicholas Smith
Theres still a chance that this will be poking fun at the whole thing, it might end with bart realising the whole fighting against the patriarchy thing is a load of shit and tell everyone to stop fighting and just enjoy some cartoons.
Nathan Morales
>they ban mj episode for a documentary >but they keep pushing their shitty degenrate agenda ayyy
Anthony Sanchez
Ever hear of Tom And Jerry?
Noah Perry
I don't really care at this point. Even if it's as you said, the delivery will be bland like the entire episode was. They more likely try to stay relevant by creating a controversy.
Lincoln James
>jabs it hasn't had a decent jab at anything in at least a decade now so how much will it really change? Instead of talking about how great "mapple mypods" are it'll be talking about how great disneyland is. The Simpsons doesn't satirize pop culture so much as promote it these days.
Tyler Harris
Tom won a fair amount of cartoons and even when he loses, he fights back and starts the conflict a number of times.
In Itchy and Scratchy, Itchy ALWAYS wins, even with 1000 of shorts, not only that but Itchy always starts the conflict, whilst Scratchy either ignores Itchy or is outright friendly to him.
In real life, Itchy and Scratchy would never be successful with those reasons as there would be no reason to watch the show. You can't root for Itchy because he's a douche and the plotline is always the same with always the exact same outline.
* Scratchy doing something. * Itchy arrives * Itchy kills Scratchy for no reason.
Ian Rogers
Bart realizing that he's a furry due to cat tats and mouse milkies would have been a better episode plot than this.
Adam Walker
Wasn't the show starting to get better? Last I watched it seemed like it was on an upturn
Isaiah Cook
That's the point. It's an over-the-top parody with zero nuance.
James Fisher
I can get that, but I wonder why the Simpsons crew kept making them, the joke on the pointlessness of Cat and Mouse cartoons with Itchy and Scratchy was old after their 3rd appearance.
Austin Nelson
Except the one where Scratchy did win that only aired once.
Sebastian Richardson
I was always just meant to be a parody on how much over the top violence cartoons had been developing over the years, they just never bothered changing it when that wasn't really a relevant observation anymore. This is the first time they've bothered to change it to make it a parallel to cartoons today.
Noah Gonzalez
We never even saw that episode.
Josiah Hill
That makes her more precious
Dylan Rogers
Still exists.
Blake Powell
Didn't the Simpsons mock people who took offense to Apu?
Matthew Butler
Isn’t Awkwafina that dolphin pop star from Bojack?
>It could be OK if the show makers are depicted as not giving a shit and just half-assing the reboot and it's exactly the same as the original, only with the genders swapped. It's just going to be commentary on the evils of companies using diversity as a means for money and not being sincere and how it insults women.
James Moore
Not in the real world.
Jackson Adams
It still amazes me that people still don't believe shills exist when the Simpsons went from a dead as fuck show that you'd be laughed at if you brought it up to a dozen threads a day about a single upcoming episode.
I think its more along the lines of people mocking the episode for its absurd premise and failure to be relevant by bringing up the ghostbusters film three years ago.
I remember when the episode they had literally 2 days ago was one where Marge gets romanced by some stud
Because they haven't done one like that before
Isaac Smith
The big question is...will there be lewds?
Caleb Cook
Neither does any Itchy and Scratchy cartoon. What's your point?
Dylan Garcia
Makes me think of the Fritz The Cat adaptation Crumb hated.
Carson Thompson
We see those of those cartoons in vidid detail.
Brody Ramirez
H Bart T
Colton Barnes
They know what they're doing. The best way to stay relevant is to get people to talk about them. Doesn't matter if people hate it or love it. As long as you're talking about The Simpsons, you're keeping it relevant.
Kevin Wood
>intro says that they bite and fight and has them clobber each other with mallets >only Itchy actually fights/bites
Robert Martin
its one of those things that existed to parody something of the time but since the show (mostly) outlived the original thing it turned into its own thing with no context, its no longer a parody of something relevant but the show is semi-dependent on it so it existed outside of its joke and became splintered off krusty is the same thing but with TV clowns, although i don't know of many clowns that still had a primetime TV show even when the simpons first started i feel like a better modern episode would be the show being rebooted with radically different, simpler designs and no violence, instead of what looks like the joke is going to be the old show but wigs drawn over the animation cells, to actually be a more apt comparison to modern cartoons vs tom and jerry era ones but then they'd have to actually understand current pop-culture and not just make a brisk reference to it
Brody Collins
Ah yes, the same time Lara Croft was a videogame sex symbol.
Adam Hughes
Not all of them. The movie, for example.
Anthony Morales
We see the movie, we never see the cartoon where Scratchy apparently wins.
Parker Thomas
I meant the entire movie.
Wyatt Bell
We saw the entire movie, Itchy running over Scratchy with a train.
Literally the credit music is playing as Elderly Homer and Middle Aged Bart are talking.
Anthony Gomez
Where were all the special guests Lisa mentioned then?
Evan Ortiz
They were probably those cheering students at the graduation.
Andrew Phillips
Uh-huh.
Parker Miller
The whole point of that joke was that the Itchy and Scratchy movie was nothing special, remember?
Joshua Bell
>We saw the entire movie, Itchy running over Scratchy with a train. I don't remember that
Carson Reed
yes, standing up for the rights of white men is edgy and rebellious
Juan Wright
No, it wasn't.
Jordan Brown
Near the end of the episode, they do a flash forward where an adult Bart is chief justice of the United Stats and sees the movie with Homer.
The movie consists of Itchy tying Scratchy to the real rail road tracks, then going to engineer school, graduating, getting a diploma and then running over Scratchy with the train.
As the credits play, Homer says Itchy is a jerk and Bart laughs.
Jaxon Ortiz
Then why did they show at the end that the movie was just a cartoon no different from a regular Itchy and Scratchy cartoon?
Dylan Young
It's a parody of Herman and Katnip.
Cooper Hill
You're paranoid schizophrenic and disbelieve memes and trends in favor of complex narratives of psyops and marketing in a board dedicated to IPs older than the color television.
Noah Davis
Still didn't imply that was the entire movie.
Matthew Torres
What's going on? And I want a non-gay explanation!
Jack Gomez
The credit music is playing as Homer and Bart are talking right after.
Kevin Howard
Milhouse sounds Bi-sexual from the episode 3 season 20 "Double, Double, Boy in Trouble" becase he has noted that a boy, named Deven Woosterfield, to be beautiful.
Cooper Smith
Given the stuff we know right now? Very.
Luis Harris
We don't know if that was credits music. Plus, you clearly see Homer and Bart get comfortable as they continue to watch.
Nathan Perez
We've heard the Itchy and Scratchy credit's music before, the movie was over
Justin Fisher
They've done it a few times, even in this season. Unless you count Kevin Michael Richardson or the fourth regular male voice (Chris Edgerly, in recent years) a guest star.
Wyatt Gonzalez
They don't normally show credits. What are you talking about?
Nolan Jackson
They've shown the Itchy and Scratchy credits a few time, the same ending jingle for the credits was playing as Homer and Bart were talking in the movie.
Tyler Howard
There's never been credits, other than in the one Bart and Lisa made. Just an occasional "The End" title card.
Ayden Wilson
Incorrect, its shown a few times.
It goes like "Da, da da, duuuh."
Parker Peterson
They must be truly desperate to have a bottle of water as a guest star.
David Gomez
Give me proof of another time they've shown credits then.
>After Bart's friends turn on him for laughing at the reboot >when women think men act like they do.
just let the zombie die
Grayson Perez
Reading this has audibly gotten several "Ooooh noooes" out of me. I'm still saying it as I'm typing this.
Michael Ortiz
SOUTH PARK DID IT! SOUTH PARK DID IT!
Matthew White
Go on Yea Forums and ctrl+f "Google" and have fun getting proved wrong by all the Google™ shill threads going on about how hyped™ they are for the new ™Google™ console coming out in 2019™ to a ™store ™ near™™ ™you.
Yeah, that totally explains anyone interested in the "hip" and contemporary zombie Simpsons getting all #topical.
The joke is this board is full of interest in IPs older than the Simpsons yet people believe shilling is necessary for anyone to want to make a thread about "sexism" in geek culture and the controversies surrounding that.
Carter Johnson
the black one
Hunter Moore
Come to think of it, Scratchy's wife has existed for years and nothing from the internet.
Then there's that its canon that Itchy is Yandere for Scratchy before the term Yandere was even common knowledge.
Parker Wright
I imagine classic Simpson would have fem Itchy(Bitchy) pouring Scratchy(Snatchy) tea while sitting at a fancy table.
Snatchy drinks up the tea is delicious & likes the taste, until Bitchy shows it was acid, as Snatchy screams, Bitchy decapitates her with a razor on her high heels, then turns Snatchy's head into her purse.
Cameron Lopez
When will we be out with the Simpsons, then?
Adam Lopez
The writers said they can't stop until Fox tells them to.
Nathan Morris
What a nightmarish, never ending hell they must live.
And this song was made in the 2000s when the shows quality was already rapidly declining.
Gavin Bennett
dead cat bounce
Cameron Baker
I would rather watch Disenchanted while spiders were poured into my ears than watch an episode of new Simpsons. How do you people manage to put up with the voice actors who sound like decrepit corpses?
Jace Martin
Dan coughed in the booth so they kept it in one episode.
Eli Murphy
Is woke what they actually used in the description
But in all seriousness female Scratchy looks like the kind of demure feminine character people actually like, instead of the in your face strong independent womyn who don't need no man.
Maybe if these reboots used women who act like women instead of women who act like anti-male strawmen they might actually be good.
If they insist on doing this kind of thing they should just go all in. I want them to make an episode so ridiculously mean spirited and angry that even Twitter is like "woah settle down Beavis". It would be the most interesting thing this show has done in fucking decades.
Just fucking DO something, exist for a fucking reason you walking corpse.
Evan Perez
It can't be worse than the queefing episode of South Park
Liam Lopez
o god, please just kill the show already, please just stop raping our old friend on tv like this
Ryder Clark
The Simpsons really make me belive in magic, someone made the monkey paw wish and were all witnessing the wish. Who ever you are I forgive you, there’s no way you’d ever know what would happen.
Jackson Russell
>find the writer's twitter >looks like a tranny >"TODAY THE FIRST DAY BLUMPF BECAME PRESIDENT" is apparently millennial humor That thing is suffering. We usually put things that suffer down.
Parker Bailey
For the sake of fairness, here's "Pinkie" other side of her head Still cute, tho.Fuck y'all
YOU COULD OF USED TRIGGER FOR THIS OR AT THE VERY LEAST STUDIO MIR BUT NOOOOOO, YOU HAVE TO SHOW THAT YOU LIKE UNDER A ROCK THAT YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW NORMIES WORK!
Whoo, I needed that.
Austin Harris
It's just dress up,
Brody Walker
He's no princess Turdina, but still cute.
Lincoln Smith
You people are all idiot. The Simpsons handed you a gun and a bullet years ago, and here you are complaining that Zombie Simpsons is chewing on your brain. They told you how to avoid this sort of horseshit, you just didn't listen.
Wait are you telling me that if the movie stinks I just shouldn’t go?
Ryder Reed
Yes, and also don't give them free marketing because you think your scathing insights are enough to counterbalance the awareness you're bringing to their product.
Just don't look.
Jonathan Thompson
Pussy!
Jack Williams
I had a look and she’s been tweeting that almost every day, I feel like I’m missing something.
Jason Thompson
Have sex
Henry Bailey
>>has tweeted "Today was the day Donald Trump finally became president" every day. What does that even mean?
Colton Powell
Why do the Simpsons writers alternate from parodying to directly mentioning Star Wars?
